LazyLeaf Photo from right before the flip. Did LST on it, no topping. Had issues with humidity due to a failure of my humidifier and waiting for the replacement. Grew great despite it all.

LazyLeaf Pre-flowering, filled the net completely with the stretch. Just trained it a bit more by placing the branches under the net before the stretch to allow for more even tops which I, apart from 2 taller ones, achieved almost perfectly.

LazyLeaf Bud sites have formed and are filling in quite nicely. Based on previous experience with the strain we are now in the final stretch. About 4-5 more weeks until harvest, and in the mean time they should fatten up quite well.

LazyLeaf Nothing much to say here, growing steady, leafs are slowly turning purple and some are starting to fade away slowly. From previous experience the buds should start fattening up now. A few more weeks until harvest.

LazyLeaf Progressing as planned. Buds are getting thicker and thicker and gaining on that purple color more and more. Some minor defoliation here and there to remove the yellow leaves that the plant is using up. Other than that she's looking good. The only thing I have to say that is surprising me a bit is that it might actually finish pretty fast. The first seed I grew of the same strain absolutely refused to finish. This one looks like it's on a war path.

LazyLeaf Well growmies, this one is nearly finished, but not in a way I hoped. The top two branches that reached higher than the others are foxtailing - I caught it a bit too late to stop it right at the start. The light was too close to them. First time using this light so valuable experience gained for the next grow. No real harm done thankfully. Checking the trichomes makes it seem she'll finish way ahead of schedule. 20% of them are clear still, the rest are milky. I think a week tops and we're done, which will be 7 weeks of flowering, which is pretty nuts.

LazyLeaf I said that I am expecting a harvest this week, but I was wrong. The plant slowed down a bit, so it seems like we'll be hitting the breeder's estimated time almost exactly. I'd say about 15% of clear trichomes on all buds, so it won't be long from now.
As for the foxtailing, it might not have even been my fault as much as I originally thought. Considering that the environment is stable and the only issue I could see was the light being too low to cause it, it doesn't explain why the lowest, shaded buds are semi-suffering from it as well. I think I might have just lost the genetic lottery here a bit. But as stated previously, just a minor inconvenience, nothing insanely drastic that would influence the outcome too much.
Easy to grow, resilient to training and overall a strong plant.

LazyLeaf Harvest day has come. I'm marking it at week 8 since tomorrow would be 8 weeks of flowering, but the trichomes signaled she was ready now. This is always both a happy and a sad day.
No wet weight because I use a different drying method than most (drying the whole plant for the first couple of days).
Honest opinion - was my second grow of this strain, under a new light. Easy to grow, resilient to training and overall a strong plant. Had issues with foxtailing, still don't know if it was due to too much light or just bad luck with genetics (leaning towards the latter as even the lower buds had some minor foxtailing). Definitely the most surprising part this time around was the fast flowering it exhibited.
The scales will have the final word, but right now it's time to focus on nailing the drying process.
This was also my last seed of this strain. Considering how many other strains I want to grow I don't think I will be returning to it any time soon. Until we meet again Bluehell.
