wolfvb Khalifa Kush vs. German Weather πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺβ›ˆοΈ Welcome to my 2026 outdoor balcony run! This year, I’m taking a bit of a gamble and running Khalifa Kush Feminized from Blimburn Seeds. I recently ran a poll on my IG asking if this heat-loving strain could survive the unpredictable German spring/summer. The results were split: 56% say she’ll thrive, and 44% think it’s too risky. It’s definitely a bold move, but we are going to see what she can do under the Berlin sun! β€‹πŸŒ± Germination & Setup Details: Method: Kept it natural and planted 1 seed directly into the substrate. Substrate: A mix of BioBizz Coco-Mix and Coco Coir from Rewe. Current Home: She is currently in a red solo cup inside the indoor tent to get a safe, strong head start. I've got a clear plastic bag over the cup acting as a DIY humidity dome to keep her cozy. Temps are sitting around 26Β°C. Time to pop: 3 days from putting into the soil. β€‹β˜€οΈ The Master Plan: She’s going to veg safely under the grow lights in the tent for the next few weeks to build up a solid root system and some thick stems. Once the Berlin weather finally warms up in late April, she’ll be making the big move out to the balcony to soak up the real sun. Has anyone else successfully pulled off Khalifa Kush outdoors in a cooler European climate? Let me know your tips below! Wish me luck! πŸ€

wolfvb Seedling Stage – Off to a Strong Start! Growth Update: Germination was 100% successful! The Khalifa Kush seed popped quickly and has now officially broken the surface. She’s looking healthy with her first set of cotyledons fully expanded and the first true leaves starting to peek through. I’m keeping her in the red solo cup for now to focus on root development before the big move. The DIY humidity dome (clear plastic bag) is doing its job perfectly, keeping the environment nice and moist for the young seedling. Environment & Care: Light: She is under the grow lights in the indoor tent to prevent stretching. I’m keeping the light intensity low/moderate to avoid stress. Temperature: Hovering steadily around 26Β°C. Watering: Just light misting and very small amounts of plain pH-balanced water to keep the coco-mix moist but not soaking wet. No nutrients yet letting her find her feet first! Plan for Next Week: I’ll continue to monitor her growth and gradually acclimate her to lower humidity by venting the dome. If she continues to grow at this pace, I’ll start a very light seedling-strength nutrient regimen toward the end of next week. So far, so good!

I am currently vegging my plant indoors on an 18/6 light cycle, but running the lights from 10 PM to 4 PM to save on electricity. I plan to move her outdoors at the end of April. Will the sudden shift in the light schedule (reversing night/day) stun the plant or trigger early πŸ₯¦

DA PLANT NEEDS TO BE HARDEN OFF FOR A WEEK PRIOR!!! YOU CAN DO DAT DURING DA DAYLIGHT HRS!!!! DA PLANT WILL GET SOME STRESS FROM DA CHANGE!!! DA PLANT WILL BE OUTDOORS FOR DA SEASON!!! SO IF IT SLOWS DOWN FOR A BIT IT HAS PLENTY OF TIME TO RECOVER!!! JUST MAKE SURE DAT YOU HAVE 14.5-15 HRS OF DAYLIGHT WHEN YOU MAKE DA MOVE SO DAT IT DONT FLIP INTO FLOWER MODE!!!!!

wolfvb Week 2 Update: Stacking Nodes and Growing Strong! πŸš€ 🌿 Pushing out those leaves! 🌱 Welcome to Week 2! The little seedling is taking off nicely in her starter cup and showing off some beautiful, vibrant new growth. The Details: Development: She is officially working on her third set of true leaves! The node spacing is super tight, and those new little leaves are pushing out perfectly. The cotyledons are still nice and green, doing their job to power this early vegetative stage. Structure: She's got a nice, sturdy, fuzzy little stem going on. I'm really happy to see zero signs of stretching, which means the light intensity and distance are right in the sweet spot. She's standing up perfectly straight and handling the environment like a champ. β˜€οΈ Health: Overall health is 10/10 right now. The leaves have a rich, healthy green color with absolutely no signs of nutrient burn, deficiencies, or overwatering. She's just happily doing her seedling thing and building up her foundation. Next Steps: For now, I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing! The main goal is to let her build a solid root mass in this cup. I'll be monitoring her watering needs closely as she gets bigger and keeping an eye out for when she might be ready for her first transplant. Happy Growing !!! πŸ₯¦β˜€οΈ

