floristician 🌿 Diary Entry #1: The THCV Resurrection (The Endurance Test)
Strain: Auto THC-Victory (Dutch Passion)
Medium: 11L Final Pot (Soil)
Method: Eggcup Germination / Direct Sow
📝 The Backstory & The Experiment
Two years ago, I had a heartbreaking encounter with bud rot on this exact strain. My mistake back then was using a plastic tomato greenhouse with zero air circulation. But I’m not giving up. I’m fascinated by the medicinal potential of THCV (appetite suppression, energy, focus) and want to see how it works for me.
The Special Challenge: This seed has been in my possession for 2 years. I am extremely curious to see if it will still sprout after all this time. This isn't just a retry; it's a test of the seed's shelf life!
💧 Germination Phase (The "Eggcup" Method)
Starting with maximum support:
• Solution: 1 liter of water mixed with 1 ml Alfa Boost to stimulate germination via enzymes.
• Setup: The seed is soaking in an eggcup, covered with aluminum foil to ensure total darkness.
• Heat Management: The cup is placed on a radiator. To prevent overheating, I’ve used an inverted plastic saucer as a buffer between the radiator and the cup. This provides gentle, indirect heat.
Strategy: As soon as the seed "cracks" and shows the first sign of opening, it will be planted directly into the 11L final pot to avoid any transplant stress.
🎯 Goals for this Run
1. Germination Check: Will the 2-year-old seed make it?
2. Airflow is King: No more foil tents! The plant needs a natural breeze.
3. Medical Factor: Evaluating the effects of the unique THCV profile for my needs.

floristician 🌿 The Survival Miracle (Germination Complete)
Status: Seedling stage reached / Stable
Light: LED @ 200 PPFD (Indoor)
🏆 All's Well That Ends Well
It's official: The lady has heroically survived all the hardships—from being a 2-year-old seed to the "backflip" and the surgical removal of the seed coat. The germination phase is successfully complete.
Current Status:
The cotyledons are fully expanded, and the first set of true leaves is growing in strong. She looks healthy with a vibrant green color. Currently, she’s staying indoors at comfortable temperatures, getting acclimated to the light at 200 PPFD.
📈 Outlook
After such a dramatic start, I’m now even more optimistic. If she keeps up this pace, she will develop beautifully with the right care. The "ICU" phase is officially over—now the real growth begins!

floristician Snail's Pace or Deep Growth?
It’s May 10th, and the above-ground development of the Auto THC-Victory is still moving at a snail's pace. However, considering she’s sitting in an 11L fabric pot, the heavy lifting is likely happening out of sight.
📝 Observations
• Vitality: The plant looks very healthy. No discolorations, no "clawing" of the leaves. The green hue is perfect.
• The Patience Test: Even though I was hoping for more "explosive" speed, this strain is forcing me to stay calm. After the rocky start, stability is much more important than rapid, weak growth.
• The Plan: I’m keeping my hands off. No fertilizer, no overwatering. I’m trusting that in the next 5 to 7 days, she’ll reach the "tipping point" where the root system is large enough to finally fuel a vertical growth spurt.

Week 3 – The Ultimate Patience Test
Three weeks in, and the Auto THC-Victory is still moving incredibly slow. I was honestly thinking about chopping her and calling it quits. But looking closely, the new growth is healthy, deep green, and showing no deficiencies. The rough start (backflip & stuck shell) combined with high humidity really stunted her early pace. I'm giving her one last chance: pulling back the mulch to let the soil breathe and drastically cutting down on watering. Let's see if that Dutch Passion fighting spirit is still alive.

Stiefmütterliche Behandlung & Letzte Chance
Status: Stagnation / Testphase
📉 Real Talk: Der brutale Start fordert seinen Tribut
Mal schauen, was draus wird!

🌿 Tough Love & The Final Straw
Status: Stagnating / Observation Phase
📉 Real Talk: A Brutal Start Takes Its Toll
Let's be honest here: the plant looks really weak right now. The rough start with the backflip and the stuck seed coat was likely just too much trauma for an autoflower during its crucial first few days.
Current Routine:
She spends her days outside soaking up the sun, but since the nights are still way too chilly, I bring her indoors every evening.
🤷♂️ Moving Forward
I'm not chopping her just yet. I'll let her grow and keep an eye on her to see what happens. But truth be told, I've shifted to a bit of a "tough love" approach. I'm done micro-managing and stressing over her—from here on out, she’s on her own schedule. Who knows, maybe the genetics will surprise us once the pressure is off. Let's see what happens!

The Discovery of Serenity
😌 The Right Decision
I'm really glad I didn't kill her. The lady is just cruising along stress-free now. Let's not kid ourselves: she's definitely not going to become a huge plant, and the yield will remain modest—but that's totally okay. My curiosity about the effects and this special cannabinoid profile is still huge.
💧 The New Care Regime
Since I've been treating her a bit more "neglectfully," things have actually been running on their own. Watering is now purely based on feel and, above all, pot weight: only when the 11L fabric pot feels noticeably light does she get a sip of water. No science, no stress.
I'm extremely curious to see what she pulls out of her sleeve in the coming weeks. They say the ones you count out live longer!

🌿 Embracing the Chill (Update)
Status: Vegging / Low-Maintenance
😌 Glad I Kept Her Alive
Honestly, I'm really glad I didn't chop her. The lady is just running along in the background now, completely stress-free. Let's be realistic: she’s definitely not going to turn into a massive monster, and the yield will be on the smaller side—but that’s totally fine. My curiosity about the effects and this unique cannabinoid profile is still as high as ever.
💧 The New Routine
Since switching to a more hands-off approach, things have actually been smooth sailing. Watering is done strictly by intuition and, most importantly, pot weight. Only when the 11L fabric pot feels noticeably light does she get a drink. No overthinking, no stress.
I’m genuinely excited to see what she can pull off in the coming weeks. They say underdogs surprise you the most!

Das „gerupfte Hühnchen“ blüht! 🌸

The "Plucked Chicken" is Flowering! 🌸
🐓 Survival of the Fittest
We’ve officially hit the next milestone: the Auto THC-Victory has entered the flowering stage! To be completely honest, she looks a bit like a plucked chicken right now—the scars from her brutal start and early stagnation are pretty obvious. But damn it, she’s alive and she’s fighting!
💧 Diet & Expectations
Feeding: She’s still on a strict zero-nutes diet. Just plain water whenever the pot feels light.
The Goal: We’re definitely not breaking any yield records here. My only goal now is to pull a few grams of clean THCV bud out of this, get it dried properly, and do a taste test.
I’m super excited to see how the buds develop over the coming weeks.

📈 Erst top, jetzt wieder mau

📈 Up and Down
This grow remains a total rollercoaster. After my last bout of frustration, the lady actually pulled off a really solid comeback in late veg and put on some decent growth. Now that she's fully transitioned into flower, though, things are looking pretty underwhelming again. She's looking quite sparse and isn't stacking much mass.
🔮 The Harvest Question
At this point, I'm genuinely curious if I'll even get anything shoot-worthy to harvest, dry, and smoke test. I’ve completely dropped all expectations. I’m just going to keep doing what I’m doing, leave her alone, and see what nature delivers in the coming weeks.
