ridgeleaf Started the second outdoor grow with three Mystic Gorilla autoflowers, currently germinating in damp paper towels. These are to be planted in fabric pots with Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil...to be continued! Day 5: Three seeds cracked and planted at 11 AM, 60 degrees on a cloudy day with light rain. Going to take them inside overnight as it will get down to 38 degrees tonight. Seedlings emerging from soil at 7 PM. Day 6: All 3 are forming cotyledon leaves. Beautiful sunny day out today, mostly 75 degrees. It will get down to 49 degrees tonight, so I will bring them inside overnight.

ridgeleaf Day 8 - It was warm enough overnight to leave them outside, temps in the 50's. In the morning there was a heavy thunderstorm and the tiny little leaves were being beat up by rain drops...I rushed to shelter the plants in my screened in porch. It has been in the 50's today and quite rainy. Created some labels for them and placed them back outside when the storm cleared to give them some much needed sun :) Day 9–10: Daytime temperatures have been in the mid-70s°F, while nighttime temps have dropped into the high 40s°F. I’ve been keeping the plants in direct sunlight as long as possible during the day and bringing them indoors overnight to protect them from the cold. Overall, they appear to be doing well. The stems are slightly leggy, likely due to limited light intensity and cooler weather, but I’m hoping this improves next week once nighttime temperatures stay warm enough for them to remain outside full time. Watering has been light and only when the soil begins to dry out. The fabric pots dry relatively quickly, especially in warmer daytime conditions. Day 11 - 13: Weather has stayed warm with good sun during the day and cooler nights. Seedlings are continuing to develop their next sets of leaves and overall color looks healthy. Stems are still somewhat leggy, likely from earlier lower light exposure, but they seem to be strengthening as they spend more time outdoors in direct sunlight and breeze. Soil has been drying fairly quickly, so watering has been done lightly as needed to keep moisture consistent without overwatering. No major signs of nutrient issues or stress so far. Overall growth seems steady and healthy for this stage. Next week hopefully will not have to take inside at night!

ridgeleaf Day 15: High: 91°F, Low: 65°F Plants are looking healthy and adjusting well to outdoor conditions. New leaf growth is developing steadily and color looks good overall. A couple seedlings are slightly stretched but still stable. Soil drainage has been solid and no major issues spotted so far. Checked moisture and watered lightly. Left plants outside overnight due to warm temps. Day 17: Warm sunny day, high 91°F low 66°F. Plants showing steady growth with healthy new leaves forming. Earlier drooping improved after reducing watering. Soil drying out better and stems looking stronger. Overall growth looking healthy with good outdoor acclimation. Day 19: Cool and cloudy. Temps high 56°F / low 53°F. Moved plants under screened porch during rain to avoid overwatering and storm stress. Growth slower due to cold weather but plants remain healthy green with steady new growth. Day 21: Another rainy cloudy day, high 67°F / low 54°F. It's going to be cloudy and rainy till Wednesday this week sadly. I think they look healthy, though growth probably will slow due to the weather. Keeping them sheltered on the porch when there is an intense thunderstorm, putting them out when the sun is peaking through the clouds.

ridgeleaf Day 23: All three plants showing improved vegetative growth and stronger stem development. Plant 1 was knocked over yesterday during a thunderstorm and I stuck a colored pencil into the soil and tied it with a Velcro tie for extra support. Temperatures approximately 84°F high / 72°F low. Humidity elevated from rainfall. Soil moisture monitored carefully to avoid overwatering during humid conditions. Moving plants under screened in porch to protect them from storms. Day 24: FINALLY after 4 gloomy rainy days, we have a beautiful sunny day! It is high 86, low 57. All three plants healthy and actively growing. Plant 1 continues to recover from a fall and shows strong new growth. Plant 2 remains the most vigorous plant with excellent structure and leaf development. Plant 3 healthy with compact growth and good color. Day 25: High 81°F / Low 56°F. All three plants showed healthy growth and maintained a strong green color. Plant 2 continues to be the most vigorous and symmetrical, while Plants 1 and 3 are also developing well with steady new growth. Minor twisting remains present in some of the newest leaves. Day 27: Sunny conditions. High 76°F, low 57°F. All three plants continue healthy vegetative growth with vigorous new growth emerging at the tops. Foliage remains dark green with no visible nutrient deficiencies or pest damage. Stems appear strong and node spacing remains compact. Plant 2 shows the most vigorous growth and symmetry, while Plants 1 and 3 continue steady development. Overall plant health is good and growth remains on track.

ridgeleaf Day 28: Sunny (High: 78°F / Low: 59°F) Plants continue healthy vegetative growth. Strong new growth observed on all plants. Leaf color remains healthy green with no major deficiencies noted. Stems continue to thicken and support increasing foliage. Node development and branching progressing normally. Mild leaf edge lifting observed during peak sun exposure but no significant stress symptoms. Continue monitoring moisture levels and growth rate. Day 30: Mystic Gorilla Autos (Grow #2): Today was sunny and clear with a high of 79°F and a low of 52°F. All three plants continue to show healthy development with strong green coloration and vigorous new growth. Plant 1 remains the most robust of the group, displaying excellent structure, healthy leaf development, and steady branching. Plant 2 is slightly taller with wider internodal spacing but remains healthy and vigorous. Plant 3 is the smallest of the three but continues to grow steadily with compact, healthy growth and no signs of stress. Overall, the plants appear to be transitioning toward the pre-flower stage, with stems thickening and side branches developing well. No significant signs of nutrient deficiencies, nutrient burn, pest activity, or disease were observed. Soil moisture remains appropriate, and the plants continue to respond well to current growing conditions. Day 34: I think I messed up the dates and Day 30 was actually Day 31. Plants 1, 2, and 3 continue to show healthy vegetative growth with strong green coloration and active new growth at the tops. Weather was warm and sunny with a high of approximately 88°F and a low of 74°F. Plants received a half-strength feeding of FoxFarm Grow Big fertilizer today.

ridgeleaf Day 37 – Mystic Gorilla Autos. Weather was cloudy with a high of 78°F and a low of 65°F. All three plants are showing healthy growth and are now in early flowering, with pistils visible at multiple nodes and on the main tops. Plant 1 has the most developed flower sites, while Plants 2 and 3 continue stretching and producing new growth. Leaf color remains healthy overall, with only minor damage and discoloration on some older leaves. No major signs of stress were observed, and all plants appear to be recovering well from previous environmental stressors. Day 38 - Pretty much same scenario as yesterday, just adding some pictures :)