wolfvb What's up, GrowDiaries fam! πŸ’š Welcome back to another update! This time we are shining the spotlight on the main event, the culprit that started the whole early-transplanting frenzy the Khalifa Kush! πŸš€ As you can see from the pictures, she is settling into her giant new home perfectly and is looking absolutely stunning in the early vegetative stage. β€‹πŸŒΏ Development & Structure: Unlike her tiny R.S. 11 tent-mates, she is definitely ready for this pot size! She is building a beautiful, symmetrical structure with tight internodal spacing. Those fan leaves are broad, thick, and showing off some classic Kush genetics. No heavy training just yet; right now, the focus is just letting her stretch those roots out and establish a rock-solid foundation after the transplant. Update: 8.4.26 Topped her after the fifth node and let's see how she will do, my goal is maximum yield from this grow πŸ’š let's keep our fingers crossed 🀞 so far she is doing excellent. β€‹πŸ’§ Nutrient & Water Log: She just got a nice foliar spray and a fresh drink (you can see the water droplets still resting on those massive leaves πŸ’¦). Her color is absolutely perfect a deep, rich, vibrant green from top to bottom. There are zero signs of stress, nutrient burn, or deficiencies. She is eating well and clearly loving whatever mix she's sitting in! 🍽️πŸ’ͺ ⛺ Environment & Health: Overall health is 10/10. She took the transplant without skipping a single beat and is praying beautifully up toward the light. The environment in the tent is dialed in, and with that massive fabric pot, her root zone is getting all the oxygen it needs to explode with growth over the next couple of weeks. I’m super excited to see how she develops now that she has all this room to run. I have high hopes for this Khalifa Kush! πŸ† Let me know what you guys think of her progress in the comments! Happy growing and stay frosty! 🌲πŸ”₯

wolfvb 🌿 Week 4 Update: Khalifa Kush - Topped & Thriving! βœ‚οΈπŸ“ˆ We are officially in Week 4, and the Khalifa Kush is looking incredibly happy and healthy. She is responding beautifully to her recent haircut! πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: Topping Recovery: As planned last week, she was topped, and if you check out the close-up macro shots, the recovery is absolutely flawless. The cut healed nicely, and those two new main shoots are already pushing out strong and reaching for the light. She barely skipped a beat! πŸŒ±βœ‚οΈ Structure & Bushiness: The topping did exactly what it was supposed to do. The apical dominance is broken, and you can see in the photos that all those lower branches and side shoots are rapidly catching up. She is building a super dense, bushy, and compact frame with really tight internodal spacing. Overall Health: The foliage is gorgeous right now. We’ve got deep, lush green fan leaves with perfect structure and no signs of nutrient burn or deficiencies. Those thick, sturdy stems (loving those natural purple stripes coming through) show she is feeding well and building a strong foundation to support future buds. Updates: I love this girl so much I decided to learn and experiment with cloning, I don't have any rooting gel or powder to use but as I understand this should work regardless so I just cut a lower branch and cut it in 45Β° I think πŸ€” and peeled the lower part of the stim with my scissors βœ‚οΈ let's hope it will work will. πŸ’§ Environment & Next Steps: She is clearly loving her current environment and feed schedule. For the upcoming week, the goal is just to let her veg out and let those new main tops stretch a bit. Once those branches get a little longer, I might start implementing some light LST (Low Stress Training) to open up that dense center and establish a nice, even canopy. She's off to a fantastic start. Let's grow! πŸŒ²πŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌱 Week 5: Khalifa Kush Canopy Control & The Clone Survival Watch! βœ‚οΈπŸ‘€ What's up, GrowDiaries fam! πŸ’š Welcome to Week 5 of the Khalifa Kush journey. We have a lot going on this weekβ€”serious training on the main plant and a tense waiting game with the next generation! The Big Girl & Heavy Training πŸŒΏπŸ“Ž Let's talk about the main plant first because she is an absolute beast! Just look at the size of that massive, dark green fan leaf in the second photo she is thriving and loving her environment. I've been getting very hands-on with the canopy management this week. As you can see, I'm using thick green garden wire to tie down and direct those branches right at the nodes. We are spreading her out, keeping that canopy perfectly even, and she is responding beautifully to the stress. The stems are already thickening up like tree trunks to support the bends! The Clone Watch: Will She Survive? πŸ₯€ Now, for the big question on my mind: Will Khalifa Kush Clone #1 pull through? Right now, she’s looking a little sad and droopy in her red solo cup, supported by the skewer. Don't panic this is totally normal for a fresh cutting! Taking clones is always a massive test of patience. Because she doesn't have a root system to drink water from the soil yet, she is relying entirely on the moisture in the air. I'm sending her all the rooting vibes and keeping a close eye on her. Huge thanks for tuning in, fam! I'll keep you all posted on the clone's progress and the main plant's explosive growth next week. Happy growing! βœŒοΈπŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌱 Khalifa Kush – Massive Fan Leaves & Hitting 42cm! πŸ“πŸ–οΈ What's up, GrowDiaries fam! πŸ’š Welcome to Week 6 with the Khalifa Kush! This girl is on an absolute tear right now and is easily becoming a massive bush in the tent. Measuring Up & Monster Leaves πŸ“πŸ–οΈ I had to break out the folding ruler for this one! As you can see, she is sitting right around the 42-43cm mark and pushing upward with serious vigor. But the most impressive part this week has to be the size of her foliage. Check out the photo with my hand for scale those fan leaves are absolutely massive! They are a beautiful, deep, dark green, telling me she is loving her current nutrient mix and the LED intensity. Update: 27.4 She has been evected from the tent and now will start her life in the balcony under sun light. 