NewNewbie Got the cuttings from Krumme Gurken, they were even so nice to give me one more for free :) Great service, but ill grow it separately since i inteded this run to only go with 2 plants. For now, they will be isolated for a week to check for any pests or diseases, even tho im quite sure they are fine. Since my last run i tried to use coco and made all of the mistakes on can make, ill do it properly this time. 60/40 Coco and Perlite mix, to get fast drybacks and use the advantages of cocos. Since i plan on watering a couple of times a day, so i build my own watering and climate control system, im just waiting for the last few parts to get it complete. This run, ill try to use all of the tec and sensors i can think of and get my hands on, and see whats possible. Follow me along to see what i build and if its working😬 Wish me luck🙌

NewNewbie Both feeling semi well in isolation, the temps are a bit low i guess. Also, they are very sensitive for lightstress. Might be, because i have them under 24/7, buts that how they kept them after cutting. Next week, they will go into the tent and get proper climatic surroundings.

NewNewbie Looking better by the day and starting to increase grow rate. Topped them a few days ago and im working on getting a even canopy and many tops. Gathering some interesting data from this run, regarding leaf surface temperatures and how they respond to changes in VPD, temperature and CO2. My new soil sensors are arriving next week, and if they work as intendet ill be able to Track moisture, substrate EC and PH and soil temp. Will be interesting, and as soon as all the data can be gathered, ill upload it. Cheers 😀 For now my values are: Air VPD; Day: 1,5 - 1,8 kPa AVG: 1,6 kPa Night: AVG 1,1 kPa Leaf VPD; Day: 0,9 - 1,7 kPa AVG: 1,3 kPa Night: AVG 1,1 kPa Leaf surface to air difference; Day: 2,6 - 3,6 deg. AVG: 3 deg. Night: AVG 1,5 deg CO2 depending heavily if im in the room or not and if the window is open: Away ~ 490 ppm, At home, window open: ~ 600 ppm, at home, window closed: increase of ~ 300ppm/h so if you find your plants enjoying your presence, you might consider its because of increased CO2 lvls while you breath in the room.

NewNewbie Nothing special in this week, the heat is taking its toll i think. Also, since the temps are so high my VPD is outside my preferred range. Nothing to do there.

NewNewbie The plants grew quite a bit this week and they started to drink more. One last defoliation and a slight lollypopping, and now they are ready to get sent into flower. One thing i cant quite understand, the plants cant take much light at all. They are starting to taco up as soon as i turn the light up the slightest bit. Otherwise, qite pleased with the growth.
