DogDoctorOfficial # Chem Brulee by Zamnesia | Pheno B 🌱🔥🍮
## Germination Week | A New Journey Begins
Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱
Welcome to another new diary and another new adventure.
As some of you may have noticed, I've recently changed the way I'm documenting my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary rather than sharing a single journal with its sisters.
The goal remains exactly the same as always:
To document the entire process honestly and thoroughly from seed to harvest while sharing observations, techniques, successes, mistakes, and lessons learned along the way.
The only difference is that now each phenotype gets its own space to tell its story.
And today, that story begins with Chem Brulee Pheno B.
---
## The Beginning of Something New
Every grow starts the same way.
A small seed.
A huge amount of potential.
And a lot of curiosity.
For this run, we're following Chem Brulee from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life.
A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time.
Throughout this diary, I'll do my best to explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end.
Because growing is not only about results.
It's also about understanding the journey.
---
## Germination With the Cannakan System
To begin this run, I used the Cannakan germination system.
For anyone unfamiliar with it, the Cannakan is a compartmentalized germination container designed to keep multiple cultivars organized while providing a stable environment for germination.
Each section can be individually labeled, making it easy to track multiple genetics simultaneously.
The seeds were placed inside using only plain water.
Nothing more.
No nutrients.
No additives.
No rooting products.
Just water.
Approximately 24 hours later, healthy taproots had already emerged and the seeds were ready for the next stage.
Simple.
Efficient.
Exactly what we hope to see.
---
## Why I Use Only Water During Germination
A common question during germination is why I choose not to introduce nutrients immediately.
The answer is simple.
The seed already contains everything required to begin life.
Nature prepared that package long before we ever became involved.
Inside that tiny shell are the resources needed to establish roots and begin early growth.
At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to use those natural reserves.
The objective is not to feed the plant.
The objective is simply to wake it up.
Water is enough.
---
## First Experience Using Coco Starter Plugs
This run also marks my first experience using coco starter plugs.
The plugs were fully hydrated and then gently squeezed to remove excess water while still maintaining plenty of moisture and oxygen.
Once germinated, the seeds were carefully inserted into the plugs and placed inside a humidity dome.
The dome was only needed briefly.
Within less than 24 hours the seedlings had already emerged and were showing healthy development.
At that point, they were transplanted into small containers filled with Plagron Lightmix.
---
## Environmental Conditions
The environment during germination was intentionally simple and stable.
Temperatures remained around 26–27°C.
Humidity was maintained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier.
While many growers prefer keeping seedlings inside high-humidity domes for extended periods, I personally prefer introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience throughout their life cycle.
The goal is adaptation rather than prolonged protection.
Airflow was kept extremely gentle.
Just enough movement to keep the air fresh without creating stress for young seedlings.
---
## Heat Mat Temperatures
The propagation mat was operating around 40°C.
Although that number may sound high at first, the heat source itself must run above the desired root-zone temperature in order to compensate for environmental losses.
The seedlings are not exposed directly to 40°C.
Instead, the mat provides a stable source of warmth that helps maintain ideal rooting conditions and encourages rapid germination.
The goal is consistency.
And seeds love consistency.
---
## Lighting
Lighting during germination is intentionally kept soft.
Young seedlings do not require intense light levels.
The objective is healthy establishment rather than aggressive growth.
Once these girls become properly established, they will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the next stage of the adventure begins.
We'll start discussing PPFD, light intensity, and environmental adjustments in greater detail during the coming weeks.
For now, healthy beginnings remain the priority.
---
## First Impressions
Everything has progressed exactly as hoped so far.
Fast germination.
Healthy taproots.
Strong emergence.
Healthy color.
Good vigor.
And perhaps most importantly:
A clean start.
At this stage, every seedling is still a mystery.
No one knows exactly how a phenotype will develop.
And honestly, that's one of the most enjoyable parts of growing.
Every plant has its own personality waiting to emerge.
---
## Looking Forward
Over the coming weeks we'll follow Chem Brulee Pheno B through its early development and beyond.
