Chucky324 Hello. This is the first week of veg for this Banana Gold Rush Plant. The little seedling is doing good, growing good and looking good. It's got it's 3rd set of leaves out now, and most leaf mutations go away after they come out. Nice wide little leaves on this plant. I'm giving 1/2 strength nutrient when watering and about 1/4 tsp of Miracle Grow, shake and feed, on the soil every 2 weeks or so. OK. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 1 and the beginning of week 2 of veg. This plant is doing good. It was almost dry when I took the pic... and I'll water when I'm done here. I'm watering the seedling with 1/2 strength nutrients now. It seems to like it and is growing good. I'm hoping to get this plant out to the greenhouse next month. It was 2*c here last night and it was 12*c in the greenhouse this morning and it is 25*c in the greenhouse this afternoon. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of veg. This plant is doing good. It's got some little branches starting off the stem. I'm watering with 1/2 strength nutrient. I'll wait another week before I repot her, let the roots grow some more. Watered my peyote with some light flowering nutrient with some liquid seaweed, a few days ago, and I see some flowers starting. The cactus doesn't grow that quick and doesn't need a lot of nitrogen. It didn't get that cold here this winter and I didn't lose any to rot this year. OK Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of veg. The plant is looking good. I meant to repot this plant last week, but I got my veg garden up and going, After supper I went out to find a small pile of dirt the cat scraped up to hide her business, 🙄 and messed up a few rows of lettus and carrots. Well... she thinks it's there for her... isn't it? So I had to get the netting out and cover the beds up. Stupid Cat... I'll get this plant repotted for next week, and I'll photograph the next Weirdo underground comic book for next week too. This plant is still getting 1/2 strength nutrient with each watering. OK. Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of veg. This plant is looking good. Nice, dark green, normal, looking leaves. I topped and repotted this plant last week. I want to clean up the greenhouse work bench, and put this plant out there in the next couple of weeks. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of veg. This plant is doing good and... 😏... looking good. She's over her repotting shock and is growing again. Jumped up her food after the repotting and she's doing good. Good color, and the branches are taking off after the topping.... Really... Good.... OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Gave a 1/2 tsp of - www.wollammo.com - powder for a Cal-Mag boost, and it got lots of other great minerals in it too... Check it out. She's a little dry, so when I'm done here she will get a big drink. She's nice and dark green and liking her food. Hope she's a good one. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of veg. The plant is looking good and growing well. It's got a good shape and should be easy to train. Went to my local thrift shop and found a great air cleaner for thirteen .95 Can. It has those electrified metal plates that shock any organic matter the fan pulls through them. I bought 2 of them for my grow room and living room and it cost me around seven hundred canadian dollars about 25 years ago for them. So I was glad to find this one at a cheap price. I can smell the ionized air when I walk into the room. It works great. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of veg. The plant is doing great. I did some repotting last week and got them into bigger pots. Put in the tomato cage and pulled all the branches under the rung to spread it out. When I repotted I sunk the root ball as low as I could to get the bottom branches to the top of the soil. We are getting about 16.7 hours light, on the 48th latitude N, now, with it going to almost 18 hours, by Equinox, about June 21. OK. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. This plant is doing good. It's over it's transplant shock and is reaching up. We're going to get some heat this coming week. Could be up 35*c in the greenhouse this week. I've got to put up the shade cloth to try to cut a few degrees off that OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of veg. The plant is doing good. It's got a couple of bottom fanleaves going yellow. Going to have to take clones of this one before it flowers. It's quite sticky with the rub test. I let the paper Wasps live in a smaller greenhouse that have my cactus in it. They are very good for the garden bringing back lots of pests to the nest to feed their young. They are not very aggressive and mainly just stick to themselves. I can go in and out of that greenhouse and not get stung. They just fly around me. Fun to watch. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 11 and the beginning of week 12 of veg. The plant is doing good. It's been hot this week and she seems to do good in the heat. Got a couple of leaves going yellow on the very bottom, so I'll give a bit more food and maybe a little stronger food next watering. It's 32*c in here today. It's been a hot week here, but not like Europe. Man it's hot there. They say cooler and maybe some rain for the next week. Everything likes the rain this time of year. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the beginning of flowering. I've got a 10'x10' tent in the greenhouse going for another diary, and I'll put this plant into it to force it into flowering. The plant has reached the top rung of the tomato cage, so, that's when I usually force flowering. That's what I like... I took some clones from this plant, and it didn't have many side branches to chose from... It had some but not alot. I put my clones in a opaque ice cream bucket. With a thin plastic moveable lid. And a tsp of cinnamon mixed into the soil. A couple of inches on soil into the bottom and press the peat pellets about 1/3 into the unpacked soil. Cannabis like 90% to 95% rh for the first week and those domed plastic lids for the black trays let out too much rh out and the plants/clones wilts. Leave the light on for the first week too. Plants need to store their energy in their roots to sleep. So, with no roots, leave the light on. The second week you can give 80% to 85% rh, move the lid back a bit, and 6 hours of dark. Spray with 1/4 strength nutrient and use RO water for all your soaking and spraying. RO water is low in rot root fungus, so you have a better chance of succus. The plant is doing well and growing good. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of flowering. I don't know what happened?!? I made a diary entry last week and now it's not here?!? Strange stuff is going on on this site. ⚡🔱‍ Anyway... The plant is doing good and growing fine. I'm starting to see the flowers, and buds forming now. I see a few thrips marks here and there, I'll keep and eye on that. It gets put in the tent each night and put out each morning. It's 29*c in here today. Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of flowering. This plant is doing great. I've made clones of this plant. I see the resin is just starting to come out. Hope it turn out extraordinary, and probably will be coming UKHTA Seeds. Froze some pollen from this years summer run and I'll pollenate a branch on this plant this week. According to an article I read years ago, this plant can stay out at night, if I've forced it to flower after the summer solstice. The article was written for the Netherlands latitude. It said if a plant is forced to flower for 3 weeks it will stay in flower if you do it after the summer solstice. So if you force a photo plant to flower early you can also harvest early and hopefully avoid the WPM and Bud Rot. I live on the 48th latitude just a little south of the Netherlands latitude, so it will work. OK Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of flowering. Man what a marathon. Did a big harvest last week and didn't want to stop till it was done... So I didn't report last week. Since I was finished the harvest... I vacuumed in here, and brought the 3 plants from the northside of this greenhouse, and put them in here. This plant is growing well and looking good. It's got a few thrips marks on some of the lower leaves. Still thinking about harvesting around Sept 1 or so, unless there's a problem with pests or mold.
