Germination Week
The seeds were placed into water and actually germinated in under 24 hours, which was a really good start. Once the taproots appeared, they were transferred into a damp paper towel to let the roots develop a bit more before planting.
After the taproots were looking good, they were placed into plastic cups where theyβre currently settling in. So far everything is moving smoothly and the seedlings look healthy. Theyβll be transplanted into their final 3β5 gallon pots soon once they establish themselves a little more.
Really excited to seeing how these Mendo Frost Autos turn out π₯

Week 1 Update
These girls are coming along nicely and showing some healthy early growth. Originally I started with 3, but ended up adding 2 more to the run, so weβve got 5 in total now π₯
So far theyβve been doing great healthy color, steady growth, and no issues to report at this stage.
Keeping things simple for now while they establish themselves before gradually increasing the feed as they grow bigger.

Week 2 Update
These girls are starting to show some really robust growth now and honestly look like theyβre going to turn into some decent sized plants π₯. Overall theyβre looking healthy, growing steadily, and responding nicely to the feedings.
Thereβs one in particular thatβs stretching a bit taller than the rest. She might end up being one of those smaller yielders with more spacing between nodes, but time will tell π€·π½ββοΈ sometimes those plants still surprise you.
Iβm also trying that electroculture experiment on one of them lol. Still not sure if thereβs any real science behind it, but funny enough that plant actually does seem a little bigger than the others right now. Could just be coincidenceβ¦ or maybe YouTube wasnβt lying π
So far though, no issues to report. Just watching them grow and seeing where this run goes.

Week 3 Update
The Mendo Frost girls are doing really good right now and have been putting on some strong healthy growth π₯. Overall the plants look excellent and are developing nicely across the board. Even the taller one is doing well and settling in better than I expected.
Now about that plant with the copper ππ€£β¦ I honestly really think this electroculture thing might actually be doing something lol. That plant definitely seems a bit more vigorous than the others. It honestly wouldβve looked even bigger if I didnβt clip off the two big fan leaves that were blocking light from getting lower into the plant.
Other than that, everything has been smooth. Nice healthy growth, no major issues, and the girls seem really happy overall πΏ

Week 4 Update
The Mendo Frost girls are looking fantastic right now and have reached a pretty decent size for week 4. They've put on some really nice growth over the last week and are starting to show their individual personalities.
I decided to top one of them and pair that with some plant trainers to spread her out a bit. Topping autos is always a bit of a gamble π , but she took it surprisingly well. She bounced back quickly, pushed out new growth, and her canopy is looking amazing now.
Iβm also using trainers on another plant to open things up, and it's already making a difference. As for our tall girl, she's still living up to her reputation and has really shot up. She's easily the tallest of the bunch and continues to stretch above the rest.
Overall, these girls are doing amazing. Healthy growth, no major issues, and they're shaping up to be a fun run. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they look like once they're deep into flower and fully stacked π₯πΏ

Week 1 Flower Update
The Mendo Frost girls have really sprung up this week π₯. All five plants have gotten noticeably bigger and are now covered in bud sites. It's always nice to see that transition happen when the plants stop looking like vegging plants and start looking like future yield π
Our tall girl is still standing out from the bunch and looking really good, but honestly all of them are shaping up nicely right now. The structure on these plants looks promising and there are plenty of sites ready to develop over the coming weeks.
I've officially switched over to Bloom and made some adjustments to the environment for flower. The humidifier has been retired for now and the dehumidifier is taking over duties. Humidity is coming down nicely and the room is much more suited for flowering conditions.
They're also starting to put off a faint smell. Nothing crazy yet, but it's definitely there. I'm pretty sure by next week they'll be letting everyone know they're in flower π
Overall, things are looking really good. Iβd say they probably have about one more week of stretching before they stop reaching and start putting all their energy into stacking those buds πΏπ₯
