bauergrows Still germinating (2 already planted in soil). Update: In total 4 of 6 seeds are still alive. 1 popped in 48hs and it's growing fastly. 1 died after popping out of the soil. One of them was taking more than 7 days so i've planted it in a separate discarded pot but i don't expect it to come out.

bauergrows Ladies are slow. One of them is leading (maybe the keeper?). I've got 3 out of 6 seeds germinated. Which is not a great rate. It can be my fault but I never had this bad luck before with Humboldt, but since i've got an extra package as a freebie, it's still what I expected to get.

Week 3. Vegetation

bauergrows I've repotted because I suspect the soil in the previous pots to have been out of balance and slowly asfixiating the plants. I repotted with fresh soil, and I hope to see changes in the next week or 2. As you can see, two plants are pretty much stunted (slow slow grow and yellowing in cotyledons and tips of leaves) and the other seems okay but also slow.

bauergrows 1 of them is clearly taking the lead and has been topped The other 2 are running a bit behind but still survived the heatwave and initial problems.

bauergrows Week 11 of veg, and all three Squirt phenos are continuing to develop nicely. Alpha is the clear standout in terms of vigor. It's growing fast with a strong sativa-leaning structure, stretching well and showing excellent branching. Beta is also sativa-leaning but has been noticeably smaller and slower from the start. Despite the slower pace, it's healthy and steadily putting on new growth. Gamma appears to be a more indica-leaning pheno. I moved it indoors to compare outdoor vs. indoor growth, although the comparison won't be entirely fair since the phenotype is clearly different from the other two. Overall, they're all progressing well, and it'll be interesting to see how their structures and flowering characteristics continue to diverge.

The strain sounds interesting! Too bad the germination rate was so low... that’s a bit discouraging. Good luck moving forward! 👊🤞🏽🍀

@RasendeRollo92 Look, I don't want to blame anyone but myself. I had a similar problem with my previous Tropical Tangie plants (unlike Poddy Mouth from HSC), even though I used the same soil. It's reused soil from an organic grow that I lightly rinsed before reusing. When I transplant, I will measure the EC of the soil, as I suspect there might be an unfavorable osmotic pressure affecting the growth of the seedlings.

@bauergrows, that could be true… it's still a shame considering how much joy +3 plants would have brought 😉?

@RasendeRollo92, Yes, although to be honest, my real interest was just a little pheno-hunting. This year I want to have fewer players in my outdoor team. 🙂