We'll explore:
- Root development
- Plant structure
- Environmental management
- Watering practices
- Light intensity
- Growth observations
- And any unique traits this phenotype decides to reveal
Because every seed begins with potential.
The journey ahead determines how that potential unfolds.
This is only the beginning.
Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone joining along for another grow from seed to harvest.
Grower's Love everyone. 🌱💚

DogDoctorOfficial Chem Brulee by Zamnesia | Pheno B 🌱🔥
Vegetative Week 1 | The Little Rebel
Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱
Welcome back to another week of this 12/12 From Seed project.
Today we’re taking a look at Chem Brulee Pheno B as she completes her first full week of life and begins settling into her final home.
As with all plants in this run, the environmental conditions, feeding schedule, substrate, and cultivation approach remain identical across the room. The objective is simple: provide every phenotype with the same starting conditions and allow their individual genetics to tell the story.
And already, Chem Brulee Pheno B is beginning to tell hers.
⸻
Starting Life In Her Final Container
Following germination, Chem Brulee Pheno B was transplanted directly into her final container filled with Plagron Lightmix.
Because this project follows a 12/12 From Seed methodology, we prefer minimizing unnecessary stress during the early stages of development.
By giving each seedling its final home immediately, the roots can begin exploring the entire container from day one without requiring additional transplants later in the cycle.
The goal remains simple:
Healthy roots.
Consistent growth.
Minimal interruptions.
So far, she appears to have settled in very comfortably.
⸻
Light Feeding For Early Development
The first irrigation consisted only of water, allowing the seedling to establish itself naturally while utilizing the nutrients already present within the seed and substrate.
After several days we introduced our gentle starter feeding program consisting of:
🌱 Terra Grow
🌱 Pure Zym
🌱 Power Roots
🌱 Sugar Royal
All products were applied at light dosages designed to encourage root development and healthy early growth without overwhelming the young plant.
At this stage we are building foundations rather than chasing speed.
⸻
Environmental Conditions
The room remained stable throughout the week:
🌡️ Day temperature: 27°C
🌙 Night temperature: 25°C
💧 Relative humidity: 55%
🌱 Solution temperature: 21°C
🌱 Substrate temperature: 21°C
🌿 CO₂ levels: approximately 600 ppm
Lighting remained at approximately 350 PPFD under a 12/12 schedule.
Although this intensity may appear relatively high for young seedlings, the reduced photoperiod means total daily light exposure remains moderate when compared to traditional 18/6 vegetative schedules.
This allows the plants to adapt early to stronger light levels while maintaining a balanced Daily Light Integral (DLI).
⸻
A Phenotype With Character
If there is one thing that immediately stands out about Chem Brulee Pheno B, it is her unusual leaf development.
From the very beginning she displayed slightly elongated, narrow, and somewhat unusual first leaves compared to her sister.
At first glance she almost appears a little quirky.
A little rebellious.
The kind of seedling that makes growers stop and think:
“Well… you’re certainly doing things your own way.”
And that is exactly what makes phenotype hunting so enjoyable.
Not every plant develops identically, even when grown side by side under identical conditions.
Sometimes the most interesting plants are the ones that refuse to follow expectations.
⸻
Strong Progress Despite The Weirdness
What is particularly encouraging is that despite the unusual leaf structure, overall development has remained healthy throughout the week.
Growth has been steady.
Color remains vibrant.
New growth continues appearing consistently.
And by the end of the week we are already seeing the emergence of a nicely formed three-finger leaf set above those original, slightly unusual leaves.
This is often where the true personality of a plant begins to reveal itself.
While her early leaf morphology may look different, the newer growth already appears more structured and confident.
For now, there are no concerns.
Only curiosity.
And excitement.
⸻
Looking Ahead
The coming week should provide a much clearer picture of where this phenotype wants to go.
Will the unusual leaf characteristics continue?
Will she grow out of them completely?
Or will they become part of her defining personality?
That is one of the joys of documenting individual phenotypes from seed.
Every plant writes its own story.
