First time having a fungus gnat issue! First I put out sticky pads (it has reduced them down can’t see many now) Second I used diatomaceous earth powder for to treat any eggs in top layer of soil. Thirdly I have bought pure neem oil with horticulture soap (used to emulsify) it says to apply without the light on. So will use tonight around the air pots. I think the airpots are an issue as the gnats have been hiding in the holes making it harder. Fingers crossed the plants and roots are not affected too much!

at this point is nothing to do much to do maybe add a little hydrogen peroxide to your water it will kill most of the gnats but for you next crop i would recommend brewing some organic tea to produce mycorrhizae i use seaweed extract +piranha /tarantula /voodoo juice + aerated water a little nitrogen (my own recipe)lol and for the burn tips it is mot defiantly Zinc but the (whitish color) is lack of nitrogen which organic tea would fix but not on the last 2 week but for the next crop 👌

Yass Queen ! Those burnt tips are still nutrient burn, probably just a touch less severe than last time or it could be a genetic/phenotype variation so it looks slightly different but it's the same thing. Pretty sure it's not Mg deficiency as this affects older leafs first and the yellowing starts between the veins of the leafs, and it doesnt look like a Zinc deficiency (which is exceedingly rare) . Just dial back the nutrients a touch and the problem will stop spreading after a few days to a week (reaction times for plants take a while - that's why) . Hope this helps ! 🚀

"Should I be giving nutes every watering?" No, there is still nutrients left in the soil (almost always). Gl :)

@TheGreenQueen420, so far you're not showing deficiencies , but yeah ALWAYS grow with cal mag, why? because these high-quality genetics are developed in lab conditions meaning they usually need more Mg and Ca than they can naturally absorb. Stick with it , you're doing great ! 👊

@CRiSPrGrow, yes thanks I watered today and brought the nutes down! I learnt previously it’s so easy to burn. I’ve also read somewhere I should be giving magnesium around this time in flower would you suggest that? Cheers!

Hello This is the exact reason why airpots are so bad. If you can transplant go for it if not Try and put yellow stickies to cover the top soil so if new born ones trying to get out they will get caught and also around the airpot escape holes then let the soil dry as much as you can and lower humidity if thats possible. gnats hate dry soil / climate and most will escape to the trap soon as it happen

@TheGreenQueen420,@bongbreath : for sure + I learned that the hard way, some folks take the soil and spread it out in the sun for a while before they pot their plants in it so that the bugs can either die or hatch and leave. I look for "horticulture grade" soil that's been steamed , usually I won't have any infestation with that

@TheGreenQueen420,Cool dude, btw gnats usually come from not so good soil mix source (most common in bagged mixed soil) larve eggs just stay there until they get the right climate to hatch.(your grow room) Try going for a different soil mix next time to eliminate that option:)

@bongbreath, yes I just did today and I am so glad I made the quick decision! Back to fabric pots! I just knew the airpots were making the issue worse with all them air holes for them to hide in! Cheers!

With LED lights they can take a bit of getting used to especially if your used to more traditional hid lighting (hps/mh).. Stick with it mate you'll get it dialed in 👍 With love from Humboldt County✌️ Kind regards Team-HSO..

hello friend, I wanted to congratulate you for the good job you are doing, keep it up! it all seems so uniform. regarding the gnats I wanted to recommend the rinho skin advanced nutrient, it is excellent not from burns and is useful for many things I still really recommend it. good luck!
