Well this week i sprayed my plants with an olive oil and detergent mixture to kill my mite infestation. I left the solution on for an hour then washed off with warm water. The mites were gone and the plants looked great. A few days later i checked on them and the leaves had mostly burnt. whoops. The mites were still gone. I started the flush at the start of week 9 in Bloom and hope to start the havest at the end of the week. Hope your all going well with your gardens. Cheers.

I'm using LEDs for the first time and the humidity in the garden is often around 20-30%. Does anyone know a way to correct this. At the moment i just do foliar spay, but I'm not in the garden regularly.

Maybe too warm down there. In early stage I prefer to hold a lamp distance of 30cm while using about 125W COB LEDs to make sure there is enough humidity while vegetation. If you use full 450W with 30cm lamp to plant it propably could be to much power and heat for them.

Hi to all the happy gardeners out there. I've just been informed that i have been given three different strains. Is anyone keen on a guessing game. One is white widow, one is northern lights/ big bud, and i think it was somthing like afghan orange or somthing like that.😬

The leafy bud structure reminds me of Northern Lights. You will know for sure of its NL x BB you’ll smell the pine terpene profile.

hey smashy, only way to really get the humidity up is to have humid air going into the tent ! Hope I answered your question, anything else you need let me know 👊

There a couple cheap ways that do not involve buying a humidifier. Use less exhaust and put a wet towel inside the grow space. Also, once you go into flower the low humidity will be a plus, I would not worry, I would much prefer a low humidity environment.

I wanted to talk abit about my decision to spray pesticide, it's been bugging me..(Ha Ha that was an accident)Previously i have had trouble with mites in this facility and have used home made solutions of vegetable oil and eco detergient. This worked well but i had to spray quite often to keep on top of it and at one stage i sprayed the wrong concentrate and made a real mess. In the end it started to course other problems with rot, mold and mildew. This time around i caught the problem early, just before turning so decided to use pesticide, and try to knock it on the head early. I don't want to spay pesticide on my flowers, so i will keep a close eye on them. If the problem re-occurs in flower, the plan is to use a thyme, lavender oil solution and keep spray to issolated erea's while keeping a close eye on the RH. Which is low in this garden at this stage. My other garden has fruit and vegetables in it with the lights on during the day and the RH is high and starting to cause mildew. i'll sort that today hopfully by treating the mildew and adding fans.

Thanks for the feedback, I was a bit worried they might be a bit slow. I’m using 36w for veg and i think it went really well. I’ve just had the lights of for 48 hrs and turn hrs down to 12 and turning on the 450w Spider COBs. Plants look fantastic after there sleep. I swear they grew.
