Started to take off in week two, this will be my second ever grow and first on here. Im very new to horticulture but its all pretty easy, just filter the bullcrap off the internet and dont over do the nutes!! Im growing several plants but this is my prize lady. I do hope it gives the medicinal value like i hope.
Great week!! I topped her for a cutting then took the leaf and the main shoots off to open her chest up. I kept the original leaves on the underside. Bumped up the nutes and now just a bit of low stress training. I'm still awaiting my flowering tent to become available. I think 3 weeks but I'm a little worried this might become a monster so I'm doing some playing with mainlining in the meantime.
Steady growth and training still, this week involved a transplant into a 5 gal pot. The roots had completely taken to the previous 3 gal pot. Was slightly stressful but today marks day 3 post transplant and looks to be adjusting fine. Again 2 weeks until the switch so I'll be focusing on volume and size of the plant now rather than the shape of it.
Very strong week all round, she took to the transplant great, it's a huge pot but the root base was massive so it was a chance that paid off. Again, I've been selectively taking stems and leaves off for the entire grow to suit my scrog setup moving into the flower room. Looking at the end of this week making the switch. Will be a huge budded plant so stay tuned!
Great week, she's started budding very early so I'm fully expecting some huge buds. Final week of stretch with buds like your thumbnail.
From week one I've also been feeding with a mixture of chellates, sugars and minerals that will promote potency and flavour.
Very nice growth this week, I back off the hybrid feed to less than a gram per litre to eliminate a little nitrogen. I added a gram per litre of the pk booster 28/30 and some fulvic acids and organic minerals to promote bud development and the plant efficiency. This is a 45-50 day flower so I'm thinking around 4 more weeks.
Awesome week!! Buds are growing and growing. Still about 3 weeks to go. I bumped up the nutrients to just under 1000ppm. Looks like it could go further but I'm not one to push them to the limits. I like em green!!!!
@UncleIsko, I've tried it. From what I've found the tea can hold a spawning spot for mould so be careful. I personally don't use it. I've found the best supplements are the premixed fulvic acids and nitrogen mixes during veg. I then just continue from a 300ppm base feed with added calcium (because I only use rain water) in veg and slowly increase to about 900 in full flower. I give one day of plain rain water roughly every 10 days as a salt flush and found them to never be deficient.