28.4 She seems to be doing fine πŸ˜… so I went and give her the final topping, as I see she still wanna grow upward, but I need more branches so let's see how she will react this will be her 2nd topping. 1.5 She is doing excellent outside, let's see how she will react to the change of the light schedule now and sun light LST & Thick Stems πŸ’ͺ🌿 The training we started last week is paying off big time. Looking at the undercarriage shots, you can see the thick green garden wire keeping those main branches tied down and spread out. Her stems have thickened up like absolute tree trunks to support the bends! She is taking the Low Stress Training (LST) perfectly and building a really strong, sturdy foundation for when we eventually flip her to flower. Tent Guardian πŸ‘ΆπŸ•·οΈ Shoutout to the little tattooed baby doll standing guard in the fabric pot! Gotta keep the bad vibes and pests away somehow, right? πŸ˜‚ She is looking incredibly healthy top-to-bottom. The new growth at the canopy level is vibrant and stacking nodes tightly. Thanks for tuning in, fam! Let me know what you think of her progress in the comments! Happy growing! βœŒοΈπŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌿 Khalifa Kush - Loving the New Home! β˜€οΈπŸ‘ We are into Week 7, and the Khalifa Kush has officially moved to her new spot! As you can see from the photos, she is absolutely loving the new environment and thriving. πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: Massive Knuckle Development: Check out that extreme close-up of the main topping site! She has built some incredibly thick, reinforced "knuckles" right where the main stem splits. Combined with those deep purple stripes, it shows she is building a super strong, sturdy frame ready to hold some serious weight later on. πŸ’ͺ LST in Action: I've applied some green 90-degree bending clips to the new tops in each side, and they are doing a fantastic job. It’s opening up the center of the plant beautifully, allowing light to penetrate down into the lower canopy and encouraging a wide, even bush structure. Foliage & Health: The fan leaves are huge, leathery, and sporting a really deep, lush, dark green color. The lighter green new growth in the center shows she is still pushing hard. I can see a tiny bit of tip burn on a few leaf points, which just means we are pushing the nutrients to the perfect maximum limit she's eating well! 🍽️ πŸ’§ Next Steps: Now that she is settled and the training clips are doing their job, the plan is to just let her keep soaking up the light and expanding that canopy outward. She is looking incredibly vigorous and healthy! Let's grow! πŸŒ±πŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌿 Midnight Photoshoot! πŸ“ΈπŸŒ™ Welcome to Week 8! The Khalifa Kush is looking so incredibly lush that I had to sneak out and grab some shots of her glowing in the dark. 😜 The nighttime flash really highlights just how healthy and vigorous she is right now! πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: Midnight Glow: The camera flash really shows off the deep, rich, glossy green of her fan leaves. She is packed with nitrogen and looking perfectly fed no deficiencies in sight, just pure, vibrant health. 🌿✨ Canopy & Bushiness: She is packing on the foliage and getting super dense. Those broad, heavily serrated leaves are massive, soaking up all the energy they can during the day to fuel this explosive growth. Training in Action: Even with how thick the canopy has gotten, if you peek through the leaves, you can still see the red LST clips doing their job holding those branches open. The structure underneath all those leaves is wide and sturdy. βœ‚οΈ πŸ’§ Next Steps: With her getting this thick and bushy, I'll be keeping a close eye on airflow through the center of the plant. Depending on how much more she stretches, some light defoliation or leaf-tucking might be in order soon to make sure the lower/inner sites aren't completely shadowed. But for now, she is a perfectly healthy nighttime beauty! Let's keep it growing! πŸŒ±πŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌿 Khalifa Kush - Loving the Balcony Life! β˜€οΈ? Welcome to Week 9! The Khalifa Kush has fully settled into her outdoor spot and is absolutely thriving. Making the move outside was definitely the right call, and she is soaking up every bit of that fresh air and sunshine. πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: Canopy & Bushiness: Thanks to the ongoing training you can clearly see those green LST ties and clips doing their magic around the base, she has developed into an incredibly wide, even bush. Instead of one main dominant cola, we've got multiple strong tops all reaching for the sun evenly. 