Growbay Now that we have legalization, I’d like to gradually add my last grow that I photographed as a celebration. With my order of my beloved SBRxJH from Delicious in winter 21/22, I received 5 pieces of the then-new Delicious Cookies, a modern overhyped US strain with GSC genetics, so I was on the lookout for bananas as soon as those seeds opened up, and of course, I found some, but I won’t get ahead of myself. Germination was 12 hours in water, then into jiffa, 100% success, and straight into final bags of about 15 liters. I wanted to do this round properly and on a budget - meaning low-cost, so I used potato sacks, I had a leftover 50L bag of substrate, so I dissolved what I think was 11L(?) of coconut block to make it work for those +-15L per plant, added mycorrhiza, and for nutrients, I prepared the leftovers from Biobizz.

Growbay The damn fungus gnats showed up and nematodes weren't in stock, so I improvised with 5cm of perlite and it helped, but later I found out that roots were growing into it after watering and then they quickly dried out and died, so I'll be taking it out again before flowering. Nowadays, nematodes are available everywhere, but back then it wasn't like that... One girl was growing slower and one was growing extremely fast, so I was already on the lookout for eggs, otherwise everything's good 🔥🔥🔥 I don't remember the nutrients anymore.

Growbay The plants were doing well, one was slower and the other was on speed, I was slowly looking for bananas on the fast one 🍌 last photos just before the switch.

Growbay 11. the flowers haven't really shot up yet, but they're starting. The tallest one really threw out bananas, so I took care of it because I can't get to them daily and I don't need it pollinating everything around. Thanks to the movements in the other tents and especially the brutal selection during my first breeding project, I decided to move the smallest one to another tent and to isolate those two uniform ones (in the photo on the left) and give them space to show themselves.

Growbay I added perlite and topped it off with substrate. I also added one more light, so now they're under 300W. The stretching ended up being about 2.5x, luckily I put that net in just in time. The girls look like identical twins and so far I'm very satisfied.

Growbay Week 8, the smell is very sweet cookies, one girl has colored up, otherwise they are very similar and I really like the buds 👍 I just slightly overdid it with the nutrients.

Vigorous, easy to grow and very beautiful plant with nice sweet smell and really strong effect. Went well even with the really basic setup. Easy to trim buds, one girl went purple, but the structure, smell and taste are identical. Overall great genetic, well done Delicious Seeds 🫡
