Chucky324 Hello. This is the germination report for these Ganja Farmer seeds. I soaked these seeds for 24 hours in 2 cups of RO water with a pinch of cinnamon and 4 drops of 30% hydrogen peroxide. The cinnamon is antifungal and has similar properties to cloning gel. The hp. cleans the water and adds oxygen too. It also breaks down/softens the inside membrane and makes it easier for the seed to slip out of it. All 3 seeds popped but only 2 made it up. I've got space in the greenhouse for these girls... This should be good... OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the first week of veg for these Gorilla Gelato seedlings. The little seedlings are doing good . They have some leaf mutations going on and they will usually grow out of it by the 3rd set. I'm giving some 1/2 strength food now, with about 1/4 of a tsp of Miracle Grow shake and feed on the soil about every 2 weeks or so. They still have the hand made, copper, stock holders on, so the top heavy little seedlings don't topple over and break their stems. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 1 and the beginning of week 2 of veg. Plant #1 still has some leaf deformities. They usually grow out of it by the 3rd set of leaves. I see it on more feminized seeds than I do on regular seeds. Which leads me to think the mix, that is sprayed on the females to turn them to feminized/male pollen donors... is a bit too strong. There is a bit of room between leaf sets, so these will be medium to large plants. The plants are doing good except for the funny leaves. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of veg. Plant #1 is putting out some weird leaves for a longer time that normal. I've seen this type of mutation before but the plant usually grow out of it by the 3rd set of leaves. Got any ideas what it is? I'm hoping the plant will grow out of it on it's own. I'll see how it is next week. The other plant is doing good. I'll have to top it soon. Looks like it's going to be a large-ish plant and will need training. I'll wait another week before I repot them. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of veg. These plants got topped and repotted and I did some light bottom LST while doing that. Still worried about plant #1. It's got some weird leaves going on. I'm starting to hope it's not a virus and will spread. 🤔 Plant #2 is doing good and looking normal. I'll clear some space on the greenhouse work bench and put these plants out there in the next couple of weeks. Started a new underground comic for your enjoyment. It's Weirdo #18... printed in 1993. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of veg. Man... Plant #1 has me stumped. Is it a mutation or a virus? I'll have to look it up and see. I thought it would have grown out of it by now.😕... Plant #2 looks great. It will be a few more weeks before I get these plants out to the greenhouse. It's still goes down to 8*c here at night and it's about 12*c at night in the unheated part of the greenhouse. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Hello. I have a plant that has had leaf problems from germination. In my Gorilla Gelato diary, it's Plant #1. Is this Cryptic Virus?... or, if not... what is it? Please help me to figure out what going on with this plant. The sister looks normal

Hey Chucky324, it is highly unlikely to be a cryptic virus as those are actually quite rare. Looking at the twisted growth and the way the leaves are behaving compared to the sister plant, this looks much more like a genetic mutation or perhaps a slight pH fluctuation that started early on. Since the other plant is doing fine under the same conditions, it’s probably just a quirky phenotype. As long as she keeps growing and doesn't show signs of a spreading infection, I wouldn't worry too much and just let her do her thing. Happy Growing Growmie🌱

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of veg. I posted a question about plant #1's leaves last week on the questions page... and the answers were... It's a Cal-Mag deficiency or A Mutation with 1 or saying it's tabaco mosaic and get it out of the tent quick. I gave a 1/2 tsp of www.wollallo.com powder, (check it out) it got lots of Cal-Mag in it and other good minerals. To see if the Cal-Mag helps... I might not keep plant #1 it's getting big and growing lopsided with the mutated leaves. Plant #2 is doing good and looking normal. OK. Be Great... Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of veg. OK.... My patient's has run out with this weird plant #1.... I'm going to scrap her and just grow her sister. Plant #2 is doing great, nice structure. It will be easy to train. I still have to clear a space in the greenhouse for her. I'm a bit behind because a deer got into one of my gardens and tramped around on the newly sprouted beds. I worked for 3 afternoons to heighten the fence so... hopefully... they won't get in to that garden the rest of the summer. OK. Be Great. Chuck.
