Mrs_Larimar 1. Tell us a bit about yourself: who are you, where are you from, and what do you do outside of growing? I'm Mrs. Larimar, living in a small village in Northern Europe. Outside of the grow room, I work with mentally, socially, and physically handicapped people — it's deeply fulfilling work that requires a lot of patience, empathy, and dedication. I'd say those same qualities follow me into the garden. Life is about care, whether it's for people or plants. 2. How did you get into growing? Tell us about your very first steps. I started growing back in the 1980s — long before it was trendy or widely talked about. It began outdoors, just me, the soil, and a lot of curiosity. There was no internet, no GrowDiaries, no communities to turn to. You learned by doing, by failing, and by observing nature closely. Those early years shaped everything I know today. 3. What role does cannabis play in your life – personally and as a grower? Cannabis is many things to me — it's a passion, a creative outlet, and a form of medicine. But above all, it's a plant that deserves respect. Growing it organically, understanding its biology, and sharing that knowledge with others — that's what drives me. It's become a real part of who I am. 4. What growing method do you prefer and why? I started outdoors and that love never left me. But over the past 8+ years I've also grown deeply passionate about indoor growing — particularly with Autopots and an organic-first approach. The Biotabs "just add water" system fits perfectly into that philosophy. I want to work with nature, not against it. 5. Which strain is closest to your heart and what fascinates you about it? That's a tough one — after 264+ documented diaries it's hard to pick just one! But the Gaia F1 from Royal Queen Seeds has a very special place recently. She grew like a flower bouquet, tripled in biomass, and was incredibly rewarding with minimal intervention. Pure magic in a pot. 6. What has been your biggest learning moment as a grower? Pushing myself out of my comfort zone — every single grow. I made that a personal rule early on: always try something new, a new strain, a new technique, a new system. The biggest lessons came from the grows that didn't go as planned. Failure is just education with a higher price tag. 7. What does your typical grow routine look like? With Autopots and Biotabs, my routine has become beautifully simple — which took decades to achieve! I check on my plants daily, observe closely, document everything with weekly updates. The ritual of being present in the grow room, even just quietly watching the plants develop, is something I truly treasure. Documentation is part of my practice — I want every diary to tell a full story. 8. What advice would you give beginners? Start simple, stay curious, and never stop learning — no matter how old you are. I truly believe that. Don't be afraid to ask questions and don't be ashamed of mistakes. The community is there to help. And document your grows! You'll be amazed what you learn by looking back. 9. How did you first hear about Biotabs and what made you want to try it? As someone who has always leaned towards organic growing, Biotabs caught my attention because of its philosophy — feeding the soil, not the plant. The tablet system sounded almost too simple, but that simplicity is exactly what drew me in. I wanted to test it properly and see for myself. 10. How has Biotabs influenced your grow and what do you appreciate most about the product? Biotabs has genuinely changed how I grow indoors. The results with the Gaia F1 were remarkable — tripled biomass, using nothing but the just-add-water Biotabs strategy. What I appreciate most is the trust it builds: you set up the system, you feed the soil life, and the plants do the rest. It aligns perfectly with my organic-first belief. Less interference, more abundance.

Big congratulations on this outstanding interview 🙏 Reading it felt like a journey through decades of experience, passion and true connection to the plant. There’s so much wisdom in your words – especially the mindset of working with nature instead of against it. “Less interference, more abundance” really hits deep 🌱 You can clearly feel this is not just growing, it’s a way of life. Truly inspiring 💚
