PolioLegs First try at growing! Germinated using paper towel method (too wet). One seed showed a taproot after 1-2 days (right in pic), the other (left) did not. Planted both in case the runt makes it. First pic is Day ~7 since first seedling sprouted
Upgraded light about 5 days after first sprout (right) from shitty "20W" amazon light to 70W Viparspectra as it was looking very leggy. Seedling stopped growing vertically since new light was introduced, seems to be much better.
Planning to move both outdoors in 5 gal pots soonish. Any tips are appreciated, cheers 😀

PolioLegs Day 14 since the bigger plant sprouted. It's not looking good.... 😥 I think I over-watered her and she went limp. Has started yellowing over the past 2 days. Not sure what to do to fix besides toning down on the water, which I've already done.
Second smaller seedling has barely seen any progress since the last week.

PolioLegs Big update this week. Decided to try germinating a few more seeds so I can learn more and experiment. Planted two seeds of Grapefruit Haze from Next Generation Seed Company and two seeds of The Beast from Butterbean Birdseed. Number of days listed are from when the seedlings sprouted. Planning on moving all of these outside eventually so please excuse the janky non-climate controlled closet setup. I got some pH test strips and tested my tap water at about ~7.5. Now using pH down to bring it to ~6.5.
Orange Diesel (OD) #1 Day 21 - This girl bounced back quite well from last weeks update. I originally thought I was over watering but I think it was actually underwatering. I started giving it more water than before and she bounced back surprisingly. I think they might have been underwatered due to the jiffy pots soaking up a lot of moisture from the soil. Won't be using this style of pot again. On about Day 19, I noticed that the roots were beginning to extend out the bottom of the pot so I quickly transplanted into her final 5 gallon pot. This pot is filled with a mix of Pro-Mix HP and Sea Soil Container Complete. I would've moved her outside but the weather is cold and rainy for the next few days.
Orange Diesel #2 Day 18 - Still sticking with this one despite looking quite stunted. Also started giving it more water than before since its in a jiffy pot. Seeing some growth
Grapefruit Haze (GH) #1/#2 Day 3 - Planted in solo cup with Pro-Mix HP. Seed #1 has a malformed cotyledon due to me pulling off the seed shell way too early. The first leaves seem to be impacted as a result. Lesson learned...
The Beast (TB) #1/#2 Day 1/2 - Planted in solo cup with Pro-Mix HP. Seed #2 first leaves look a little odd with white tips, but we'll see how it turns out in a few days.
Thanks for checking out my diary 😀

PolioLegs Lots going on this week! Hardened off both of the Orange Diesels so they will be living outside from now on 🙏. OD #1 started showing pistils? stigma? Not sure which of the two they are but its been cool to see the explosive growth.
Transplanted both Grapefruit Haze seedlings into their 5 gal pots. These pots were filled with Promix HP and amended with Gaia Green All Purpose and worm castings approximately 2 weeks ago. Going to begin gradually hardening them off so they can survive the outdoors.
Transplanted one The Beast seedling into its 5 gal pot on Day 8. The other seems a little slow but its getting there.
