hijiki It's been a while! I've been slacking on my diary since then, but I've transitioned to the flowering stage without any major troubles. Since everything is a first-time experience for me, I feel like I might have transitioned to flowering a bit late! I'm maintaining the pH at 6.0, and the pH of the drained nutrients is also stable around 6.0. I'm still using the three types of Tri-Part nutrients and haven't added any new ones. To be honest, would it be better to have calcium and magnesium? I think the leaves might be a bit too dark green. Is it possible that the leaves are dark because of too many nutrients? I have 6 plants in 5 pots, with 2 plants in one of the pots. The air from the straw seems to be working well! The 3-gallon pots are small, so I'm having to water them more frequently, which is tough! I still can't clearly tell if they're male or female. I hope the day comes soon when the pros can look at the photos and comment, "It's a female!!!!" Since it's the second week after switching to 12-12, I hope I'll know soon whether they're male or female!

hijiki "Nice to meet you! I found some bag seeds and decided to take the plunge into my first grow. I’ve gathered the essential gear for now, and I’m planning to upgrade or replace things as I go. Initially, I struggled with the coco substrate staying wet for too long, but I managed to improve the humidity and ventilation. I actually taped the exhaust from my carbon filter directly to the intake of my dehumidifier to force-dry the air, and it worked like a charm—dropping the RH from 70% to around 60%. Even though it might be overkill for coco, I live in a naturally humid area, so I decided to use an air pump and some straws to feed air directly into the substrate! I’m keeping a close eye on it to make sure I don't create any dry spots (air pockets). I'd love to hear any advice or tips you might have for a beginner!"

hijiki Huh? My diary has disappeared. Why is that? Anyway, in the end, I got 2 females from 6 seeds, and only 1 of them actually developed buds. It was a really fun six months. I learned a lot and I'm looking forward to the next grow! Since the seeds were originally free, I can't complain, but there are some females that aren't sticky at all. That was a learning experience. Or maybe there was a difference during the grow...? It's still before harvest, but just wanted to report. Thank you so much to everyone who gave me advice!