And Chem Brulee Pheno B has already started hers in a very interesting way.
⸻
Thank You
A huge thank you to Zamnesia for providing the Chem Brulee genetics featured in this project.
Thank you to Plagron for supplying the nutrition and substrate supporting this run.
And thank you to Future of Grow, and everyone following these diaries week after week.
Your support allows us to document every step of this journey from seed to harvest.
As always, thank you for stopping by.
Until next week…

DogDoctorOfficial Week 2 - Chem Brulee (Pheno B) 🌱
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from the 8×8 Adventure!
For anyone joining us for the first time, this project follows multiple Zamnesia cultivars and phenotypes grown side-by-side under a 12/12-from-seed schedule. Every phenotype receives its own dedicated diary so we can properly document individual development, compare expressions, and follow each plant’s unique journey from seed to harvest.
Rather than combining multiple plants into a single diary, each phenotype gets its own spotlight. Even when seeds come from the same pack, nature often has different ideas, and watching those differences emerge is one of the most fascinating parts of the adventure.
This entire run remains under a 12/12 light schedule from day one. The objective is not to create large vegetative plants but to explore genetic diversity, plant structure, vigor, flowering behavior, and overall performance from seed to harvest.
Week 2 Overview
Week 2 brought another excellent round of development throughout the 8×8 Adventure.
Growth rates continue increasing as root systems establish themselves and plants begin transitioning from seedling behavior into active vegetative growth. Across the room, the response to both nutrition and environmental conditions has been very encouraging.
Lighting intensity has now increased to approximately 370 µmol/m²/s across the canopy, giving the young plants additional energy while remaining perfectly suited for this stage of life.
Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week:
• Light Schedule: 12/12
• Day Temperature: 27°C
• Night Temperature: 25°C
• Relative Humidity: 55%
• Solution Temperature: 20.1°C
• Substrate Temperature: 21°C
• CO₂: Ambient (~600 ppm)
Watering remained measured and consistent.
Each plant received approximately 250 ml on Day 8 and another 250 ml on Day 11.
Nutrition was increased gradually as the plants demonstrated they were ready for additional feeding.
Week-ending values:
• EC: 0.9 mS/cm
• pH: 6.0
Current feeding schedule:
• Terra Grow – 1.8 ml/L
• Pure Zym – 1 ml/L
• Power Roots – 1 ml/L
• Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L
The entire room continues responding positively, showing healthy coloration, strong growth rates, and excellent vigor.
Chem Brulee Pheno B
While her sister attracts attention with broad leaves and longer petioles, Chem Brulee Pheno B has quietly been building her own identity throughout Week 2.
And she is doing it beautifully.
Growth has been steady and healthy from start to finish, with excellent color, balanced structure, and a strong response to the increasing nutrition levels.
One detail that immediately caught my attention this week was a subtle discoloration present on one of the earlier three-finger leaves.
Nothing concerning.
Nothing problematic.
Simply one of those tiny genetic quirks that reminds us every plant writes its own story.
The coloration is subtle, attractive, and unique enough to stand out when viewing the plant closely.
Little details like this are exactly why phenotype documentation is so enjoyable.
Development Notes
Throughout the week, Chem Brulee Pheno B continued stacking new growth with impressive consistency.
The plant now carries multiple healthy leaf sets and has already begun producing beautiful five-finger leaves despite her young age.
Seeing five-finger leaves appear this early is always a satisfying milestone because it signals the plant is fully transitioning into active vegetative growth.
Color remains vibrant across the entire plant.
New growth appears healthy and vigorous, while older leaves maintain excellent condition with no signs of stress.
Structure remains balanced and symmetrical, creating a very attractive young plant.
While she may not be identical to her sister, she certainly isn’t trying to be.
And that’s exactly what makes following multiple phenotypes so rewarding.
Small Differences, Big Personality
One thing becoming increasingly clear is that Chem Brulee Pheno B is developing her own personality.
The subtle variation in leaf coloration, the slightly different structure, and the way she carries her growth all contribute to a phenotype that feels distinct despite sharing genetics with her sibling.
