CountDoobie . 22/03/2026 One 16L (4gal) fabric pot is filled with Biobizz Lightmix to determine the volume needed. This soil is the transported into a bucket with lid and mixed with ~10% (by volume) vermiculite. After everything is mixed well, approx. 3 litres of soil are put in the fabric pot. The remaining soil in the bucket is then mixed with 75gr Biotabs Startrex. After it is mixed thoroughly, the fabric pot is filled with 5cm layers, which are very lightly compressed by tapping the pot a few times on the table (to prevent furter compression during waterings). This is repeated until all the soil is in the pot. If the pot is not filled to the edge, non mixed Biobizz lightmix is used to top it off. Two Biotabs Fertiliser tablets are pushed 10cm deep in the soil, mirrored to each other, midway between the centre and the edge of the pot. This is repeated for a total of four pots. All four pots are placed inside the growing tent on top of a grate to let the bottom of the pot breathe. In the centre of each pot has been made a small 10cm diameter hole, in which ~4gr Biotabs Mycotrex is sprinkled. After which the hole is resealed with soil. Each pot received 1L of a Bactrex (1gr/L) & Orgatrex (10ml/L) solution. After a few hours, a small new hole is made (in the centre) for the seed. ~1gr Mycotrex is sprinkled in this hole and the seed is placed on top, after which the hole is sealed with (non compressed) soil. Each seeding location is sprayed moist and a clear plastic cup is placed upside down on top to create a humid environment. 28/03/2026 All four seeds have sprouted. Three already shed their seed husk (with a little help). One seed has pushed its taproot to the surface, instead of the its top. By pushing a little extra soil on it and very carefully firming it in place, the seed is seated a little better. 29/03/2026 Three of the four plants got its cup removed to improve their air quality. The fourth plant (bottom left) still has its cup to give it some extra time to recover.

CountDoobie . 30/03/2026 The front-left pot has sprouted, but didn't make it unfortunately (this is the seed that pushed the taproot to the surface). To not waste the used Biotabs products, a new RQS Sherbet Queen auto seed has been planted to replace the failed Quick One seed. A small hole is made where visual mycorrhiza threads are present, in which the seed was planted. The soil was moistened with a spray bottle and the clear cup is placed on top. 31/03/2026 All four pots received 500ml of tap water. A wet towel has been hung inside the grow tent to increase RH% (less than 40% previously). 01/04/2026 Plant #1 (top-left): The cotyledon are almost at the soil level and hasn't really grown. This plant also has a bit of a greyish tint. Plant #2 (top-right): This plant is growing really well. Plant #3 (bottom-right): This plant is growing well too, but a bit slower than #2. Plant #4 (bottom-left): The seed hasn't showed yet, but it has only been 48 hours so far. 02/04/2026 Plant #1 doesn't appear to have changed much, almost as if frozen in time. Plant #2 is developing very well and has grown visibly bigger everyday. Plant #3 is slowly catching up to #2. 03/04/2026 Plant #1, #2 and #3 have been sprayed with Biotabs BoomBoom Spray. Plant #2 received 500ml water. Plant #4 appears to have sprouted, but after that stopped trying to surface. It is likely that there is some sort of harmful fungus (like pythium) in the soil that damaged both the first and now this seed. 05/04/2026 Plant #3 received 500ml water. Plant #1 (top-left) hasn't changed in 7 days. This plant is considered lost and is carefully dug out to investigate. It appears that everything below the soil line has rotted away and a dark brown stump is left where roots should be. It is quite remarkable that everything above the soil line appeared to be alive (mostly). Plant #4 (bottom-left), the new Sherbet Queen seed, has unfortunately been lost as well. The taproot that popped out of the seed was dark brown, which somewhat confirms the pythium hypothesis. Plant #2 is growing fast and the second node is already developing well. Plant #3 is still catching up, but growing well.

