PapaTerps Toad Venum Automatic - Growers Choice
This is a popular strain at the moment, I've never had it and I wanted to try it, so I've decided to throw this into my current grow! I know it's not the original "Becky" genetics, but this was the only seed I could get š¤£ you're all more than welcome to follow along! I haven't fully decided what pot to grow it in yet, either a 1L indoor or 5L outdoor air pot, we'll see! I have the photoperiod version also, which I'll grow in June, so I'll probably run it in a 1L.
Day 1 - seed dropped into a glass of water - she will be left in here until she develops a nice taproot š¤š»
Day 5 - seed has produced a small taproot, she hasn't grown much, but I think she's okay to move from the cup to a starter pot! So I've dropped her into the soil and put her into the tent - let's hope she continues her germination therešš»
Day 7 - seedling has appeared from the soil š She is now working on developing her first set of leaves šŖš»
Day 16 - she is big enough to be moved into her main grow pot, so I've potted her in a 1L Air Pot - she will spent the rest of her lifecycle here šš»

šø She has entered bloom!š White pistils have appeared in the pits of her stems and she has started to stretch.
āļøThis week, I removed her two lowest nodes as well as her starter leaves and a couple of fan leaves to lollipop her, just before she fully begins her stretch, as these nodes will just be too far from the light source! Other than that, no more work, she is in stretch phase of bloom now, so I won't be doing any more work on her until she finishes the stretch š

šø She has started her stretch pretty much right after the last diary entry and has shot up to triple her initial size! She has also started to develop her bud sites. She is a mono-stemmed plant, but she still has four large side-stems which should produce nice flower as well as the main stem.
āļøNo work on her this week, as she is in her stretch phase - I don't tend to perform any training or defolation during this phase.

šø Shes into week 6 of bloom now, she has focused on bulking her flower and maturing. She has about two recommended flowering weeks left before harvest, so from her next feeding, I will start to reduce her nutrients. Her flower is looking really good, although it hasn't got that much mass to it, but what's there is absolutely covered in trichomes, so I have a feeling this one is going straight to the press to make rosin! Her aroma has also started to present itself, with vibrant fruity/menthol scent up front, and a soft cream finish - very pleasant, like nothing I've seen.

šø Week 8 of Bloom and she has completed her growth phase and is now maturing - a large portion of her trichomes have started to turn cloudy, which signals to me that harvest is approaching, so I have brought her into flush, so we should expect this lady to be ready for harvest pretty soon!š»

This one carries beautiful aromas and has a nice structure, but suffered in temperatures above 23, which left her porous and her trichome coverage less than expected - I'm not sure if I'll use this breeder again, as their genetics haven't suited my grow environment. I've given her an 8/10 because of this. Smoke report to follow.

šæ No feeding this week, she was left to dry back in preparation for harvest šš»
āļø I've removed all of her fan leaves and some of her larger sugar leaves. I then chopped her at the base and hung her to dry in a dark cool environment with temperatures between 19-21 degrees Celsius and relative humidity set at 58-61% šš»
šø Week 9 of Bloom and into her 13th week from seed and her trichomes have started to turn from milky to amber and her pistils have all dried and turned brown. So today is harvest days š
