ThatDudesDad So far so good. Top dressed with rice hulls to help retain moisture and maybe a little silica. Also put a layer of hydroton. This spreads my water very evenly when watering and I’m hoping these layers will help bring some roots closer to the surface without the direct light and expand my available root zone. My water is Ph 7.2. Using Microbe Life Ph down. Usually takes no more than 2 drops to get me in range.

ThatDudesDad Plants look amazing and are growing fast. I’m loving the living soil. So easy… so far. Topping this week and adding the Vivosun Flex Feed bottom feeding pots this week. Strains are mixed but are all fem seeds from either Fastbuds or RQS. Pretty sure there is a wedding cake and OG Kush in there.

ThatDudesDad I am amazed by the health of these plants. I read when growing in living soil there would be slower vegetative growth but I’m not seeing it. Just filling up the Vivosun flex feed bottom feed reservoir with water. No chlorine and naturally Ph about 7.2. I couldn’t be more pleased or relaxed. Lots of time on my hands now lol. One plant just TOOK OFF! Had give her quite the bend but she did not care.

ThatDudesDad Left for 5 days and came back to an absolutely beautiful but worrisome sight. Plants EXPLODED while I was gone and one was significantly taller. Did a major defoliation and threw a net on there. Super Cropped the tallest plant and moved to side opposite the fan. Going to give them 3days and if all is well I’ll switch to flower.

ThatDudesDad Plants look absolutely fantastic. Switched to flower on 5/8. I’m 80% sure I’ll be able to keep them out of the lights. I did have to super crop the tallest plant again on a couple of branches. Otherwise they’re just drinking a lot of water from the reservoir. And that’s all I’m giving them. Tap water with about 150ppm and 7.2ph. I have an under sink filter for chlorine removal. But I also let sit for 24 hours to be safe. I did get some natures living soil girl flower power that I’m gonna add when I start to see some early flower. I be making a tea per instructions with molasses. I was skeptical, but as of now I may never use a different growing technique again. Also ZERO issues with pests which was one of my big concerns.

ThatDudesDad Got the light hanging from the tents crossbar. Plants are at the end of week 2 on 12/12. Defoliated to get light in but mostly to bring down humidity. Drenched with Girl Flower Power today. Super cropped again. Other than today’s watering just keep filling up the reservoir. Loving life!