CountDoobie . 06/04/2026 Because Plant #1 & #4 are terminated, plant #2 will be called #1 and #3 will be called #2, starting today. Plant #1 received 500ml of tap water. 07/04/2026 Today has the new grow light been delivered: the MIGRO ARAY 250S. The previous grow light has been taken down, and the new one is installed in the tent. Following the manual of the manufacturer, the light has been hung ~40cm from the top of the plant, dimmed to ~100 watt. 08/04/2026 The light has been dimmed further to ~80 watt, because the plants where showing small signs of light stress. 09/04/2026 Both plants received 750ml of tap water. The light is raised until the height was ~40cm from the canopy again. 10/04/2026 Both plants are sprayed with Biotabs BoomBoom Spray (5ml/L) 11/04/2026 The Lux-meter (Uni-T UT383) has arrived today. The lux-meter is used to determine the ppfd of the grow light and the dimmer is adjusted until the ppfd was ~400 at the canopy (previously this was ~250). 12/04/2026 The plants showed very slightly curled leaf edges, but have fully adjust now and are loving the light.

CountDoobie . 13/04/2026 The two pots in which the failed seeds were, are reused today for two RQS Special Queen 1 auto seeds (see my other diary). To make sure the existing plants receive enough light, while also making sure the new seedlings don't get too much light, the existing plants are placed on top of a box and the grow light is hung 40cm above this. The Quick One plants now receive a ppfd of ~400. 14/04/2026 Both plants received 750ml of tap water. 15/04/2026 Both plants are hooked up to a Blumat Tropf system (with shared reservoir) today. Each plant has their own Tropf sensor (a.k.a carrot), with two drippers each. Each dripper is placed where a Biotabs tablet is located, to make sure these stay moist. Each sensor is first calibrated by placing the cap (without the ceramic cone) where it will be when installed, and adjusting the knob until a single droplet is hanging (NOT falling) from the tube. The corresponding arrow is marked and the knob is closed further by two arrows. After this, the whole system is assembled following the instruction manual and all the air is cleared from the system. The carrot is pushed in the soil and taken out again. This hole is filled with (sterilised) soil with no perlite/vermiculite, to make sure the sensor will only be in contact with soil for proper functioning. The sensor is pushed into this soil, compressing the soil around it halfway through, before pushing it to its final depth. When positioned correctly, the drippers are attached to the carrot. Each sensor is watered with ~100ml to settle the soil around it and make sure it is moist. 16/04/2026 Both plants are sprayed with Biotabs BoomBoom Spray (5ml/L). 19/04/2026 The Tropf sensor on plant #2 has been triggered today, turning on the drippers. Although the soil was still a little too dry. On plant #1 the sensor still hasn't triggered. Because of these reasons, both sensors have their knob adjusted by one arrow clockwise (closed), one arrow further than the marked arrow. The drippers on both plants started dripping after this. The fan leaves and branching of the first node have been pruned on plant #1, because these don't really develop in to usable buds.

CountDoobie . 20/042026 The box, on which the plants are sitting, is flipped over, lowering the plants by ~15cm. This means that the height of the grow light is 40cm from the canopy of plant #1. To compensate for this, the dimmer of the grow light is turned up. The ppfd is ~455 for plant #1 and ~400 for plant #2. 21/04/2026 Plant #1 is showing the first pistils, signalling its transition to flowering. 22/04/2026 Plant #2 is showing the first pistils as well. Both plants got sprayed with Biotabs BoomBoom Spray (5ml/L). 24/04/2026 The grow light is turned up. This means that plant #1 receives a ppfd of ~550, and ~500 for plant #2. Started LST on plant #1, to spread the lower branches a little, so the centre receives more light. 25/04/2026 The LST on plant #1 proved to be too aggressive. The branches on the third node have started to split from the main stem. Adjusted the LST to remove the load on the tear, to prevent it from getting worse. Slightly started twisting (not supercropping) the main stem, to reduce the shadow effect of the top leaves on the lower branches. 26/04/2026 It appears that the plants are receiving too much water from the Blumat system. At first it was thought that the plants weren't receiving enough water because the leaves were drooping. Because of this, the system was adjusted repeatedly to increase the moisture in the soil. But the leaves started drooping more after this. Indicating that the plants were most likely being overwatered. The soil under the drippers was constantly moist, and sometimes even wet. Adjusted the system to release a lot less water. Plant #1 is ~28cm Plant #2 is ~15cm

