Germination

IslandTerps Strain: Fast Buds – Mendo Frost Auto Grow Type: Indoor Pot Size: 3–5 Gallon (final pots) Medium: Peat Moss & Perlite Nutrient Line: Athena Germination Week The seeds were placed into water and actually germinated in under 24 hours, which was a really good start. Once the taproots appeared, they were transferred into a damp paper towel to let the roots develop a bit more before planting. After the taproots were looking good, they were placed into plastic cups where they’re currently settling in. So far everything is moving smoothly and the seedlings look healthy. They’ll be transplanted into their final 3–5 gallon pots soon once they establish themselves a little more. Really excited to seeing how these Mendo Frost Autos turn out πŸ”₯ Indoor Climate Conditions (Vegetative) 🌑️ Temperature: 24–26Β°C πŸ’§ Humidity: 60–65% πŸ“ˆ VPD: 0.6–0.8 kPa See y’all next week! IslandTerps Strain: Fast Buds – Mendo Frost Auto Grow Type: Indoor Pot Size: Plastic Cups Medium: Peat Moss & Perlite Nutrient Line: Athena Week 1 Update These girls are coming along nicely and showing some healthy early growth. Originally I started with 3, but ended up adding 2 more to the run, so we’ve got 5 in total now πŸ”₯ So far they’ve been doing great healthy color, steady growth, and no issues to report at this stage. IslandTerps Strain: Fast Buds – Mendo Frost Auto (5 Plants) Grow Type: Indoor Pot Size: Plastic Cups Medium: Peat Moss & Perlite Nutrient Line: Athena Week 2 Update These girls are starting to show some really robust growth now and honestly look like they’re going to turn into some decent sized plants πŸ”₯. Overall they’re looking healthy, growing steadily, and responding nicely to the feedings. There’s one in particular that’s stretching a bit taller than the rest. She might end up being one of those smaller yielders with more spacing between nodes, but time will tell πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ sometimes those plants still surprise you. I’m also trying that electroculture experiment on one of them lol. Still not sure if there’s any real science behind it, but funny enough that plant actually does seem a little bigger than the others right now. Could just be coincidence… or maybe YouTube wasn’t lying πŸ˜‚ So far though, no issues to report. Just watching them grow and seeing where this run goes. IslandTerps Strain: Fast Buds – Mendo Frost Auto Grow Type: Indoor Pot Size: 3–5 Gallon Pots Medium: Peat Moss & Perlite Nutrient Line: Athena Week 3 Update The Mendo Frost girls are doing really good right now and have been putting on some strong healthy growth πŸ”₯. Overall the plants look excellent and are developing nicely across the board. Even the taller one is doing well and settling in better than I expected. Now about that plant with the copper πŸ˜πŸ€£β€¦ I honestly really think this electroculture thing might actually be doing something lol. That plant definitely seems a bit more vigorous than the others. It honestly would’ve looked even bigger if I didn’t clip off the two big fan leaves that were blocking light from getting lower into the plant. Other than that, everything has been smooth. Nice healthy growth, no major issues, and the girls seem really happy overall 🌿 Feeding Volume: 500ml per plant Athena Grow: 45ml/gal Athena Core: 25ml/gal pH: 6.2 PPM: 550–650 ppm Frequency: As needed Indoor Climate Conditions (Vegetative) 🌑️ Temperature: 20–25Β°C πŸ’§ Humidity: 60–65% πŸ“ˆ VPD: 0.8–1.0 kPa And don’t forget to use my discount code ISLANDT for 15% off your next order at Fast Buds 🌿πŸ”₯

