KehrwochKush As you can clearly see, there is a significant advantage over substrates. Since the roots are exposed, they can spread more quickly in the water, thus increasing growth by up to 30%.

KehrwochKush Before and after the first thinning.
The lady in the front left is also slowly starting to grow now 💚.
Stay High until May 🏼️😎
KehrwochKush Pistils are clearly visible, so today marks the first day of flowering 😎. She has been trimmed and is now focusing solely on the bloom.

KehrwochKush One week of flowering done. Today marks the start of day 8 of flowering. The room is running automatically as mentioned before. The light is set manually. Fertilizer is poured in without any control, using a scheme I developed.

KehrwochKush Day 22 of flowering. There's not much to tell, unless you have questions about my system or approach, etc.
Stay high until May
Kehrwoch'Kush 🍃
@GreenHobbit I've been doing this hobby for 21 years too 😅. Here I defoliated and didn't completely strip it. For effective photosynthesis, you shouldn't remove more than 25% of the foliage. Also, make sure to leave enough sun sails on top. And almost right. Cleaning week only exists in Baden-Württemberg 😂. The Swabians can do everything, except speak High German 🤣.
@KehrwochKush well, I was pretty close then. I've been at it for 21 years now 😅 starting with delicate 15 years under 400W HPS. I've already discovered a few people here who have been growing for around 20 years, and I find their style quite similar 😅 I wonder if it has to do with the planting? 🤔😅 I also think it's crazy how many people really mean well with the defoliation... but it seems to work anyway. I'm more of the "leave what can take in light and only remove what casts a shadow" faction 😅
@GreenHobbit I'm totally with you on that. Except when the buds are too exposed to the light, then they get cut back. On the next run, I’ll try some lollipopping too. At first, it seems radical, but the buds show that it was a good move. It shouldn’t be too bushy either; in my opinion, that wastes too much energy. I'm also a bit over on the light 😅. I've got 720w hanging over 1.2x1.2m, which is also used to keep the quality a bit higher. I'm just careful when it comes to removing leaves and prefer to be smart rather than brutal. But that also comes from our long experience, which is why we let them grow a bit more refined 😎.
@Fast_Buds I really enjoy making your food diary 💚. I'll also keep a diary of my outdoor adventures. I've been a customer for years because you have such lovely flavors. It would be great, though, if you released some new food diary flavors 😎.
@World_Breeders Thank you, I'm glad to hear that. The first fertilizer is also being well received. I always have to keep an eye on all four ladies, as they all get the same fertilizer.
