Canna-Lytiker Since the little ones are growing in the "shade," they have naturally stretched quite a bit. We'll compensate for that at the end with soil and fill them up. If it becomes necessary to support them, I will step in. There's still some time before the two go outside, so they can develop into strong seedlings.
Let's see how big they get by then!

Canna-Lytiker Not much has happened. We’re growing diligently and have gotten new leaves. On Friday, the cozy time in the tent will be over. The AI-Grow will be harvested, and the tent will be needed for drying. So, for about a week, it’ll just be sunlight from the balcony. Once the drying is done, I’ll be starting 2 photoperiod strains (Radical Juice and Kushberry Moonrocks) and one autoflowering strain for my balcony, which will go out there during the Ice Saints. The two photoperiod strains will then be brought into the tent at the beginning to mid-August, depending on the weather, and switched to 12/12.
Until then, let it grow!

Canna-Lytiker After the drying of the last round was done, the Fat Banana and Somango were allowed to move back into the tent. The nights are still partly frosty. So, we are waiting for the Ice Saints before moving to Grandma's! Until then, the root ball can develop nicely. 💪

Canna-Lytiker You can definitely tell I'm not fertilizing and the nutrients are lacking. This weekend I'm heading to the garden. Until then, I might give a little shot of S&R 5in1.
It also seems like one leaf was infested with thrips. Both plants have received pest control as a precaution.
So starting next week, there will be pictures from outside!
Canna-Lytiker Ohh Scheiße! Was ist hier nur passiert??? Einfache Antwort - OPA!
25L Stofftöpe, Biobizz All Mix, Biobizz Düngepalette(Reste) und Schädlingsfrei.
No Pain - No Gain

Canna-Lytiker Ohh ohh weh.... The Fat Banana doesn't look much better after 1 week.... Aphid infestation, leaf damage, and probably a nutrient lock-out....
New leaves haven't really grown. The top had burned new leaves... Topping - so the plant puts its energy into the fresh upcoming shoots... They were visible... So something is still happening in growth...
Grandma has been watering regularly with the rising heat. That was my biggest concern, that Grandma would forget the plants. 😬
The way the Fat Banana looks, I’ll be stopping by every 2-3 days to water myself. Maybe with some stuff against the invaders. 👊
I hope that with some intensive care, it will bounce back. It's not meant for yield anyway, but for fun!
😇

Canna-Lytiker Well, what can I say... I don't think it's going to get any better and we're going to have a little dead candidate...
If something has happened, it's something so minuscule that you can't see it. The basic idea is to wait until mid-June, and if she hasn't pulled through by then, we'll swap the nice lady for an autoflowering one and wrap up the diary here...

Canna-Lytiker Pictures speak a thousand words. The soMango has clearly made it. The Fat Banana, well, it doesn't look so good for her.
That's why I've come up with a wicked experiment. Yes, I'm popping an autoflowering seed from Fastbuds Apple Strudel and throwing it in the pot with the Fat Banana!
You could also call it the Hunger Games - may the better plant win!

Canna-Lytiker I shit on the wall. Seeds popped and transplanted on Wednesday. And behold, without great expectations, a new seedling stretches its head towards daylight.
May the hunger games of the plants begin!

Canna-Lytiker The new life is finding its way, and the presumed dead are returning to life. The war of the plants is inevitable.
Yesterday, I freed the Fat Banana from its burdens and discovered that there are indeed a few signs of life slumbering there.
But this probably won't help her anymore, as the Apple Strudel is starting to feel comfortable, spreading out, and picking up speed.
Even the first summer storms have treated all the plants really well. Well, let's see what the Fat Banana does by the end of summer.

Canna-Lytiker Tot believed live longer - what's going on now, competition? You know, competition seems to invigorate business here as well. The Fat Banana is slowly fighting its way back to life.
But it looks like that won't help much. Because the Apple Strudel is starting to really pick up speed.
Let's see how the plant war continues 💪🏼

Canna-Lytiker Here, they are growing like crazy. The lively competition seems to work wonders, and we'll see who ultimately comes out on top.
The Apple Strudel should soon start showing the first signs of pre-flowering. Unfortunately, I wasn't at Grandma's this Sunday. The photos are from last Thursday. So I can't say how it looks right now.
Since I'll be busy this week, I won't be able to drop by, which means Grandma has to do everything on her own. But I think it will work out just fine. No worries about watering since it's rainy weather this week.
Let's see how the plant war continues.
Soon you can also follow the plant war on YouTube 🏻
And, check out my growmie - there's always some escalation going on with him:

Canna-Lytiker You can already see that something has changed. I'm no longer here under my private name, but with the name you can also find on YouTube. The channel is brand new and complements the grow diaries.
Here, you'll always know in advance what's going on with the plants; on YouTube, we have a one to two-week delay. However, there are things to see there that I don't show here.
Back to the plant war...
The attack has started, the war is in full swing, and the pre-flowering has begun. The app is cool and starting to pick up speed. But the Fat Banana is holding its ground well. Considering it was almost dead, it has really caught up.
What will be exciting soon is that the app needs flowering nutrients, and the Fat Banana doesn't really need them 🙃🤡
Definitely don't miss the YouTube special on this!

Canna-Lytiker The Apple sturdel is going full throttle! The stretch is in full swing and has surpassed the Fat Banana in size. It can grow as strong as it wants! The Fat Banana is still doing well, though. The war invigorates the business.... You can find more on YouTube 👌

Canna-Lytiker Yeah, it seems the stretch of the Apple Strudel is done.... But she still managed to surpass the Fat Banana in size - well, until the Fat Banana stretches. But so far, there are no signs of pre-flowering. The pests aren’t going away either - the Somango doesn’t care at all, she’s pest-free....
We still have a slight nutrient deficiency.... Well, grandma will learn!

Canna-Lytiker the Apple Strudel is diligently producing resin. but really nothing is getting dense here. I guess the Fat Banana is now in charge! She's taking everything for herself, as she keeps growing vigorously.
it's getting exciting!

Canna-Lytiker the Fat Banana keeps growing and growing... it feels like it's just been pushing ever since the Apple Strudel joined in.
just like with the Somango, the first signs of flowering are visible. I'm curious about the stretch here too.
the Apple got some nutrients this week. you can definitely tell. a bit frostier but still a bit airy in terms of density 🤷🏼 Anyway, Grandma is still happy about it!
the war of the plants is definitely entering the next round!
@Stimpson, let's see what the Fat Banana says about PK 13/14.... And let's see if the Apple Strudel stays safe from mold. In the end, Grandma doesn't care anyway, it's just the first grow to learn from😇