IslandTerps Strain: Fast Buds – Mendo Frost Auto Grow Type: Indoor Pot Size: 3–5 Gallon Pots Medium: Peat Moss & Perlite Nutrient Line: Athena Week 4 Update The Mendo Frost girls are looking fantastic right now and have reached a pretty decent size for week 4. They've put on some really nice growth over the last week and are starting to show their individual personalities. I decided to top one of them and pair that with some plant trainers to spread her out a bit. Topping autos is always a bit of a gamble πŸ˜…, but she took it surprisingly well. She bounced back quickly, pushed out new growth, and her canopy is looking amazing now. I’m also using trainers on another plant to open things up, and it's already making a difference. As for our tall girl, she's still living up to her reputation and has really shot up. She's easily the tallest of the bunch and continues to stretch above the rest. Overall, these girls are doing amazing. Healthy growth, no major issues, and they're shaping up to be a fun run. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they look like once they're deep into flower and fully stacked πŸ”₯🌿 Feeding Volume: 750ml per plant Athena Grow: 45ml/gal Athena Core: 25ml/gal pH: 6.2 PPM: 650–750 ppm Frequency: As needed Indoor Climate Conditions (Vegetative) 🌑️ Temperature: 20–25Β°C πŸ’§ Humidity: 55–60% πŸ“ˆ VPD: 0.9–1.1 kPa And don’t forget to use my discount code ISLANDT for 15% off your next order at Fast Buds 🌿πŸ”₯

IslandTerps Strain: Fast Buds – Mendo Frost Auto Grow Type: Indoor Pot Size: 3–5 Gallon Pots Medium: Peat Moss & Perlite Nutrient Line: Athena Week 1 Flower Update The Mendo Frost girls have really sprung up this week πŸ”₯. All five plants have gotten noticeably bigger and are now covered in bud sites. It's always nice to see that transition happen when the plants stop looking like vegging plants and start looking like future yield 😎 Our tall girl is still standing out from the bunch and looking really good, but honestly all of them are shaping up nicely right now. The structure on these plants looks promising and there are plenty of sites ready to develop over the coming weeks. I've officially switched over to Bloom and made some adjustments to the environment for flower. The humidifier has been retired for now and the dehumidifier is taking over duties. Humidity is coming down nicely and the room is much more suited for flowering conditions. They're also starting to put off a faint smell. Nothing crazy yet, but it's definitely there. I'm pretty sure by next week they'll be letting everyone know they're in flower πŸ˜… Overall, things are looking really good. I’d say they probably have about one more week of stretching before they stop reaching and start putting all their energy into stacking those buds 🌿πŸ”₯ Feeding Volume: 1350 ml per plant Athena Bloom: 45ml/gal Athena Core: 25ml/gal pH: 6.2 PPM: 750–850 ppm Frequency: As needed Indoor Climate Conditions (Flowering) 🌑️ Temperature: 20–25Β°C πŸ’§ Humidity: 50–55% πŸ“ˆ VPD: 1.1–1.3 kPa And don’t forget to use my discount code ISLANDT for 15% off your next order at Fast Buds 🌿πŸ”₯

IslandTerps Strain: Fast Buds – Mendo Frost Auto Grow Type: Indoor Pot Size: 3–5 Gallon Pots Medium: Peat Moss & Perlite Nutrient Line: Athena Week 2 Flower Update These Mendo Frost girls are absolutely amazing 🀩πŸ”₯. They really sprang up over the last couple of weeks and are looking fantastic right now. Even our tall girl has impressed me. I just knew she was going to surprise us, and she's definitely holding her own alongside the rest of the group. The buds are developing nicely and they're already starting to put on some frost, which is always exciting this early in flower. What really stands out though is the smell. For this stage of growth, they're already giving off an amazingly sweet aroma, and I have a feeling it's only going to get stronger from here. The girls are responding really well to the Bloom nutrients and so far I have absolutely no complaints. Healthy growth, happy plants, and plenty of promising bud sites everywhere I look. Next week I'll be introducing a low dose of Athena PK to help bulk these girls up a bit as flower production ramps up. I'm looking forward to seeing how they respond and how much size they can pack onto those buds over the coming weeks. Overall, things are going great and I'm genuinely excited to see these girls in peak flower. If they're already looking this good now, the next few weeks should be something special 🌿πŸ”₯ Feeding Volume: 1750ml per plant Athena Bloom: 45ml/gal Athena Core: 25ml/gal pH: 6.2 PPM: 850–950 ppm Frequency: As needed Indoor Climate Conditions (Flowering) 🌑️ Temperature: 20–25Β°C πŸ’§ Humidity: 45–55% πŸ“ˆ VPD: 1.2–1.4 kPa And don’t forget to use my discount code ISLANDT for 15% off your next order at Fast Buds 🌿πŸ”₯
