Miketama Auto Purple Opium by Divine Seeds
I want to start this diary with a genuine thank you to Divine Seeds. Growing the Black Opium Auto last season and receiving 2nd place in the Global Autoflower Competition meant a lot to me. It was unexpected and appreciated more than I can say. That experience made me want to stay in the Divine Seeds family and explore what else this lineup has to offer, which is exactly how I ended up with a pack of Purple Opium Auto in my hands.
I also want to send a quiet thank you to whoever voted for my outdoor Divine Seeds diaries in the Grow Diaries Global Award. I landed somewhere in the top 20, not a spectacular result, but knowing that a handful of people took the time to vote for my work genuinely touches me. So if you’re reading this…thank you, from the heart.
Now, the strain. Auto Purple Opium is a cross between Divine Seeds’ own Opium — one of their flagship creations — and a mysterious Purple variety whose genetics are kept secret. The result is a 90% indica autoflower, capable of reaching 120–130 cm THC sits at 26%, and yields indoors can reach 700–950 g/m². 😳
The aroma builds on the classic berry notes of the Opium line, now enriched with a sour-sweet grape scent inherited from the Purple parent. The effect is deeply physical -heavy, long-lasting, and quietly sedating, with the mind settling into a pleasant stillness rather than stimulation.
After the Black Opium experience, I’m genuinely curious to see how this purple sister behaves. Let’s find out together.

Produttiva veloce e super aromatica

Miketama However, the final look was a total curveball. A severe heatwave hit the grow room right when the buds were already fully formed. Being an Indica-dominant strain with Afghan heritage, she really didn't tolerate that sudden intense heat. To cope with the temperature, she went into survival mode and triggered heavy late-stage foxtailing. Even though the weight was already there, the buds lost their typical Indica compactness and started stretching out with endless new white pistils, creating an airy, Sativa-like silhouette. It definitely cost her a few grams of extra density, but the sheer volume is impressive.
Interestingly, I ran this plant alongside a Sativa-dominant strain in the same tent, and they completely traded places structurally. You can check out how the heat impacted her tent mate in my Pablo Escobar Auto Diary.
Key Lesson: Dense, cool-loving Indica genetics like this one will be saved for winter cycles from now on to avoid late-season density loss. Still, with 570g wet, she is going to provide an incredible, heavy evening stash! 🍁💨

Happy harvest! 😍
I did a genetic cross project and named it OG Cream. I'd be happy if you check it out. 👽🙏🔥
I'm currently testing the new cross, and I'm really excited to see how it turns out!
