StellarCannaArtistry Today the seeds have arrived 😍
I can't believe how big one of them is 😱
On Monday, we'll start with the germination 🌱
A huge thank you again to
Khalifa Genetics 💚
And I wish all the other participants a good grow!

StellarCannaArtistry The germination went smoothly within 2 days 🌱
Since my final pots/tent are not ready yet, the larger seedling went into Plagron Light Mix for now, about a 500 ml pot.
The other seedling will be a little experiment in mineral substrate. This consists of lava, pumice, and zeolite. More info to follow 🏼♀️

StellarCannaArtistry The larger seedling was allowed to move into a 25 l AutoPot with 20 liters of Living Soil (hemp soil from Sonnenerde) + additional perlite. At this stage, it’s still being watered by hand. For watering, I used a tap water osmosis mix 🌱💧
For the second plant, I spontaneously changed my plans again. I actually wanted to use only purely mineral substrate with drip irrigation.
Now it has become a wick irrigation system with Lechuza Veggie Pon + additional lava, pumice, and zeolite.
Additionally, this plant received a very special pot from me 🧞♂️
When watering, I may have gone a bit overboard. I still need to get used to the shape of the pot...
The thought behind the 2 different approaches:
The first plant is more focused on yield. I want to let it grow as naturally as possible and maybe do a bit of LST. Admiring it in its natural form.
For the second plant, it’s more about fun and experimenting 👩🏼🔬
With the small planting container, I hope for a bonsai growth. Through training, I want to change the growth form 💪🏼

StellarCannaArtistry Currently, I can't report anything exciting; unfortunately, not much has happened. The growth is still taking its time, but both plants are doing well.
At least the wick watering is working now, after I made one large hole instead of 2 separate ones.

StellarCannaArtistry Today is a sad day. I discovered the pre-flowering on the "larger" plant 😢
I was hoping it would take a bit longer. And that it could still grow.
On top of that, it seems a bit stretched, despite being 100w at a distance of 45 cm.
Also, it seems that the living soil is a bit too nutrient-rich for her, which is evident from the dark green coloring. Fortunately, there are no signs of burning. But that also explains the slow growth.
Now I can only hope for a good stretch. I've been watering with 2.5 liters of 50/50 osmosis water and tap water.
The smaller plant isn't flowering yet. So far, I'm also satisfied with the little one. The wick watering is still working well.

StellarCannaArtistry It's really a sad story with the bigger plant 😢😓 Pictures say more than words... Just because I was too lazy to add some seedling soil. But you learn from mistakes, and luckily I still have seeds from that strain. I'm already thinking about just starting the plant over again 🌱
Fortunately, everything is fine with the bonsai. It's showing slight overwatering and is now also entering pre-flowering. The training has begun 💪🏽
Watering continues with adjusted osmosis/tap water.
The lamp is now at a distance of 25 cm from the bigger plant and set to 65% at 200 watts.

StellarCannaArtistry I'm actually satisfied with the bonsai, but I keep having problems with overwatering. 2 wicks were too much for the little one.
With the "big" plant, I decided to stop the grow since it's not worth keeping 2 such small plants (3 plant rule) and considering the energy costs. I also noticed that the plant didn't root into the Living Soil at all, so it's clearly my fault now 😢. Additionally, I burned a few leaves with the LED.
Now I have space to maybe start over with the Frosty. But I think I'll go with photoperiod seeds again this time 😄. Automatics don't seem to be my strength; I uploaded a comparison picture of my photo FPF as well.

StellarCannaArtistry Slowly the purpling is starting 💜
Not much is happening now, except that the bud is slowly gaining mass. In the meantime, I've also added some flowering nutrients, Hesilicio + additives from Hesi.
The size of the plant was intentionally accepted; I like bonsais and wanted a little fun project 😀

StellarCannaArtistry Today there was a little photoshoot for the little Bonsai Lady 💜 The buds are continuing to gain mass. It probably won't be long now.
StellarCannaArtistry The bud tip is already ready for harvest. It will get a few more days so the rest can ripen a bit more 💪🏼💚 The trichome pictures are 2 days old. I even discovered a few pink/red trichomes. I also found a banana today, which I think is okay considering the stress and temperatures of the last few days!
StellarCannaArtistry Two days ago was the big harvest day, and I had to say goodbye 😢 I'm really going to miss checking on her every day...
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the result, but I would try a bonsai project with the FPF next time.
What I take away from this grow is that the FAF doesn't handle mistakes very well, or it can be hard to recover from them.
If you stick to the basics and avoid mistakes, it will perform great!
My tip: It's best to plant directly into a sufficiently large final pot. For substrate choice, use seedling soil/light mix + extra perlite. Optionally, incorporate Allmix into the deeper layers.
Protect from overwatering, water adequately but not too frequently.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test it yet because the plant needs to dry. However, her berry, sweet scent is already promising! Just like the sparkling trichomes ✨
The weight is just an estimate until the drying is complete...
Thanks for taking the time to follow my grow 💚😶🌫️🌱
Hello Stella,
I don't think you're necessarily doing a bad job with your grow. However, choosing such a small pot (2.5L) is not really ideal for an autoflowering strain, as it can significantly limit the plant's development.
That said, it was a good idea to experiment with the Magic Lamp as well. Technically, the Frosty's Purple Freak would be the perfect candidate to grow under that light, potentially developing into a sturdy and impressive bonsai-style plant.
How are things progressing at this stage?
@Khalifa_Genetics, I've now written 2 updates 😊 Thanks for your encouraging words! I've learned from it and now know that what works for one plant doesn't automatically work for the next. Next time, it's better to avoid all risks to achieve the best results and get to know the strain first!
You're actually right, and I shouldn't let the embarrassment get to me; I would be very happy about some seeds!
Could it be that you're too high on the "N"? The leaves are extremely dark... a little to no N towards the end really helps for thick buds and color 💜😘
@StellarCannaArtistry mine is now only getting PK 53/45. or rather all of my ladies in the last 3 weeks
But that takes a delicate touch like with a woman 😂
@StellarCannaArtistry the strain doesn't want any nutrients at all in the first weeks. Even my light nutes were too much as you can see. Had to flush 3 times and now I'm just using Dynomyco for now.
@MetropGrower, I had that with the photoperiod variant at the beginning too. I read somewhere that the auto variant is a bit hungrier, so I thought I'd give it a try 😁 Next time I'll use more Lightmix at the start 👍🏼
