Canna-Lytiker Not much has happened. We're growing diligently and have gotten new leaves. On Friday, the cozy time in the tent will come to an end. Then the AI-Grow will be harvested, and since the tent is needed for drying, it'll be just sunlight from the balcony for about a week. Once the drying is done, I'll be starting 2 photoperiod strains (Radical Juice and Kushberry Moonrocks) and one autoflowering strain for my balcony, which will go out there around the Ice Saints. The two photoperiod strains will then be brought into the tent at the beginning to mid-August, depending on the weather, and switched to 12/12. Until then, let it grow!

Canna-Lytiker After the drying of the last round was done, the Fat Banana and Somango were allowed to move back into the tent. The nights are still partially frosty. So, we're waiting for the Ice Saints before moving to Grandma's! Until then, the root ball can develop nicely. 💪

Canna-Lytiker You can definitely tell I'm not fertilizing and the nutrients are lacking. This weekend I'm heading to the garden. Until then, maybe I'll give a little boost with S&R 5in1. So starting next week, there will be pictures from outside!

Canna-Lytiker Move - in the morning sunshine, we went to Grandma's. Two years ago, I had already prepared a spot here, but this time 2 holes should be enough for me. As can be seen in the first picture, the compost heap in the background, with the nettles, promises a lot from the location. The last picture is in the afternoon after the move. She seems to have coped really well! Since the Fat Banana is the smaller one, Grandma is allowed to keep this one in the fence. I'm curious to see what the plant does up close to the compost!

Canna-Lytiker Ohh shit! What has happened here??? Simple answer - GRANDPA! Grandpa deemed the place inappropriate... Grandma had little say in the matter. In short, Grandpa wanted to mow the lawn there and before he killed the plants, he dug them up and put them in a pot.... Ouch! Accordingly, the two ladies looked like this on Sunday... No growth, nutrient deficiency, and pests... Well, I thought to myself, what is the best solution so that Grandma also gets something out of it...? Right - we are going to make it a bit more serious now 😂 25L fabric pots, Biobizz All Mix, Biobizz fertilizer palette (leftovers) and pest-free. Also a new pair of scissors for Grandma, which is only for the ladies, and let's get to work! You can see the result in the pictures. During repotting, it was noticeable that I preserved the root ball that I had planted... for both ladies. Well. I would say the Somango handled it all super well! Therefore, I took the liberty of cutting off her head as well. No Pain - No Gain We removed the unsightly leaves and ohh wonder - Sexy Lady is back! Now she is mobile, safe from the lawn mower, and has a fantastic sunny spot, in soil that should be sufficient for the next 4 weeks. And if needed - Right! Fertilize, put back in, and store 😇 And not to forget... Grandma had to watch and mimic the Fat Banana 😎

Canna-Lytiker The Somango seems to have handled the ordeal super well. Robust is a great word for this Somango. Still, you can see some deficiencies, but with a bit of continuous care, it should continue to grow normally. At least there was no pest infestation here. Maybe that was her advantage over the Fat Banana. During the next care round, I will also take a pH meter with me and check what the pH value of the watering water says.

Canna-Lytiker The soMango has definitely made it... She's definitely over the hill and is growing gently. I’ve done a little care on her and freed her from pests. Watered her lovingly and nothing else. Grandma will continue to take care of the watering. But what needs to be said about the watering water is that the pH value is 8.3. Since we really only have fun and excitement for Grandma here, we’re skipping adjusting the watering water. Still, I’m showing everything about this plant. Maybe Grandma will get to enjoy and try the upcoming auto-flowering. 🙃

Canna-Lytiker I would almost say we have a survivor! Considering I haven't been around at all these last few days, Grandma apparently did a really good job. My little cure for the two ladies seems to have worked wonders on the Somango. Since the Fat Banana seems to have kicked the bucket or will soon, I have another seed germinating and will plant it with her once it has sprouted. May the stronger plant win. At the same time, I’ll show Grandma what low-stress training means and maybe top her again together. Once again, robust is apparently not even the word! 😅

Canna-Lytiker Yes, not much care from me... Bad weather as it should be in Germany, and yet the plant is doing well and has recovered. During my last visit, I thinned it out a bit. As you can see from the new photos of Grandma, she handled it super well again and has put out new productive branches. On Wednesday, I will be giving her a little treatment with my small bio hammer. And I'll also check what the plant war is doing. 🤡

Canna-Lytiker It's all going smoothly with the growth of the Somango. A few small bite marks on the leaves that I can't really identify. Other than that, it's thriving. If you ask the AI, it could be cicadas, because I can rule out thrips; that's what I looked for. It seems like it has handled the stress really well and is showing it with strong, fresh leaves. There could still be a lot to come by the end of summer. 💪🏼

Canna-Lytiker The soMango - yes, it has made a decent jump upwards. On Wednesday, we will thin it out a bit. Other than that, there’s really not much to tell here. We did a little neem oil shower to prevent further munching attacks. The holes seem to be from cicadas. And it has also gained a bit more up top. What might be interesting is that there’s a lively soil life under the soMango.

Canna-Lytiker What's there to say here except that she's developing great and handling the little injuries super well. Grandma definitely got the task to do a bit of thinning soon. But we'll do that when I'm back. At the latest next Sunday. So let's move on, there's not much to see here.... ... If you want to see more, this little gem will be on YouTube soon, as soon as the flowering starts 🏻 And, check out my growmie - there's always some escalation going on with him: https://growdiaries.com/grower/stimpson

Canna-Lytiker The soMango is doing wonderfully and loves the weather. Over the weekend, I took the opportunity to thin her out a bit with Grandma. Grandma was quite diligent, and I showed her that even a hard defoliation is no problem for the plant. I also showed Grandma my first supercropping experience and topped the Somango right away. She's already been through quite a bit... The result is definitely impressive. It's going to be a beautiful plant when the flowering begins 😇

Canna-Lytiker Everything is great here! She's still pest-free - I'm very surprised about that. Otherwise, she's also weathered the storms. Top lady!
