In my other grow, 'Quick One | Indoor | Grow #4' were a few seeds lost. To not let the Biotabs products get wasted, It was decided to try and re-use these pots in a new grow.
Since it was suspected that some kind of harmful microbe was the problem, both pots got disinfected with hydrogen-peroxide. Since this will not only kill the harmful microbes, but the beneficial ones as well, do the pots need to be re-inoculated with beneficial microbes. Unfortunately, no Biotabs Mycotrex was left. Therefore, RQS Mycorrhiza will be used instead.

Two RQS Soil Plugs have been prepared and an RQS Special Queen auto seed has been planted in each. The plugs have been placed in a glass jar with lid, with the seal ring removed. The glass jar is placed in a windowsill in a shaded spot.
09/04/2026
Both fabric pots have been sterilised with hydrogen peroxide solution. It consists of 1 part 12% peroxide and 9 parts plain water.
Each pot is drenched with 2 litres of the solution and, after sitting in direct sunlight for the whole day, placed in the grow tent to let the soil dry out a little.
12/04/2026
One of the seeds popped its head above ground (during the previous night, to be precise).
The other one appears to be on its way as well, but needs another day or two.
13/04/2026
Both seeds have sprouted and are already showing a tap root at the bottom of the soil plug.
Both fabric pots have been prepared by first mixing 5gr RQS Mycorrhiza in the centre 10cm of soil. After that a hole slightly bigger than the soil plug and deep enough that the plug sits ~1cm under the soil level. The soil plug is sprinkled with 1gr Mycorrhiza, making sure that everything that falls of ends up in the planting hole. The soil plug is carefully placed inside the hole, making sure not to damage the tap root, and sealed with soil, carefully pressing the soil down the sides of the hole to make the plug more stable.
Both plants received 100ml water in the planting location to let the soil settle.
Th grow light has been adjusted, so that these plants receive a ppfd of ~210

Both plants received a 500ml solution of Bactrex (1gr/L) and Orgatrex (10ml/L) each, to inoculate the soil with beneficial bacteria.
It was planned to do this sooner, but the soil was still too moist until today.
Both plants are looking a little light green/yellow-ish. But this was to be expected after sterilising the soil with peroxide and killing all microbes.
19/04/2026
Although the yellow-ish leaves haven't improved, all new growth has a nice green colour and looks healthy.

Plant #1 is bulking up nicely, and its buds are comparable to plant #2 from the simultaneous 'Quick One' grow, which is two weeks further along.
Plant #2 has still been stretching this week and is ~50cm now. This plant has ramped up bud production as well now.
