BLSK Gen3 RDWC

Caertner It somehow took a really long time for the first roots to show up. The cuttings were actually always pretty moist, so I guess they just didn't feel like forming roots; that seemed to be enough.

Caertner Plants are slowly but steadily pushing out green again. Next time there will be soil again (coconut coir pot)

Caertner It's slowly getting there...

Caertner No! Doh! When transplanting, I wasn't paying attention like a kid with their sleeve... Bam, unplanned topping! She was actually supposed to go into flowering soon, she's already been in the pipeline too long. Now I guess I have to wait even longer.

Caertner So the unplanned topping didn't turn out so bad. The wound has healed well, just slightly brown. The lowest shoots are really taking off now, while the top is growing moderately.

Caertner The side branches are developing beautifully, providing a good distribution on the 40x30 lid. Gotta slowly tie everything down for the transition...

Caertner After recovering from the unplanned topping, it's straight into flowering. From today on, only 12 hours of light.

Caertner Bending and pinching... Defoliating and training. No matter what you call it, it's pretty chill with this strain. Leaves are easy to clip.

Caertner Grew a lot in height last week. Today was all about defoliating and pruning. But it was easy going... not much real work. The leaves snap off nicely.

Caertner The stretch is just insane. Almost 10cm since the last measurement... Otherwise, just a bit of defoliation and bending into the final position. Training with this lady has really paid off. Unfortunately, the results aren't as good as with a net, but that's what a 3D printer and a hardware store around the corner are for...

Caertner Height growth is over! Fits perfectly with the SuperLemonCherry in terms of height. Nice when a plan comes together. Otherwise, the top petals are slowly curling and the colors are coming in gradually. Just BlueSkunk. By the way, what looks like a slight nitrogen deficiency are actually the first trichomes already on the leaves... it's going to be 👍 👌

Caertner Just let it grow and occasionally steal a few leaves... no big deal. In the meantime, the upper sugar leaves are turning again... seems to be standard...

Caertner Not much done except waiting. A leaf here and there, but otherwise it's just waiting. 2 weeks... way too long. Although the SuperLemonCherry has just finished drying and curing. First tests were really good. I love these new Skunk crosses!!!

Caertner Now it's time to wait, wait, and wait some more... The smell is... really something special. In the meantime, the old Blue has developed a bit more... "umami." You could say I ate some peanut puffs and then rummaged through the stash with my dirty fingers...

Caertner Not done yet... Many trichome heads are already milky, but only a very few are brown and oxidized. Some are still rather half-transparent. So she can probably live a few more days... she's already been defoliated.

Caertner Waiting has become too stupid for me now. I've already waited 6 days longer than with the last cutting. Somehow, they're all finishing a bit later this year in the summer. 2 colleagues report similar experiences.
