First post / Introduction (copy and paste this as the opening post):
Apple Fritter BioBoost - Kannabia Seed Company
Today I started with 4 seeds of Apple Fritter BioBoost from Kannabia Seed Company (Special Edition 3+1 pack with BioBoost/Trichoderma).
This is an indica-dominant hybrid (Sour Apple x Animal Cookies) with a delicious sweet apple pie flavor, spicy undertone, and strong resin production. Expected flowering time indoors: 58-65 days (around 8-9 weeks). The BioBoost version contains extra Trichoderma for better root development and resistance.
All 4 seeds looked sturdy and healthy. Today (April 18, 2026) I soaked the seeds in a paper towel for germination.
My setup:
120x120 cm grow tent with active carbon filter in and out
Seedling/vegetative: Spider Farmer 100W LED
Flowering: BestVA Pro 4000 LED
Start in 0.2-liter pots → later transplant to 11-liter pots with good potting soil
Nutrition: Complete Hesi schedule – always start with low dosages
Goal: Keep plants low and bushy with LST and/or topping so they fit nicely in the 120x120 tent and form dense, hard buds.
I will post multiple updates with photos, growth info, nutrition, training, and observations.
Let’s see how this Apple Fritter BioBoost performs under LED with Hesi!
Green thumbs up 🌱
Day 1 – April 18, 2026 – Germination
Today I soaked the 4 seeds of Apple Fritter BioBoost from Kannabia Seed Company for germination (paper towel method).
All seeds look great. I’m keeping them warm (22-25°C) and dark until the taproots emerge.
Update to follow as soon as they have germinated and are in the 0.2L pots.

Week 3 – May 2, 2026 – Early vegetative phase
We are now 2 weeks past germination on April 18. 3 seeds of the Apple Fritter BioBoost (Special Edition 3+1 with BioBoost/Trichoderma) have sprouted nicely and are doing well in their 0.2L pots.
Current status (Week 3 from start / ± Day 14 after germination):
All 3 plants have grown well and look healthy and vital.
The plants have now developed 3 to 5 pairs of true leaves and are beginning to show a clear structure.
Thanks to the BioBoost (Trichoderma + Bactiva), the root development seems strong: the plants are growing sturdy and compact, with short internodes and thick stems – typical for this indica-dominant hybrid (Sour Apple x Animal Cookies).
The color is a nice deep green, leaves are broad and healthy. No nutrient issues or stretching visible.
Conditions this week:
Light: Still on an 18/6 schedule with the Spider Farmer 100W LED. Distance ±25-35 cm, depending on the plant. The plants are responding well to the light without much stretching.
Temperature: 23-26°C during the day, 19-21°C at night.
Humidity: 60-70% (slowly decreasing).
Nutrients: Hesi Grow + Spore mix at low dosage (about ½ of the recommended amount). I’m still watering carefully, only when the top layer is slightly dry.
Observations:
The Apple Fritter BioBoost is growing very friendly and robust so far, just as Kannabia describes: powerful but controlled.
No strong scent development yet (just a very light sweet, spicy undertone when you get close).
The extra Trichoderma in the BioBoost version seems to be doing its job – the plants look fresh and strong.
Plan for next week is to repot them into larger pots (probably to 11L). I’m slowly ramping up the nutrients and will keep the training intensive, so they stay nice and bushy and can later produce dense, resin-rich buds.
So far, a very smooth start with this sweet apple pie hybrid under LED with Hesi. I’m looking forward to the flowering phase!
Green thumbs wished 🌱