This is often where the real fun begins.
As plants mature, those small differences frequently become larger distinctions, making each phenotype easier to identify and appreciate.
For now, everything points toward a healthy and promising young plant with plenty of potential ahead.
Macro Photography Corner
This week also provided an opportunity for a little creative photography.
A few close-up macro shots captured water droplets resting on the leaves, reflecting the patterns of the LED lighting above.
These tiny reflections create miniature worlds inside each droplet and offer a completely different perspective on the garden.
It’s one of my favorite reminders that even the smallest details inside a grow room can become beautiful when viewed from the right angle.
The reflections, the textures, the tiny imperfections, and the way light interacts with the plant all tell part of the story.
Room Life
The room continues operating smoothly as environmental control remains a major priority.
Humidity levels are maintained with the help of the humidifier, allowing the young plants to develop comfortably while root systems continue expanding.
The gradual increase in nutrient levels has been well received across the room, and growth rates continue trending upward.
Mr. Baggy remains actively involved in daily operations.
Current responsibilities include:
• Plant inspections
• Environmental monitoring
• Photography supervision
• Quality control assessments
• Looking exceptionally important while doing very little
His contract remains under review.
Looking Ahead
If development continues at the current pace, next week should bring:
• Additional node formation
• Larger five-finger leaves
• Faster vegetative growth
• Increased stem thickness
• More obvious phenotype separation
• Continued canopy expansion
I’m especially interested to see whether the subtle leaf coloration characteristic remains visible as the plant matures or if it simply fades away as new growth takes over.
Either outcome will be interesting to document.
Final Thoughts
Week 2 has been another excellent chapter for Chem Brulee Pheno B.
Healthy growth.
Beautiful color.
Strong vigor.
Early five-finger leaf development.
And a few subtle traits that help distinguish her from her sibling.
She may not be the loudest plant in the room, but she has a quiet charm that becomes more noticeable every time the camera comes out.
Strong, healthy, and steadily building momentum.
Exactly what we want to see at this stage.
A huge thank you to everyone following along, commenting, sharing knowledge, and supporting the project.
Special thanks to Zamnesia, Plagron, Future of Grow, and all the partners helping make this journey possible.
And most importantly, thank you to the community. Your encouragement, ideas, conversations, and shared passion are what make documenting these projects so rewarding.
Thank you for stopping by, and I’ll see you all next week for another update from the 8×8 Adventure.

DogDoctorOfficial Folder 03 – Chem Brulee – Pheno B | Week 2
If Pheno A is expressing elegance through spacing and structure, then Pheno B is taking a different route.
Compact. Purposeful. Focused.
This phenotype is developing into a beautiful little powerhouse.
From the very beginning, Chem Brulee Pheno B has carried a slightly different personality, and that contrast is becoming even more apparent during Week 2. The internodal spacing remains noticeably tighter, creating a denser canopy and giving the entire plant a compact, sturdy appearance. Every new set of leaves seems determined to stack directly on top of the last, building a structure that feels efficient and well organized.
The first thing that catches my attention is the vigor of the new growth. The apical growth tip is expanding rapidly, producing healthy, vibrant foliage with excellent color and leaf development. The newest leaves display beautiful symmetry and texture, suggesting that the plant is completely comfortable in her environment and actively pushing forward.
The stem is thickening nicely and already provides a strong foundation for future development. Combined with the tighter node spacing, it creates the impression of a plant that is investing heavily in structural strength before committing to vertical expansion.
Looking down from above, the canopy appears remarkably balanced. The side branches are beginning to establish themselves while remaining neatly tucked beneath the upper growth. This compact architecture often becomes particularly interesting once flowering begins, as closely stacked nodes can develop into dense flowering sites throughout the stretch phase.
One characteristic I especially enjoy in this phenotype is the way the foliage naturally frames the center growth. The plant seems to be building upward while simultaneously maintaining a clean and organized structure, making every stage of development easy to observe and document.
