First ever grow Pineapple Express

GrowersDream7 Used 2inch buffer of seedling soil for germination and bio bizz all mix at its base. Planted seed mistakenly at around 2cm pointy side up. Seed germination and sprout coming through took 3 days in its final pot no transferring so was surprised to see it show itself so early. I pre soaked soil before planting seed but unfortunately I have no photos from the first few days

GrowersDream7 Had a slight problem with leaves due to possibly too much nitrogen as they were hooking as you can see in photos. Assumed this was due to seed planted too deep and hitting the bio bizz hot soil too early. This was the end of week 2 since the sprout came through

GrowersDream7 She was around 10 cm this week so started lst. Watered 220ml also this week and moved the light up due to tacoing of the leaves to around 26 inches. In hindsight that was too far and reduced the extent of her growing for a day or two. She started producing undergrowth this week along with having the white pistils coming through. She responded very well to the training and within an hour or two when lights came back on she was already fully turned back towards the light

GrowersDream7 Still no nutrients this week due to hot soil. Gave her 500ml and more lst. Building multiple tops during her stretch for the next 2-3 weeks she’s starting move on a little this week. Getting exciting now 😊 moved the light back to 22 inches and she’s loving it. Will leave her couple days to leave lower future tops to catch up. She’s actually heading to early flower at the moment so by this time next week she should hopefully look completely different. Every time I move for lst I get a faint smell and it’s beautiful 🤩 I posted my week 4 a couple days early 🤦🏻 here’s another couple of photos

GrowersDream7 What a difference a week makes. The stretch is well and truly on. Minimal lst this week and there’s a slight smell when I open the tent. Used both grow and bloom this week of 1ml per litre. I think I’m actually in week 2 of flowering because the pistils started showing over 10 days ago so lowered humidity another 5points over the last few days. Looking forward to seeing what she looks like this time next week 😊 her sweet spot to the light I found is 20 inches. Slight defoliation to let more light through. Feeding her every 3-4 days and reducing grow while increasing bloom for next couple weeks

GrowersDream7 Stretch has stopped so now she’s starting to fill out and stack. Hopefully she’ll start putting on loads weight. Sugar leaves are starting to get covered and glistening. Smell still at a minimum and watering her every 3-4 days. I think I may have removed the soft ties a few days too early as the main top pushed ahead of the rest. I need some of the other branches to start thickening now as they look too small to hold any noticeable weight

GrowersDream7 Day 46. Defoliated yesterday to let more air and light through for bulking phase. She hasn’t been stunted I hope as I think I might have went too much on defoliating. Gave her 3lt of water no nutes to stop buildup of salts in soil. Had about 10% runoff. She’s starting to come along now so fingers crossed I don’t mess this up 😊 she’s responded well to little set backs before. She’s a strong little plant. I saw one tiny illuminous green bug walking/running quickly on soil yesterday but after watering but didn’t see anything else for awhile afterwards? If anyone has any advice please don’t hesitate to suggest

GrowersDream7 Day 54: increased bloom this week and slightly reduced grow. Smell still at minimal level. She has started producing orange pistils already even though she’s in her bulking phase is this normal to have as many as I do? I really hope she starts packing on a lot more weight. I think because I was seeing daily changes during stretch I’m not seeing much happening on a day to day basis the last week or so

GrowersDream7 Day 61: Flushed her 4 days ago with 3ltr plain water and fed today 9ml bloom in 3ltr water. She’s starting to swell the last few days and fill out. Smell is increasing now 😍 but not too intense yet. Didn’t want to defoliate this far into flowering incase I stunted her so I just hope light is getting to every bud site. I reckon another 2-3 weeks before she’s ready for the chop. My patience is being tested 😂 all good things come to those that wait I suppose

GrowersDream7 Day 67: she’s filling out slowly but surely but need her to fatten up more as she’s coming close to that window for harvest in another 1-2 weeks. A lot more orange pistils and frost on her than last week. Still no jewellers loupe yet so hoping I have that before harvest as I’m looking for maximum thc and not much amber, maybe 5-10% so would I need to do a staggered harvest? Would anyone have any suggestions as it will be my first ever harvest please feel free to comment

GrowersDream7 Day 76: smell has definitely increased now and she is filling out. Don’t know how much longer she will be maybe another 2 weeks by the looks of the amount of white pistils. Still haven’t jewellers loupe so can’t even check how clear or cloudy she is. She’s frosting a lot more and glistens when lights are out.

GrowersDream7 Day 82: she had a tough week of higher heat than she’s used to. Went as high as 32c at some stages considering she has been around 25c for weeks. Few leaves fading quickly but don’t know if that’s due to salt build up, soil still holding nitrogen due to under watering early on and the higher heat this last week. Buds still developing bud I think she’s foxtailing over the high vpd of over 2.3-2.5 with the heatwave. Hoping the cooler temps for the next week help with her finishing. She has some amber present maybe 2-3% and mostly cloudy so she’s close to harvest now maybe another week even though she does have white pistils on the tops. I’m not looking for couch lock. The smell of citrus and hints of pineapple from when I rub one of the leaves is very nice and strong. Can’t keep tent open for long as it fills the room and house. No nutrients going forward just water to flush her out

GrowersDream7 Day 86: harvest day 😍 Can’t wait to try her. She smells very tropical and very strong. She had mostly cloudy trichomes tiny amount of clear and around 5% amber which is what I was looking for even though she still did have few white pistils on top. Looking forward to seeing how she dries and not mess up this part after months of growing. Have jars on standby and mini hygrometers on the way for her cure. Thanks everyone here’s to my next grow
