kintrala Germination Phase: The Initial Struggle (Feb 07 – Feb 26)
Stage: Germination & Recovery (Lilith & Pandora)
Description:
The start of this cycle was characterized by an unusually long germination period and a critical failure with the original genetic material. It is important to note that these seeds are not from a professional seed bank; they were a gift, originating from a previous crop where a plant turned hermaphrodite and pollinated the others. This unpredictable genetic background likely contributed to the 19-day gap between the initial sowing and the successful emergence of the seedlings.
Critical Timeline
07/02 | Initial Sowing: The first set of seeds was placed in the substrate. Standard germination parameters were maintained, but no surface activity was recorded during the following two weeks.
21/02 – 22/02 | Seed Loss Incident: Upon inspection, it was confirmed that the original Pandora seed had completely disappeared/dissolved within the medium. No taproot or shell remnants were found.
22/02 | Re-Sowing (Pandora): A new seed for Pandora was sown immediately into the pot to restart the process.
24/02 | First Signs (Lilith): After 17 days, the green of Lilith’s cotyledons was finally spotted buried just beneath the soil surface.
Final Emergence
25/02 | Lilith Emergence: Lilith broke the surface completely. It was observed that her stem had been growing horizontally underground before finding the way up, which accounts for the extended delay in her appearance.
26/02 | Pandora Emergence: The second Pandora seed showed rapid development.
AM Report: Seedling starting to peek through the substrate.
PM Report: Plant fully upright with cotyledons beginning to unfurl, successfully concluding the germination phase for both specimens.

kintrala Week 1 (Feb 25 – Mar 03)
Stage: Seedling / Early Vegetative (Lilith & Pandora)
Description:
This week marks the official beginning of the life cycle after a long and uncertain germination phase. Given the unique genetic origin of these seeds (gifted from a hermaphrodite pollination event), the focus has been on monitoring structural integrity and initial leaf development. Lilith and Pandora are now established in their 3-gallon pots with Plagron Growmix.
Key Milestones & Environment
25/02 | Lilith’s Official Start: Lilith fully emerged from the substrate. Despite her stem growing horizontally underground for days, she corrected her posture and immediately began developing her first set of true leaves.
26/02 | Pandora’s Emergence: Exactly 24 hours after Lilith, Pandora successfully broke the surface and was fully upright by the end of the day.
28/02 | Vegetative Onset (Pandora): Pandora began forming her first true leaves, keeping her only one day behind Lilith in the cycle.
Development & Feeding
Feeding Strategy: Watering is performed with normal water (pH-balanced). Power Roots was introduced from the first watering to ensure the seedlings establish a strong root system as quickly as possible. No base fertilizers (Terra Grow) are being used yet due to the pre-fertilized nature of the Growmix.
Lilith: Showing a strong "will to live" after 17 days underground.
Pandora: Developing with surprising speed and symmetry after the re-sowing.

kintrala Week 2: Establishing Roots (Mar 04 – Mar 10)
Stage: Early Vegetative (Lilith & Pandora)
Description:
Following a turbulent germination, this week was dedicated to stabilization and root development. Both seedlings have successfully shed their seed coats and are now focusing on their first sets of true leaves. Given their "bag seed" origin (hermaphrodite pollination gift), I am monitoring their structural stability closely. The focus remains on not over-saturating the Plagron Growmix while the root systems are still fragile.
Key Milestones & Environment
07/03 | First Targeted Feeding: The first official watering was administered. Both plants received a combined 100ml (50ml each).
10/03 | Genetic Protocol Adjustment: Established a strict 50% dosage rule for all future nutrient salts, as these autoflowering plants are more sensitive to high EC levels in the early stages.
pH Management: The target pH for this vegetative phase has been locked at 6.2 – 6.4 to ensure optimal uptake of micronutrients in the soil.
Development Notes
Lilith: Showing vigorous growth despite her initial horizontal stem issue. She is leading the cycle by only 1 day compared to Pandora and currently displays a slightly more robust leaf set.
Pandora: Recovering perfectly from the re-sowing process. Despite emerging 24 hours after Lilith, she is showing consistent symmetry in her new growth and catching up fast.
Substrate Note: No base nutrients (Terra Grow) or enzymes (Pure Zym) have been added yet, as the Growmix contains enough pre-fertilized organic matter for the first 3 weeks of life.

kintrala Week 3: Substrate Buffering & Leaf Expansion (Mar 11 – Mar 17)
Stage: Vegetative (Lilith & Pandora)
Description:
As we reach the third week since emergence, both plants are showing a significant increase in leaf surface area and node development. Since the Plagron Growmix is pre-fertilized for approximately three weeks, this has been the final week of relying solely on the soil's internal amendments. The focus remains on maintaining a healthy root zone and preparing the plants for the introduction of base nutrients and enzymes in the coming days.
Key Milestones & Environment
11/03 | LST Initiation (Lilith): Horizontal LST (Low Stress Training) was officially started on Lilith. Given her initial horizontal stem growth underground, this technique was applied to capitalize on her structure and promote lateral branching from the very first nodes.
11/03 – 17/03 | Vegetative Consolidation: Throughout this week, Lilith and Pandora have started to develop their 3rd and 4th nodes. The internodal spacing remains tight, indicating adequate light intensity in the 120x60 tent.
17/03 | Week 3 Closing: This date marks the technical limit of the substrate's factory-added fertilizer. Both plants look healthy with a vibrant green hue, showing no signs of deficiencies or "hunger" yet.
Development & Feeding
Feeding Strategy: Watering continues with normal, pH-stabilized water (6.2 – 6.4). Power Roots remains the only additive used to maximize the root mass before the transition to the full nutrient schedule.
Nutrient Note: No Pure Zym or Terra Grow was added during this window to avoid salt buildup, as the organic matter in the Growmix was still active.
Lilith: She maintains her 1-day lead over Pandora. Her structure is slightly broader, and with the LST started on 11/03, she is already showing more exposure to lower potential bud sites.
Pandora: Her symmetry is nearly perfect. Despite the 24-hour delay in emergence, her growth rate has matched Lilith’s leaf for leaf this week.
Current Status: The plants are now ready to transition into their first full nutrient cycle. Starting next week, we will introduce enzymes and a 50% dose of base nutrients to support the upcoming explosive growth phase.