CountDoobie . 27/04/2026 Two fan leaves are pruned, to let more light get to lower leaves, on plant #2. 28/04/2026 Plant #1 has grown so much that the distance to the light was only 25cm. Because of this, the box raising the plants has been removed. The grow light is adjusted to 40cm from the highest canopy. Plant #2 has been placed on a box to make its canopy the same height as #1. Plant #1 receives a ppfd of ~600. Plant #2 receives a ppfd of ~550. A few fan leaves have been pruned on plant #2, to increase light penetration. 29/04/2026 Both plants received 1L of Biotabs Bio PK5-8 (10ml/L). Both plants are sprayed with BoomBoom Spray, 30min before lights on. 30/04/2026 A few more fan leaves are pruned on plant #2. 02/05/2026 Plant #1 has stretched a lot this week and is ~50cm tall. The grow light had to be raised again to maintain the 40cm distance from the canopy. Plant #2 is ~25cm and more like a bush. The top most fan leaves have been pruned on plant #2, to slow down the main branch and keep an more even canopy. It has been very hot today (+6C compared to other days) and both plants drank a lot, with 2 or 3 litres divided over both plants.

CountDoobie . 04/05/2026 Both plants received 1L of Bactrex (1gr/L) & Orgatrex (20ml/L). The first node has been pruned on plant #2, because these weren't going to develop properly. 05/05/2026 The Blumat system didn't seem to work properly and was non-stop dripping. Therefore the system has been removed on both plants and reinstalled as if it was the first time (re-do everything). The most probable cause for malfunction was the fact that the reservoir was shut for a few days (by accident) and the sensors sucked air inside. This also showed when the system was removed, both sensors had air pockets in them. 06/05/2026 On plant #1, removed the first 1/4 of the plant, because these were too low to develop properly. Removed a few branches on plant #2, which where overshadowed by the canopy. The Blumat system appears to be working properly again. 07/05/2026 Plant #1 appears to finally be finished with stretching and is almost 60cm. Plant #2 appears to have entered its last stretching phase. 08/05/2026 Plant #1 is still crawling ever closer to those 60cm (now 58cm). 10/05/2026 The buds on plant #1 have started bulking up and the first visible trichomes have appeared. This plant has become an actual beast (for my experience) with a height of 60cm. Plant #2 looks like it's still stretching a little, but has reached a height of 41cm so far.

CountDoobie . 11/05/2026 Both plants received 500ml of Bio PK5-8 (10ml/L). Removed some fan leaves on plant #2, to improve airflow through the canopy. 12/05/2026 Both plants received 500ml Bio PK5-8 (10ml/L). 14/05/2026 Plant #2 appears to be done with stretching. 15/05/2026 Around 50% of the pistils, on plant #1, are turning orange in the tips. The buds are bulking up quickly. The fan leaf stems and main stem of the plant have gotten a deep red colour. Since the plant looks very healthy overall, this red colour is most likely sunscreen for the bright grow light. Plant #2 has grown a lot in the last week, but appears to be really finished stretching. The buds on this plant are starting to gain mass as well. 16/05/2026 The Blumat system is working nicely on plant #1, but on plant #2 the system appears to be malfunctioning. The soil is much too moist, and no matter how much I adjust the sensor, it is releasing too much water. Plant #2 is showing signs of overwatering again. 17/05/2026 Plant #1 is 60cm tall. Plant #2 is 50cm tall.

The soil of plant #2 has compacted quite a bit after the Blumat system was turned off for this plant. On top of that, the root zone is quite dense even up until just below the surface. Because of this it is quite difficult to test the soil for moisture content.

Removed all the fan leaves that were aged, or significantly blocked air flow through the canopy. There were a lot of yellowed, wilted leaves on plant #2. This is most likely caused by the hand watering, letting the soil dry further, compared to an automatic system like Blumat. 05/06/2026 Plant #2 received ~1.5L of tap water. 07/06/2026 Plant #1 has produced very bulky buds. This single plant has most likely more than any previous harvest totalled. The trichomes on this plant are all cloudy, and almost 5% is amber. It will probably be harvested in the next week. Plant #2 doesn't has as bulky buds as plant #1, but still has more than any previous plant ever had. All though all trichomes are cloudy on plant #2, there are almost no amber coloured yet.

if one plant is not developing as i like it, i dig her ou, cover the hoel with aloe ( fresh leaf juice) and putting her under a dome- mostly the roots are not wet enough ) and i do some foliage spraying-----sometimes i cut a piece of aloe and put the seedling into, so the roots are growing into the cut of the leaf
