Just starting with this app. These unknown blueberry cross ladies are already half way through week 1 of veg in their new home under the 1000w (not really, pulls around 160-180w at the wall) Dimgogo LED light. I need a new grow light, but I find this light works quite well for the price - I'm considering just adding a second one, and/or supplementing
These clones were transplanted May 22nd, and took about a week to acclimate to their new environment, they noticeabley started to resume growth on May 27th, so I am counting from that date as veg week 1. Plants are receiving 500ml RO water with General Hydroponics Flora nutrients with CalMag, PH to 6.5 every second day, and they seem to be doing well.
I'm still working with minimal equipment due to budget restrictions, and have been struggling with ventilation; however, I have installed a new outtake fan this week, which seems to have mostly resolved the issue, I will be adding further ducting before the flowering stage.
The plants have fully adjusted to the light and tent space, so I have upped their nutrient and water schedule. The one mystery plant in the back right of the tent is still growing slower than the others so I put in the trellis net to start training the three faster growers, if the smaller one doesn't catch up by Sunday, I may do a third week of veg to fill out the canopy a bit more.
This week, I added a new in-line extraction fan and did a DIY vent plate with two 4" outlets, in anticipation of my second tent set up arriving next week. Temperatures have come down to a reasonable level.
I increased the nutrients quite a bit this week, as the first week I was allowing the nutrients in the soil to do most of the work, so far the girls are loving their new feeding schedule.
All in all, things are looking good, and I'm stoked with the progress (and super stoked for my new 4X4 tent to arrive!!! I got an Optic 8 coming too, with an auto pot system, so it's a big upgrade for me, can't wait! Watch for a second diary to start soon after, as I already have some Cannatonic late term seedlings (from the Dana Larsen overgrow project) that are in need of a place to bush out and then flower. Wish me luck, y'all!
Greetings, I hope you are all having a lovely week!
This week, the gal that was lagging behind caught up enough to begin flowering. A bit more than 30% of the trellis is filled up, so I know it's a decent time to flower in this set up.
The blurple light is performing well, as usual; though, I will likely replace it with a full spectrum light on the next grow in this tent.
With the addition of a new 4x4 tent (new diary today or tomorrow), I have resolved my ventilation issues by fabricating a DIY window exhaust panel, and the average temperature is now leveling off around 26 Celcius.
Overall, I feel that this grow is moving along nicely, and I'm happy with the apparent health of the plants, and their rate of growth, so far.
Till next time
Moving in to the second week of flowering, these gals look pretty good, and the canopy is filling up.
Nutrient levels have been changed to the suggested flowering concentration.
Chugging along as well as could be expected, looking forward to seeing some buds down the line 👽
Greetings, thanks for taking a look at my post 😄
The third week of flowering begins today, and these blueberry mystery crosses are looking pretty decent, bud production is coming along at around the rate I usually expect in this tent, and the plants look nice and healthy. I'd like the humidity to be a bit higher and am adding cups of tap water to the spill tray to help out. Lots of leaves, but I'm going to wait a bit before doing any defoliation, probably not till next week.
Please let me know if you have any comments, questions, pointers, or anything you notice that I might not have. Thanks so much 🙏
These girls are just humming along, looking and smelling very nice. Dealing with heat spikes by increasing RH, which is not difficult in this small tent.
Till next time 🙏
Week 5 of flowering, and these girls are looking pretty 😄
Temperatures have been pretty much the same, with some spikes on hot days, like today.
I like the look of these plants, I think they are going to produce some nice tokage for me, in the end.
let me know what you think :) Peace 🙏
This week, the buds have grown...that's about all there is to report, business as usual.
I can't wait for these ladies to be ready for harvest, they look so nice!
Well, I'm finally getting around to posting this harvest - total of 103.5 grams in the four plants - I've done one plant, four plants and fifteen plants in this tent, I always get 100 grams - I'm going to go with 2 plants in this tent on the next run.
I was impressed with this genetic, it was very strong and I never saw any issues, even though the temperatures got super hot at times, through the summer. I would for sure grow this strain again.
I've been toking on these buds since dry, and while they were decent right after drying, now that they have had little bit of time to cure, they are even better. I get pain relief in my back and shoulders, as well as a great euphoric feeling, certainly some couch lock that has more to do with basing out than being tired 😂
Thanks for taking a look! 🙏
