Ich habe das Gefühl, dass sie in den kommenden Wochen noch einmal komplett explodieren wird. In der Höhe scheint sie dagegen langsam an ihr Limit zu kommen, was mir ehrlich gesagt ganz gelegen kommt 😂 Durch das Scrog-Netz bin ich zum Glück bestens abgesichert und kann ihre Triebe perfekt kontrollieren und verteilen. Im Vergleich zur letzten Woche haben die Buds nochmals deutlich an Volumen gewonnen. Die Kelche schwellen weiter an und die Colas werden von Tag zu Tag dichter und schwerer. Besonders beeindruckend ist die Harzproduktion. Die Zuckerblätter sind mittlerweile komplett mit einer dicken Schicht Trichome überzogen und verleihen der Pflanze einen wunderschönen frostigen Look. Dazu kommen die violetten Farbtöne in den Blüten und Blättern, die den Bag Appeal nochmals deutlich steigern. Auch wenn bereits viele Pistils ihre Farbe verändert haben, produziert die Pflanze weiterhin frische weiße Haare. Sugar leaves are completely covered in a thick layer of trichomes, giving the plant an extremely frosty appearance. Combined with the beautiful purple hues developing throughout the flowers and leaves, the bag appeal is becoming outstanding. Although many pistils have already changed color, the plant is still producing fresh white hairs. This tells me that she is not completely finished yet and is still actively building weight and quality. Mendo Guava once again proves why she has become one of my absolute favorite strains. MrWeeedWorld Woche 14 – Die Königin zeigt ihre ganze Klasse. 👑🍈❄️ Wow... jede Woche denke ich, dass die Mendo Guava kaum noch schöner werden kann – und trotzdem überrascht sie mich immer wieder aufs Neue. Mittlerweile befindet sie sich in Woche 14 und präsentiert sich genau so, wie ich es mir zu Beginn dieses Grows erhofft hatte. Sie steht wie eine wahre Königin im Zelt und zieht mit ihren riesigen, komplett bereiften Colas sofort alle Blicke auf sich. In den vergangenen Tagen hat sie noch einmal ordentlich an Volumen gewonnen. Die Blüten sind sichtbar angeschwollen und fühlen sich inzwischen steinhart an. Besonders die Hauptcolas wirken mittlerweile unglaublich massiv und schwer. Selbst die unteren Buds entwickeln sich hervorragend und zeigen, wie gleichmäßig sich diese Genetik entwickelt hat. Die Harzproduktion ist einfach absurd. Egal wo man hinschaut – alles glitzert. Die Blüten sehen aus, als wären sie komplett in einer dicken Schicht aus Frost eingehüllt. Selbst die Sugar Leaves verschwinden mittlerweile fast unter der weißen Trichomschicht. Genau solche Pflanzen machen einen Grow unvergesslich. Auch ihre Farben entwickeln sich immer weiter. Die dunklen violetten Zuckerblätter bilden einen wunderschönen Kontrast zu den hellen, silbrig schimmernden Trichomen. Zusammen mit den orangefarbenen Blütenstempeln wirkt jede Cola wie ein kleines Kunstwerk. Immer wieder bleibe ich vor dem Zelt stehen und kann einfach nicht aufhören, sie zu bestaunen. Der Duft wird inzwischen von Tag zu Tag intensiver. Sobald sich das Zelt öffnet, strömt einem eine unglaublich süße Mischung aus reifer Guava, tropischen Früchten und cremigen Bonbonnoten entgegen. Im Hintergrund entwickeln sich zusätzlich leichte exotische und fruchtige Nuancen, die das gesamte Aroma unglaublich komplex wirken lassen. Schon jetzt kann ich es kaum erwarten, sie nach dem Curing endlich zu probieren. Langsam beginnt jetzt auch bei ihr die wunderschöne Endphase. Die großen Fächerblätter zeigen immer mehr ihre natürliche Herbstfärbung, während die Pflanze ihre komplette Energie in die letzten Blüten steckt. Gleichzeitig erscheinen an einigen Buds noch vereinzelte frische weiße Blütenstempel – ein Zeichen dafür, dass sie sich noch ein kleines bisschen Zeit gönnt, um wirklich ihr volles Potenzial auszuschöpfen. Wie alle Guava-Strains in diesem Run wächst auch die Mendo Guava in Erde und wurde während ihres gesamten Lebens mit dem kompletten Plagron-Düngeschema versorgt. Zusammen mit den konstanten 1500 ppm CO₂, einer stabilen Umgebung und viel Aufmerksamkeit konnte sie ihr genetisches Potenzial beeindruckend entfalten. Genau so habe ich mir diesen Run vorgestellt. Die Ziellinie ist inzwischen zum Greifen nah, aber bei einer Pflanze wie dieser lohnt sich wirklich jeder einzelne zusätzliche Tag. Over the last week she has packed on even more weight. The flowers have noticeably swollen and now feel incredibly dense and rock hard. The main colas have become absolutely massive, while even the lower buds continue to develop beautifully, showing just how uniform and well-balanced these genetics really are. The resin production is simply insane. Everywhere I look, the buds sparkle under a thick blanket of trichomes. Even the sugar leaves have almost disappeared beneath the layer of frost. This is exactly the kind of plant every grower hopes to see during the final weeks of flowering. Her colors continue to become even more beautiful. The dark purple sugar leaves create an incredible contrast against the bright silver-white trichomes, while the deep orange pistils complete the picture perfectly. Every single cola looks like a work of art, and I constantly find myself standing in front of the tent simply admiring her. The aroma has become stronger with every passing day. Opening the tent releases an intense wave of sweet guava, tropical fruits and creamy candy notes. Behind those dominant aromas are subtle exotic fruit nuances that make the terpene profile incredibly rich and complex. I honestly can't wait to experience how these flavors develop after drying and curing. She has now entered the beautiful final fade. The large fan leaves are gradually changing color while the plant redirects all of her remaining energy into swelling the flowers even further. At the same time, a few fresh white pistils are still appearing on several buds, showing that she isn't quite finished yet and still wants to add those final touches before harvest. Like all of my Guava strains, the Mendo Guava is growing in soil and has been fed with the complete Plagron nutrient schedule from start to finish. Combined with a stable environment and 1500 ppm CO₂, she has been able to fully express her incredible genetics. This is exactly what I hoped this run would become. The finish line is now very close, but a plant like this deserves every extra day she asks for. Patience always pays off, and I'm happy to let her finish naturally rather than harvesting too early.
