Gundermann The big growth spurts are happening & flowers are starting up!
After doing LST with clamps and hooks the time has come for the scrog net. Even though I am not going for a real scrog I still think that the net is a quite useful tool, especially if your available space is getting crowded by leaves quickly. So far I think that I sucessfully broke apical dominance.
So far I am quite impressed by the Sour Jealousy, for once she basically quadrupled her volume this week.
But then she also kept pace with her tentmate (California Snow Auto) in terms of height, while being subjected to LST (especially the main stem).

Gundermann First Week of Flower: Another week, another insane stretch. She again basically doubled in every dimension!
Also she still is only a few cms behind her sister (California Snow Auto @78cm) in spite of the LST. Also the previous main cola has managed to reach almost the same height as the other branches, so everything is going well there.
The tent is already get crowded though.
Water consumption is increasing steadily, right now about once a week.

Gundermann Again a week of amazing growth. Her stretch (thankfully) slowed down a bit, but the buds started coming in!
Because of the crowded tent there is not much light penetrating to the bottom. As a result she is letting go of a few of the lower leaves, meaning they fall at the slightest touch.

Gundermann She has almost caught up to her sister (California Snow) in terms of height. But due to her getting LST she is developing a beautiful and even canopy of (hopefully quite dense) buds. Really looking forward to trying this one!

Gundermann Another week, another pleasure to watch this lady grow. Vertical growth has basically come to an end, but bud growth has kicked in.
The buds on the top colas are starting to grow into (at least visually) a large single bud. Also some pistils started browning.
But there may be some problems coming, as indicated by the burnt tips on the upper leaves and the plant letting quite a few of her lower leaves fall on the slightest touch. This probably stems from some light burn (top leaves) and maybe a slight nitrogen deficiency (lower leaves)?
To combat this I increased the added amount of BioBizz Grow and reduced light intensity slightly.

Gundermann When being honest this week wasn't the greatest, due to the flu stopping by and muddling plans. Mainly I didn't get to investigate the current problems further until the last day of the week.
The symptoms were upward crawled tips, some dark/rusty spots on the leaves and letting go of lower leaves.
These symptoms led me to believe that I got a issue with light-burn, heat-burn and a nitrogen deficiency (induced by the previously mentioned). On the one hand I did manage to lower the temperature within the tent noticably, but for some reason I just didnt check the ppfd/dli values... And yes they of course were "a bit" high (~800-900 ppfd - 52-59 dli). So after readjusting the lights (550-650 ppfd - 36-42 dli) I am hoping for the symptoms to reduce/stop.
On the plus side the size of the buds has increased noticably, as has the smell.

Gundermann In my opinion she is still not at a perfect place in term of plant/leaf health, but at this point there is no visual improvement to be expected anymore. Furthermore as she has completed the 6. week of flower (11 weeks in total), signs of senescence are probably coming in as well. A decrease in water comsumption supports this.
Other than that I am content with last week. She already smells amazing and bud size is still increasing!
From now on I will have an eye on further signs of ripening. Most of the pistils are already brown (60%) and there are already a few amber trichomes to be found. Most of them are still glassy though.

Gundermann I got a new carbon filter (by AC Infinity) and the smell vanished like it was never there. Awesome stuff!
The difference in smell makes it really obvious that I should have replaced it a while ago. Now that I know (and own a refillable filter) this, I try to mediate future degradation sooner.
Harvest is almost upon us! She just completed her 7th (+- 0.5) week over flower (12th week overall) and as far as I can tell, she is almost done.
Most of the pistils are brown. Even the lower and very flimsy flowers (they ain't real buds) are mostly brown.
There are definitely enough few ambers on the top colas, but most of the lower buds don't have show much yet.
I will probably chop her within the next 10 days, depending on the plant and some external factors.

Gundermann Harvest is here!
After 8 weeks (~59 days) of flowering and a total of 91 days (13 weeks) of growth I chopped the lady.
To be honest I would've preferred to harvest her a few days earlier, but due to constraints in time and space doing both plants at the same time is most feasible for me.
She got amber trichs on most colas and most of her pistils are brown. So she was definitely ready!
Furthermore it became apparent that just removing the (kinda tangled in) scrog net was too much for her ability to stand upright. So that's the reason why she is looking like she is falling apart in some of the pictures.
For the first time I am going to give dry trimming a shot, mainly because of the not being able to properly look after them for a bit. Until now I only ever did wet trimming, but hopefully this allows them to dry evenly and slowly enough for curing afterwards.
So now I am only removing a few leaves and hope for the best.
