Cannarich Seems to be enjoying life

Cannarich Just natural growth so far

Cannarich Mesh fitted around pot and starting LST. Aiming to grow main stem through mesh and then train in a spiral around the outside.

Cannarich I'm slightly alarmed at the rate of growth, so switched to 11/13 light to try and speed up the flowering stage. Expecting it to triple in height from when flowering starts. At least one of the lower branches has caught up with the main stem now the LST has been noticed, so I expect to train those out the opposite side. I've put 'Normal' for smell, but for a plant this young, it smells quite strongly already. I see very subtle over feeding showing on the leaves, but I've only put a few drops in, probably half strength. It might have been too much water when I was hand watering, before fitting automatic.

Cannarich Smell has died back to normal. Stretch is slowing. Leaves looking sativa like. Adjusting feed towards flowering. 50:50 mix of veg/flower at half strength. Added an extra fan. Light turned up 100%. The helix idea hasn't worked out as hoped, but it's not a disaster. But standard LST and topping and a bigger pot next grow. I put maximum constraint on this plant because I was led to belive Malawi was rampant, but I went too far! Mind you, it's still early days...

Cannarich Growth spurt slowed. Starting to fill. Less worried about it getting out of control now. I should have used a more conventional training and topped it. The one advantage I'll have, because it's never been topped, is the shortest time to harvest the way I have done it. Accidental HST on one branch yesterday, so it'll be interesting to see what that brance does now.

Cannarich I feel it's slightly over fed, so gave a pint of fresh water and reduced feed by half. Still stretching, but buds filling. Notice a few brown pistils.

Cannarich Resin building, buds fattening, stretch not too bad. Scent is building. I see a slight over nutrient again, so fresh water for a few days and then reduce nutrient from now. Reduced temperature to hopefully build some terpenes. Presuming another 3-4 weeks to go before early harvest to catch the full on Sativa high. Definitely quality over quantity for this little experiment!

Cannarich Nutrients lowered further and giving plain water every now and again. Temperature also reduced. Surprised at the lack of smell still, but happy with the way she looks, even it there's not a lot of her. Definitely ScrOG next time, as the heights of the colas are not even. The light is impressive though, so on flat out at a good distance, she's getting 1000 PPFD on most of them. Picked a few yellowing fan leaves and some that were either shading or reducing air flow.

Cannarich Increased height of light to reduce brightness to 900ppfd and reduce temperature at top. I might be imagining the beginnings of foxtailing and buds are stacking rather than filling in the last few days. Slightly increased feed because leaves yellowing a little.

Cannarich Another growth spurt. What I thought might have been foxtailing, was just stacking. Hopefully this top spurt fills in. Smell is getting irresistible!

Cannarich It's filling in the spaces which appeared last week with stretching. Still producing fresh calyx and pistils. I can see just one or two amber trichomes, mostly cloudy, with new clear ones appearing. Smell going up a bit.

Cannarich Mostly milky trichomes, very few clear, just one or two amber. Cutting today to preserve the promised Malawi raciness, which matters more to me than quantity. Just as well, it's only about 2oz of dried, but I will update when it is.

Cannarich Dried in same grow fridge, with subtle dehumidification to around 55% and temperature close to 16C. Now in jars to cure at 55% and 18C. I had a little dabble of some quickly dried nugs, shared with with a mate. He thought it was weird. I thought it was awesome weird! Wide awake, buzzing, highly enlightened visuals and aurals. Maybe not the best for conversation, as it's a bit busy!
