36w par lights have worked amazingly giving really tight internodes. Started foliar spraying with solution from resi due to low humidity. Used metal hooks to tie plant down, as I didnt have enough medium to fill the pots.

I'm using LEDs for the first time and the humidity in the garden is often around 20-30%. Does anyone know a way to correct this. At the moment i just do foliar spay, but I'm not in the garden regularly.

Maybe too warm down there. In early stage I prefer to hold a lamp distance of 30cm while using about 125W COB LEDs to make sure there is enough humidity while vegetation. If you use full 450W with 30cm lamp to plant it propably could be to much power and heat for them.

This week i had all lights off for 48hrs, then turned on both 450w spider COB LEDs to 12/12. Temp and humidity went up and about mid week i noticed a bit of minor leaf curl on the older shade leaf and noticed temp was hitting 28 deg C. I've been running this nutrient solution for about 7 days at that point and had upped it from 2ml to 3ml a litre. I turned the heater off for second half of the week and the garden responded fine. Night time lows get a bit lower then i want. Mid week i also noticed early signs of spider mite a few tiny little white specs so i sprayed the bottom of all the leaves. Bit disapointed i got them, but glad i caught it early. I bleeched my room and eveything that went in there. I washed and reused the medium in a 10% bleech solution and put mesh on the intake vents to try and provent this, but it didn't work. Over all i'm happy with the garden. I might invest in a thermostat so i can have a bit more control on the low temps now i've sorted the high temp; issue.

I was a bit worried this week about the flowers coming on a bit slow and still being on grow nutrients, but about half way through the week the started forming nicely. My night time temps are getting low but im not going to worry about it at this stage. Day time temps being at night time have been okay but the end of the week it started getting a bit colder so made some adjustments on the heating, being careful to keep it in the high teens low twenties. They seem to like the temp in the low twenties deg celcius and the humidity gets low with the heat on, so still foliar spaying. I have just puchased a thermostat that i can put at canopy height to control the heater a bit better. Looking foward to seeing how that goes. I'll put them on bloom nutrients when the ressy runs out. Spider mites have gone so really happy with the garden at this stage. I also took some clones mid week, they have come on really well thou they are still growing flower. at least i know there growing well. i'll just have to wait and see what happens with them on 24 hrs light cycle.

This week has been cold, i had a heater going for a bit but it still got cold. I ordered a digital thermostat so i could better control the temp but it didn't show up. The Garden seemed to get though it okay though i think. I changed to bloom nutrients this week and started watering from 30 sec to 1 min once a day, mainly because the 30 sec timer died. The clones are going well and all have roots.

This week i upped the watering from 30 seconds once a day to 30 seconds twice a day. Other then that my thermostat still hasn't showed up and room temps are getting as low as 2 degrees celcius. I feel i'm falling behind a bit and think the low temps is probably why. They still seem to look okay, would like them to be a bit fatter but i guess everyone does😂

Hello, This week I filled my ressy and upped the nutrients to 3ml/l and put a bit more PK in the mix. My thermostat finally turned up and is helping controll the night time low temps. I think this has made a big improvement. I've been informed that there are a couple of different strains going( I was thinking this was the case). I think the middle one is northern lights/ big bud, because i've used this strain alot. The far one white widow( because it yeids well) and the closest one to the camera i think is the Afgan orange cush (i think) which was struggling a bit but once i fixed the temps it had growth splurt. They have stopped streching and started to fill out this week execpt the afgan.

Hi to all the happy gardeners out there. I've just been informed that i have been given three different strains. Is anyone keen on a guessing game. One is white widow, one is northern lights/ big bud, and i think it was somthing like afghan orange or somthing like that.😬

The leafy bud structure reminds me of Northern Lights. You will know for sure of its NL x BB you’ll smell the pine terpene profile.

I haven't had a chance to post the week up but i got the photos at the start of the week. This week there has been a few dramas. being a stormy week the power went off a couple of times for a few hours. And the the PH dropped to as low as 5.2 last night when i checked. I normally i flush the whole sytem when i refill but this time i only flushed the pots so i think it needs a good flush. the kush on the end seems to have really funny glands on the bottom, i hope there not going to seed😟the spider mites are all over the one on the far end. I Haven't done anything but try to squash them but there everywhere. Over all a slow week.

The far plant is infested with spider mites. I sprayed them early on and they were gone for a few weeks, now they are back near harvest i have been killing them by hand and it controled them for a while, but once they were one the sugar leaves it was to sticky to kill them properly. now i have a web on one of the buds😞 none of the others have been affected. This week i increased the PK to 2mls/l. So i'm going to just keep up with the war against mites and hopfully start the flush next week for harvest. Hope you fellas are going better then I.

Well this week i sprayed my plants with an olive oil and detergent mixture to kill my mite infestation. I left the solution on for an hour then washed off with warm water. The mites were gone and the plants looked great. A few days later i checked on them and the leaves had mostly burnt. whoops. The mites were still gone. I started the flush at the start of week 9 in Bloom and hope to start the havest at the end of the week. Hope your all going well with your gardens. Cheers.

The northern lights had no mites when the others were infested. Always looked like the better plant. Yielded more then the white widow and the kush put together, though they were infested with mites. I sprayed with white oil that got rid of the mites but I can taste in the smoke.

Disappointed with this garden, the plants didn’t do much in the last 3weeks. The mites really cause havoc in my garden this time around. Also the root system was small and straight down to the air stone. I think I watered to much causing spindly buds. They smoke very nice though, so I’m happy to take what I can get. Peace, and until the next one ☝️

hey smashy, only way to really get the humidity up is to have humid air going into the tent ! Hope I answered your question, anything else you need let me know 👊

@CRiSPrGrow,Hey thanks, i’m Still trying to figure this app out. You have done some nice gardens😃

There a couple cheap ways that do not involve buying a humidifier. Use less exhaust and put a wet towel inside the grow space. Also, once you go into flower the low humidity will be a plus, I would not worry, I would much prefer a low humidity environment.

I wanted to talk abit about my decision to spray pesticide, it's been bugging me..(Ha Ha that was an accident)Previously i have had trouble with mites in this facility and have used home made solutions of vegetable oil and eco detergient. This worked well but i had to spray quite often to keep on top of it and at one stage i sprayed the wrong concentrate and made a real mess. In the end it started to course other problems with rot, mold and mildew. This time around i caught the problem early, just before turning so decided to use pesticide, and try to knock it on the head early. I don't want to spay pesticide on my flowers, so i will keep a close eye on them. If the problem re-occurs in flower, the plan is to use a thyme, lavender oil solution and keep spray to issolated erea's while keeping a close eye on the RH. Which is low in this garden at this stage. My other garden has fruit and vegetables in it with the lights on during the day and the RH is high and starting to cause mildew. i'll sort that today hopfully by treating the mildew and adding fans.

Thanks for the feedback, I was a bit worried they might be a bit slow. I’m using 36w for veg and i think it went really well. I’ve just had the lights of for 48 hrs and turn hrs down to 12 and turning on the 450w Spider COBs. Plants look fantastic after there sleep. I swear they grew.
the end.