🌳 Foliage Health: The fan leaves are massive and rocking a beautiful, vibrant green. She looks perfectly adapted to the outdoor environment right now no signs of stress, just pure, vigorous vegetative growth. Stem & Structure: Her main stalks are thickening up nicely to handle the natural breezes out on the balcony. She is building a super sturdy, reinforced foundation to support all that wide lateral growth. πŸ’ͺ πŸ’§ Next Steps: The goal for this week is simply to keep up with her current feed and let her enjoy the great outdoors! I'll continue to monitor and adjust the training ties as she stretches out to maintain that wide footprint, making sure the center of the plant gets plenty of light and airflow. wolfvb 🌿 Khalifa Kush - Sun-Kissed and Stacking! β˜€οΈ? Welcome to Week 10! The Khalifa Kush is putting on a spectacular show out in the natural light. She is soaking up the sun and turning into an absolute jungle of healthy, vibrant foliage. πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: Canopy Density: Just look at how thick she is getting! The internodal spacing is tight, and she is stacking leaves on top of leaves. The structure is incredibly dense, creating a massive, bushy frame with multiple strong tops fighting for the light. 🌳 Foliage Health: The close-up shots show off exactly what we want to see. The leaves are a perfect, rich, vibrant green with deep, healthy ridges and sharp serrations. She is praying beautifully toward the sun, showing zero signs of stress or nutrient deficiencies. πŸƒ Sunbathing: The way the natural sunlight catches the texture of those fan leaves highlights just how robust she is right now. She is heavily fueled up and actively converting all that outdoor energy into explosive vegetative growth. ✨ πŸ’§ Next Steps: With a canopy this incredibly thick, the main focus moving forward is going to be keeping an eye on the airflow through the center of the plant. As she continues to bush out, I might need to consider tucking some of those massive fan leaves or doing a very light defoliation to make sure the inner growth sites are getting the light and breeze they need to thrive. For now, I'm just letting her enjoy the great outdoors! Let's keep it growing! πŸŒ±πŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌿 Khalifa Kush - Absolute Fire on the Balcony! πŸ”₯πŸš’ Welcome to Week 11! I'm not kidding the Khalifa Kush is an absolute powerhouse right now. She has completely taken over her space on the balcony and is putting on a masterclass in vegetative vigor. πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: Explosive Bushiness: Taking a look at the full-plant shots, her structure is magnificent. She has developed into a massive, wide bush with incredibly tight internodal spacing. All that early training is paying off exponentially, creating dozens of strong, even tops. 🌳 Flawless Organic Health: The color on this girl is picture-perfect.the fan leaves are a deep, leathery, vibrant green with sharp serrations. The organic nutrient regimen is clearly hitting the exact sweet spot she needs to fuel this kind of explosive growth. πŸƒ Under the Hood: Peeking down into the center of the canopy, you can still spot those green training clips hard at work holding that thick frame open. She's building incredibly sturdy stalks to handle the outdoor breezes. πŸ’ͺ πŸ’§ Next Steps: With a canopy this incredibly dense, the main focus this week is going to be monitoring the airflow through the center of the plant. If she gets much thicker, a light, strategic defoliation of some of those massive inward facing fan leaves might be necessary to ensure good light penetration and air circulation down to the lower nodes. For now, we just keep pushing that feed and letting her soak up the sun! She is a complete beast! Let's keep it growing! πŸŒ±πŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌿 Khalifa Kush - The Training Pays Off! πŸ”₯ Welcome to Week 12! The Khalifa Kush is keeping the momentum going strong out on the balcony. She has developed into an incredibly thick, wide bush, and we are really seeing the results of all that early manipulation. πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: LST at Work: The red and green training clips are the absolute stars of the show in these photos! You can clearly see them anchoring those lateral branches and holding that thick, sturdy frame open. Without those clips directing the growth outward, she would be completely choked out with how vigorously she is producing foliage. πŸ–‡οΈπŸŒ³ Canopy Density: She is an absolute unit right now. The internodal spacing is remarkably tight, stacking massive, healthy fan leaves right on top of each other to create a solid wall of green. Foliage Texture: Looking at the close-up macro shot, the leaves have a beautiful, deep texture, sharp serrations, and a rich, leathery green color. She is fully fueled up and absolutely loving the natural sunlight and outdoor climate. πŸƒβ˜€οΈ πŸ’§ Next Steps: With a plant this incredibly dense, airflow is the name of the game. I will be keeping a very close eye on the center of the canopy. As she continues to bush out, a strategic defoliation of some of the larger, inward-facing fan leaves will likely be necessary just to make sure the balcony breeze can get all the way through her center and keep the microclimate healthy. She is looking absolutely fire! Let's keep it growing! πŸŒ±πŸ’¨
