India_Calcoen The preparation for the outdoor growing season have started! I really loved my indoor grows and harvests: easy to trim, no pests, no mold… But I also like being outside and l love watching my (large!) plants enjoy the sun. I decided to grow several ‘early’ or ‘fast’ versions, containing ruderalis. Hopefully I can harvest all the plants before the rain in October starts. The strains I’m growing this outdoor-season: - Dutch Passion – GMO Fast - World of Seeds – Amnesia Early Version - World of Seeds – Appalachian Kush - World of Seeds – Burger Kush Early Version - World of Seeds – Northern Lights x Big Bud Early Version I’m pre-growing the plants indoor in Batmix (Plagron) topped off with 2cm of Seeding & Cutting Soil (Plagron). The soil is a leftover from my indoor run. I mixed the soil with Mycotrex and watered it with a solution with Bactrex. I want to use Biotabs products outdoors, because I had a hard time last year walking through the garden with heavy watering cans with feeding solution. With Biotabs I can use our sprinklers to water the plants, at least during the vegetative phase. I sowed the seeds on 12-04-2026 and they all sprouted on 15-04-2026!

India_Calcoen 4-05-2026 Second week of growing went fine. I did the first topping. I plan to do another topping before the plants go outside. They look strong and dark green 💪

India_Calcoen 13-05-2026 Appalachian Kush Early Version is still doing fine. She receives plain water every day. The pot is small and dries out fast. I topped her for a second time. Now I need to prepare her for going outside. Unfortunately the nighttemperature outside is still very cold…

India_Calcoen 29-05-2026 I didn’t want to update the last two weeks. The plants were struggling, leaves were yellowing. After I saw the first signs of a deficiency and because of the advise of Kushycat, I gave them a watering with Orgatex (Biotabs). It helped and I managed to keep them in their small pots for an extra week. Yesterday they got planted outside. They received Startrex, two Biotabs, Mycotrex and Silicium Flash in their planting hole. They got watered with Orgatrex and Bactrex. I covered the soil with a sheepwool mulchcover. It helps to keep the soil moist and it saves me from a lot of pulling weeds (the ones I don’t want, ofcourse). The plants are doing fine at the moment. They have space and everything they need. The four World of Seeds plants 🌱 are planted next to flowers: Zinnias, Rudbeckias, dahlias and snapdragons. I wanted to make this my ‘pleasure garden’ 😉

It really exudes Indica vibes. I really like it! Definitely making a note to plant it in the garden next year—or maybe try it indoors. 🐱🌞🥦

@Kushycat, this is what the description says: “Appalachian Kush Early Version is a medium-sized plant with a predominantly sativa structure. Its deep dark green leaves extend towards the sky. The long, dense buds take on the characteristic Sativa shape and are covered with a shiny resin on both sides of the flowers. During the flowering phase, Appalachian flowers display a symphony of complex aromas. Imagine the sweet perfume of ripe mango, moist earth and a hint of old school Haze nostalgia.” 😃 I’m still trying a lot of different strains because I haven’t figured out yet what I like best. Sowing, growing, drying, trying - repeat 😉 You prefer Indica strains?

@India_Calcoen, I feel the same way. I wouldn't want to commit to just one—there are too many different strains out there that are good and worth trying. You could easily spend your whole life—or even several lifetimes—exploring them all. 😸
