ridgeleaf First Outdoor Grow - Planting 1 Mystic Gorilla autoflower seed directly in 5 gallon fabric pot with 70/30 Miracle Grow and Perlite.
Updates
Day 4: Light rain, high 70 degrees, low 55 degrees, Mystic Gorilla still below soil.
Day 5: Cloudy day, light rain, 60 degrees. Tiny seedling emerging like a spikey lil dragon. Going to bring indoors overnight as temperatures will be lower tonight (38 Degrees)
Day 6: The tiny seedling disappeared for a day, buried abit under the soil, but re-emerged today! It has been in the 70s today, mostly 75 degrees. It will get down to 49 tonight, so I will bring em inside again.

ridgeleaf Day 8 - It was warm enough overnight to leave them outside, temps in the 50's. In the morning there was a heavy thunderstorm and the tiny little leaves were being beat up by rain drops...I rushed to shelter the plants in my screened in porch. It has been in the 50's today and quite rainy. Created some labels for them and placed them back outside when the storm cleared to give them some much needed sun :)
Day 9–10:
Daytime temperatures have been in the mid-70s°F, while nighttime temps have dropped into the high 40s°F. I’ve been keeping the plants in direct sunlight as long as possible during the day and bringing them indoors overnight to protect them from the cold. Overall, they appear to be doing well. The stems are slightly leggy, likely due to limited light intensity and cooler weather, but I’m hoping this improves next week once nighttime temperatures stay warm enough for them to remain outside full time. Watering has been light and only when the soil begins to dry out. The fabric pots dry relatively quickly, especially in warmer daytime conditions.
Day 11 - 13: Weather has stayed warm with good sun during the day and cooler nights. Seedlings are continuing to develop their next sets of leaves and overall color looks healthy. Stems are still somewhat leggy, likely from earlier lower light exposure, but they seem to be strengthening as they spend more time outdoors in direct sunlight and breeze. Soil has been drying fairly quickly, so watering has been done lightly as needed to keep moisture consistent without overwatering. No major signs of nutrient issues or stress so far. Overall growth seems steady and healthy for this stage. Next week hopefully will not have to take inside at night!

ridgeleaf Day 15: High: 91°F, Low: 65°F
Plants are looking healthy and adjusting well to outdoor conditions. New leaf growth is developing steadily and color looks good overall. A couple seedlings are slightly stretched but still stable. Soil drainage has been solid and no major issues spotted so far. Checked moisture and watered lightly. Left plants outside overnight due to warm temps.
Day 17: Warm sunny day, high 91°F low 66°F. Plants showing steady growth with healthy new leaves forming. Earlier drooping improved after reducing watering. Soil drying out better and stems looking stronger. Overall growth looking healthy with good outdoor acclimation.
Day 19: High 56°F, low 53°F. It has been intermittently storming and I let my plant have some rain, but for the most part have kept it sheltered under the screened in porch, I am worried that the rain will beat up the leaves. Yesterday morning was clear, warm, and got some sun, though started raining in the evening into today.
Day 21: High 67°F / Low 54°F. Cloudy rainy day, keeping a lookout for intense thunderstorms and sheltering plant, but making sure it gets some sun when it decides to peak through the clouds. It is going to be rainy and cloudy till Wednesday of this week.

ridgeleaf Day 23: Stem thicker and more upright with tighter node spacing. New vegetative growth healthy and vigorous. Weather cloudy with intermittent thunderstorms (84°F high / 72°F low). Humidity elevated from rain conditions. Monitoring soil moisture carefully to avoid overwatering during extended cloud cover.
Day 24: Plant is looking healthy and continues to show steady vegetative growth. New growth is emerging rapidly from the top and side nodes, with good color and no visible signs of pests, disease, or nutrient issues. The stem is strengthening and overall structure remains compact. Weather was warm (86°F high, 57°F low).
Day 25: Plant continues steady vegetative growth with healthy green color and increasing side branching. Stem strength is improving and overall vigor remains good. New growth shows some slight twisting/curling at the top, so I will monitor closely over the next several days. No visible pest damage or nutrient deficiency observed at this time. (High 81, Low 56)
Day 27: Weather was sunny with a high of 76°F and a low of 57°F. Plant continues to show steady vegetative growth with healthy green foliage and active new growth developing at the top. Stem remains sturdy and overall structure is compact. No signs of pests or nutrient deficiencies observed. Plant appears healthy and is responding well to current outdoor conditions.

ridgeleaf Day 28: Weather is sunny (High: 78°F / Low: 59°F)
Plant showing vigorous vegetative growth. New growth emerging rapidly from the apical tip. Leaf color remains healthy green with no major signs of deficiency. Stem thickening and structure becoming more established. Mild upward leaf curl observed during sunny conditions but overall plant appears healthy and vigorous. Continued monitoring for nutrient needs as growth accelerates.
Day 30: Sunny, 79°F / 52°F. Healthy growth and good color. Stem thickening and branches developing. No major issues observed.
Day 34: I think my last update was actually Day 31, not Day 30. Weather has been ideal for the past week, sunny and beautiful, high 88, low 74. Plant continues to show healthy vegetative growth with strong green coloration and vigorous new growth at the top. Stem thickness has improved and side branching is developing. I think it might be a little smaller than expected for Day 34, when I first planted the weather was rainy and it was a bit too cold and I had to keep taking it inside over night. I'm going to try to maximize sunlight as much as possible. I have been moving the fabric pot around chasing the sun. Also added some more soil and filled it up to the bottom leaves. I initially planted it with miracle grow with added perlite. I topped it off with some fox farms Ocean Forest soil.

ridgeleaf Day 37: Mystic Gorilla Auto - Cloudy weather with a high of 78°F and a low of 65°F. The plant continues to look healthy and has entered early flowering, with pistils visible and new growth developing at the top and branch sites. The stem remains strong, and there are no signs of lasting damage from being knocked over earlier in the week. Some minor discoloration and damage are present on a few leaf edges, but new growth is green and healthy. No nutrients were given today, and the plant was monitored for overall health and flower development.
Day 38: Conditions mainly the same, just added some more pictures:)
