Germination
2mo ago
Vet_J This is my second indoor grow. I left the seed in distilled water for 18 hours, then transferred it to cotton for two days. About 12 hours after planting it in the soil, the seedling emerged, and I watered it with 250 ml of distilled water.

Vet_J The first week of vegetation is going really well. Unfortunately, I had a low-quality pH meter that got damaged. I was a bit worried that the nutrients might burn the plant, but it handled them perfectly with minimal stress.

Vet_J The second week of vegetation is going great. At the end of the week I gave the fertilizer a little higher ppm, for a two-week-old plant it was somewhere around 950-1000 ppm, but I don't think it will have much of an impact on the plant However, to be on the safe side, I will give it a little more water the next day and check the ppm of the water coming out of the pot, then I will probably use the LST technique around the 18th day.

Vet_J It's growing at a good pace and looks healthy I should have started the LST technique earlier because now the initial branch has become quite stiff and no longer has the appropriate elasticity It's okay, I'll wait a little longer for the branches to grow and then I'll stretch them with wire. I grew the previous grow using a similar technique and still got pretty good results. I have no complaints.

Vet_J Unfortunately, I didn't use the LST technique at the time, which was a big mistake. The specific genetics are quite bushy and the leaves are also quite large and cover many branches. In the meantime, I will most likely start stretching and defoliating next week and try to stretch the branches with ropes so that they are no longer shaded.

Vet_J The plant has developed well and has moved into early flowering and is in the process of stretching. The tips of the upper leaves are quite light green. I don't think it's anything to worry about. But I have two options. The first is a small light burn and to be on the safe side, I will reduce the light intensity a little, and the second is a small fertilizer burn. Next week, I will reduce the AN grow from 4 ml to 2 ml and observe. Everything else is going perfectly. I will wait a little longer for the stretch and most likely defoliate next week.

Vet_J first bud sites are forming up nicely. Did my first defoliation this week, cleared out the bigger fan leaves from the lower canopy to open up airflow and get light where it needs to go. Kept it light, around 15% of the foliage removed — didn’t want to stress her too early. Plant took it well, no signs of stress. It took just two days to recover. It stopped growing in height for two days and then resumed at a normal pace. Waiting another week or two before the second defoliation to let the lower bud sites develop properly and then clean things up more aggressively. This week I transitioned to bloom feeding. Pulled the AN Grow back from 4 ml to 2 ml and bumped up Bloom to compensate. Micro stayed the same as always. Nutrient solution was mixed at 950 PPM and pH was sitting at 6.5. Also running Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra and Big One alongside as usual. Looking solid so far.

Vet_J The flowering stage is progressing really well and I’m genuinely happy with how she’s coming along at week 7. The first brown pistils have already started showing on two of the branches, which confirms she’s deep into her flowering cycle now — right on schedule for Glue Gelato Auto. Next week I’m planning to significantly increase the flowering nutrients — particularly Big One and Top Candy, which should really push bud size and resin production from here on. Around the middle of the week I’ll also do a proper defoliation, clearing out the fan leaves that are blocking light from reaching the lower bud sites. The canopy has filled in nicely but it needs opening up to let those buds really fatten up. Water intake has increased quite a bit — I’ve stepped up from one liter to two, and even then the soil is nearly bone dry by early morning. That kind of uptake is a good sign — the roots are clearly healthy and the plant is working hard to fuel bud development. I’ll be watching closely to see if she needs even more as things progress. I’ve also been doing regular branch adjustments, gently repositioning the roped branches to keep the canopy level and make sure every top is getting its share of light. Nothing too aggressive at this point — just keeping things tidy. Week 7 feels like a critical stage now. Pushing the flowering nutrients harder from here should make a real difference in final bud size and density.

Vet_J Day 55 The lower leaves of the plant turned yellow I have two options that could have caused the lower leaves to turn yellow The first is a lack of nitrogen. In the last two weeks, I have reduced the dose of AD Grow fertilizer from 4 ml to 2 ml which contains nitrogen and i have not added AD B-52 for two weeks The second option is that I have a low-quality ph meter. I measure the ph with drops I don’t have digital one and there may be an ph error The plant was unable to absorb the fertilizer and a large amount of salts are most likely accumulated in the soil. one more detail:He was defoliated a few days ago. I hope that this problem will be resolved by next week and the plant will continue to grow at a good pace.
