Plant went into the grow tent in week 3 and oscillating tower fan added One of the two plants is less symmetrical and is showing signs of nitrogen toxicity and slight yellowing of the leaves that looks a little like a calcium deficiency, This plant is in Bio Bizz light mix whereas the other plant is in some garden compost (hence all the weeds!). I fed them only water for the next feed. However if it is a calcium deficiency I can only think it is either a result of supplementing with epsom salts or a PH issue as the tap water is very hard here. Growth is looking on target and I'm wondering about starting some LST. I've also been supplementing with some sodastream C02.

Biobizz light soil plant: 21cm height Garden compost plant: 27cm height The Biobizz plant has shown much less symmetrical morphology with stunted growth on one side of the nodes. Could be a genetics issue? Decided against LST as it's my first autoflower grow The garden co,post plant seems a lot stronger with less signs of nutrient problems. It is a lighter green than the other plant though. The biobizz soil plant is showing very slight burnt tips so I may ease off the nutrients The pictures show some of the nutrient problems I'm having. It may be something to do with pH as I'm not testing it. I've added dried powdered eggshells to the soil and am trying folar spraying but calcium carbonate is not very soluble so will get some calcium chloride

Bio Bizz soil plant: 36cm Garden compost plant: 40cm Plants popped lots of pistils and bud sites and started to stretch. I'm spraying with a 25mM calcium chloride folar spray in case of calcium lockout and considering pH testing (but trying to decide which ph meter to get). I chose a 25mM conc from this research: Efficacy of Exogenous Calcium Applications for Reducing Upper Leaf Necrosis in Lilium Star Gazer' The biobizz soil plant is trailing the other plant quite significantly and the lower leaves are yellowing. From the side by side pictures you can see it is darker green also. The garden compost plant has brown spots on some of it's middle leaves. Not sure what deficiency this may be! Thinking it could be calcium, manganese, or potassium? It also has paler leaves - I'm going to feed this one with slighly more biogrow. I decided against LST as it's my first autoflower grow. Any comments very welcome!

BioBizz soil plant: 53cm Garden compost soil plant 48cm I bought a pH pen and tested my nutrients and soil runoff. pH of nutrients was 6.5 (tap water was at 7.6). However the run off from the garden compost plant was 7.2. I flushed with at least 10 litres of rainwater at pH 5.6 and the runoff stayed at 7.2. The runoff was consistently medium brown coloured suspension which suggested that there was a lot of dissolvable material in the soil. The plant had shown signs of slight curling down of leaves with the last feed - so I decided to go easy on the biogrow for this plant. I gave more biogrow to the biobizz soil plant as the lower leaves had been yellowing. I also gave it over a litre of water instead of the 0.5 litre I had been giving previously. As I was concerned about the pH of soil in the garden compost soil - I also repotted it with a layer of new multipurpose compost at the bottom. This treatment seemed to go down well with the biobizz soil plant as it went through a stretch to overtake the garden compost plant (which may have stalled a little due to the repotting and flushing). However the garden compost plant is producing more trichomes than the biobizz soil plant and is smelling more. The garden compost plant is a lot more bushy and the leaves are not as slender as the biobizz soil plant. I've been folding in leaves to get more light to the buds and taking the plants into the bright sunlight we've been having recently. Spraying with a calcium/magnesium/seaweed spray everyday also seems to have helped and nutrient/pH problems seem to have stopped. I'm still being careful about defoliation until I'm secure the plants are happy! Comments welcome as always

BioBizz soil plant: 55.5cm Garden compost soil plant 50cm Both plants are budding flowers nicely. the garden compost plant is more resinous and sparkling with trichomes but the biobizz plant has stretched more and has more space. There is more space on this plant and the pistils are whiter, more voluminous and less dry/old looking. I trimmed a handful of fan leaves to give the garden compost plant more light. The smell is building! Comments welcome as always

Plants are looking healthy. Ph is good for both. Some defoliation - but I wonder if Cannabinoid production is produced by photosynthesis does more leaf surface area possibly help in this regard. Would love to see some research on the science behind defoliation. Leaves look almost suger coated! The morphology between both plants is more marked. The biobizz soil plant seems to show more of its sativa heritage than the other. I guess that's what happens with siblings showing that unique variation in their inherited genetics. They smell good! I wonder if they'll be ready at week 10 or I'll need to wait later. The garden compost plant buds don't seem to be swelling much more but the surrounding leaves are becoming encrusted with sparkles.

Fan and filter disconnected falling and breaking off the two bottom stems on the Biobizz (BB) plant! Oh well gave me a chance to quick slow dry them to try them out! It may be because they were still a little early but it was a little milder than I expected. Both plants are healthy and smelly. Checking the trichomes the GC (garden compost) plant has a few amber trichomes and looks as ready as some previous photoperiod plants. As you can see from the pictures the BB plant has more white pistils and has less dense flowers. This plant also started producing trichomes earlier. It has more orange/brown pistils. Wondering if it might be time to harvest dead on 70 days as I don't like a couch-lock stone. I've started to lower biobizz concentrations to half and then on to a full flush.

Harvested 35g from the garden compost grow and 39.4g from the biobizz soil grow. However 5.4 g of the latte came from cutting and leaving the lower branches to continue to grow and develop for several weeks. Not quite as high in THC as I'd expect but nonetheless a great high and a very easy grow. Definitely recommended!

Sorry to hear about the fall. But the ladies still look happy and healthy. Some really nice buds there. Keep doing what your doing and best of luck with the rest of the journey.

Thanks @Denzul! They do seem to be doing well and I've decided to harvest at 69 days as the garden compost one definitely looks ready :)

Thanks @Cannibalgardens, they smell amazing! Never seen crystals spreading so far, even creeping up the fan leaves. Your grows look sweet too!

I'm growing one of these atm and she isnt doing so well, the plant seems too have slowed in growth around day 26 - but it's only slightly smaller than yours at day 23, I've given it Cal mag and Bio bizz biogrow but are getting some yellowed tipped leaves so possible nute burn but will be giving a massive flush too see if I can fix it
the end.
