Granddaddy_Grow 01.05.-08.05.2026: I first lightly scuffed/sanded the seeds on a pumice stone; unfortunately, I didn't have fine-grit sandpaper. After that, I placed the seeds in a glass of water and after about 4-6 hours, once the shell had cracked, I put them in a damp tissue. I've been doing it this way for about 35 years, especially when the seeds have been stored a bit longer in a dry and dark place (purchased about a year ago).

Granddaddy_Grow 08.05.-15.05.2026: The northern German May weather is well-known for being very changeable, and the "Ice Saints" arrived earlier than expected. The temperatures fluctuate between 11 and 20 degrees during the day and between 4 and 10 degrees at night. The humidity ranged between 30% and 90%. Accordingly, the light yield outdoors was rather mediocre to poor. Therefore, I had the girls mainly indoors, by the balcony door, at a room temperature of 21 degrees with a maximum of 40-50% humidity and additionally 18/6 LED lighting.

Granddaddy_Grow May 15, 2026 - May 22, 2026: 6 days of rain with daytime temperatures between 10 and 19 degrees and nighttime temperatures between 4 and 11 degrees. The humidity continued to fluctuate between 30% and 90%. Due to the weather, the light yield remained poor, so the girls stayed in a good climate of 18/6 under the LED lighting.

Granddaddy_Grow 22.05.2026-29.05.2026: Sunny Pentecost finally brought warm temperatures and mostly blue skies without clouds, which my two girls really enjoyed. The temperatures climbed during the day to 21 to 30 degrees and at night dropped to 9 to 17 degrees. The average humidity fluctuated between 61% and 78%. Anna 1 has grown 5 cm and Anna 2 has grown 3 cm. However, I had to make a change. I am very satisfied with the LivingSoil soil; it is moist and pre-fertilized, and I haven't watered the soil. However, my sensors have been showing 100% overwatering for four weeks. Due to the humidity, I removed the pots, the drainage made of stones that store water, and the cover crop (meadow grass). Now the girls are back in 20l AirPot pots with the same LivingSoil soil - just airier. Let's see how the humidity in the pot develops. Hands up, it's the weekend... Wishing everyone a pleasant high life in bags...😎

Granddaddy_Grow 29.05.2026-05.06.2026: Back from the beautiful sunny Pentecost vacation, the first trip to the balcony to see what the girls are up to - shock, Anna 1 got a sunburn. It cooled down a bit during the week, with daytime temperatures between 17 to 24 degrees and nighttime temperatures between 12 to 15 degrees. The average humidity fluctuated between 61% and 93% - 60% sun and 40% rain showers at night. Anna 1 has grown 2 cm and Anna 2 has grown 8 cm. Due to the humidity and light rain, I didn't have to water. However, Anna 1 tipped over halfway twice. First the sunburn and now rain/humidity. By the way, I’m 55 years old and have dedicated my attention to this beautiful weed for over 35 years because I owe my health back then to it, as it transformed my life for the better. Out of respect, this living being deserves to be kept alive, despite its limited lifespan. Therefore, Anna 1 will receive all the care to stay alive, regardless of whether and how much yield she will produce or maybe not!? Due to the changeable weather, I brought the girls inside for a bit and placed them under a plant lamp (SANSI day/night Grow 36 Watt LED = 400 Watt). Highlife in bags...let's wait and see what happens...🤟😎

Granddaddy_Grow 05.06.2026-12.06.2026: Currently, there are hardly any changes, variable weather with little sun, many clouds, and occasional rain showers. The temperatures continue to drop slightly (+/-1 to 7 degrees), during the day to 15 to 22 degrees and at night 10 to 14 degrees. The average humidity continues to fluctuate between 61% and 93%. Anna 1 seems to be slowly recovering 🙏🏼 and has grown 3 cm. Anna 2 has taken advantage of her sister's stress and has grown 6 cm. I haven't had to water or fertilize yet. Due to the variable weather, I've still been bringing the girls inside occasionally and placing them under the SANSI grow light. Highlife in bags... it remains exciting...🤟😎

Granddaddy_Grow 12.06.2026-19.06.2026: My best outdoor day - ever 😅 Anna 1 has fully recovered after sunburn, rainwater, and humidity. She is small but mighty and has the will to survive. Despite the stress, she has grown from 10 to 18 cm in three weeks. Anna 2 has grown from 8 to 28 cm in the same time, "without stress." The only stress from the beginning has been the weather-related temperature fluctuations with a lack of daylight (little sun, cloudy) and the switch to optimal plant light, as well as the ambient temperatures in the living room without a tent. CONCLUSION: The strain PINEAPPLE EXPRESS F1 AUTO from ZAMNESIA is visibly a very STRESS-RESISTANT autoflower that has no problems with high humidity and rainwater in the Airpot with Living Soil - at least in the outdoor area (my previous experience with the strain). Therefore, I would recommend it to beginners as well! In the meantime, we have a weather mix of clouds, sun, rain, storm gusts, and thunderstorms with daytime temperatures of 15 to 29 degrees and nighttime temperatures of 10 to 18 degrees. The main thing is that the girls are doing well (again)! 👍 So, first a cold drink, high life in bags, and watching the World Cup ⚽️. Ahoi 🤟😎

35 years flushed I thought I was an old-timer at growing at 22 sweat_smile but well, what you can learn over the internet in recent years used to take us ages or we had to gather experience in uncomfortable ways.

@GreenHobbit Hey, now we're already Twotimers 😅 The first little plant I had was in 1991 on the windowsill. Yeah, the internet, that's right. Back then, we were happy if it was female and upset if a male ruined the grow. Uncomfortable experiences... I'll just leave it at that 😉 Greetings from the North!

@Granddaddy_Grow 91?… I was still crapping my diaper back then🤣 I just had a chat with a friend who got me into this back in the day. We were both amazed at how long we've actually been doing this😅 Greetings back from the middle!