Environmental conditions remain consistent across the Project Blue garden:
* 12/12 from seed
* RH: 60–65%
* Day temperature: ~26°C
* Night temperature: ~18°C
* Root zone temperature: ~21°C
* Watering pH: 6.0
* EC: 1.0
* Nutrients:
* Plagron Terra Grow
* Power Roots
* Pure Zym
* Sugar Royal
* Foliar: Vita Race
* PPFD approximately 600–700
One of the most enjoyable parts of running multiple phenotypes is seeing how different expressions emerge despite identical environmental conditions. Chem Brulee Pheno B is a perfect example. While sharing the same genetics and receiving the same care as her sister, she is already revealing a more compact and tightly structured growth pattern.
Neither approach is better.
Just different.
And that difference is exactly what makes phenotype hunting so fascinating.
Mr. Baggy has naturally approved the progress report and continues his highly specialized role as Director of Leaf Inspection and General Garden Supervision.
As Week 2 comes to a close, Chem Brulee Pheno B stands healthy, vigorous, beautifully compact, and fully on track. The foundation is now in place, the structure is forming nicely, and the coming weeks should reveal even more of the unique personality hidden within this phenotype.
The adventure continues. 🌱💚
Thank you to everyone following our Project and supporting these diaries. Whether you’re growing alongside us, learning, teaching, or simply enjoying the journey, your presence helps make this project something truly special.

DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 8×8 Adventure – Chem Brûlée (Plant B) | Week 4
A Different Sister, A Different Strategy
Welcome back to another chapter of my 8×8 Adventure, a project dedicated to exploring how different genetics—and even different phenotypes from the same cultivar—express themselves when grown under identical conditions.
Each plant receives the same environment, nutrition, lighting, and care, allowing their natural characteristics to shine without outside variables influencing the results.
Today’s update focuses on Chem Brûlée – Plant B, and she’s already proving that even sisters can choose very different paths.
While her sibling has been building a strong upright structure, this beautiful lady has embraced training remarkably well, opening herself into a wider, flatter canopy that promises excellent light distribution for the weeks ahead.
Watching these individual personalities emerge is exactly why I love phenotype hunting.
⸻
🌿 Life Inside the 8×8 Garden
The entire room continues thriving under stable environmental conditions.
Current room parameters:
🌡️ Temperature: 33.3°C
💧 Relative Humidity: 63%
⚡ Nutrient Solution EC: 1.36 mS/cm
pH: 6.12
💦 Reservoir Temperature: 25.7°C
Although temperatures remain on the warm side, constant air circulation keeps fresh air moving throughout the canopy, helping every cultivar continue vigorous growth while maintaining healthy transpiration.
It’s always fascinating seeing twelve different cultivars respond to exactly the same environment, each revealing its own unique blueprint.
⸻
💧 Feeding Program
Chem Brûlée continues receiving the same nutrition as the rest of the 8×8 project.
This week’s feeding includes:
• Plagron Terra Grow
• Plagron Power Roots
• Plagron Pure Zym
• Plagron Vita Race (foliar application)
Everything appears perfectly balanced.
Healthy green foliage, steady development, and vigorous new shoots suggest she’s making excellent use of every feeding.
⸻
🌿 Growth & Development
This phenotype has really begun showing her own identity.
Instead of pushing strongly upward, she’s naturally spreading her energy across multiple growing tips, creating a much broader plant than her sister at the same stage.
The most striking feature remains those gorgeous oversized fan leaves.
They’re broad, healthy, beautifully coloured, and already acting like efficient solar panels, capturing every available photon while fueling explosive vegetative growth.
The newest growth emerges vibrant lime green before gradually darkening as the leaves mature, a classic sign of healthy development.
Every node appears active, with numerous secondary shoots beginning to accelerate now that the canopy has opened.
She’s becoming increasingly bushy without ever looking crowded.
The structure feels balanced, vigorous and full of potential.
⸻
✂️ Low Stress Training
This week the focus has been gentle Low Stress Training (LST).
Rather than removing the main growing tip, the stem has been carefully bent and secured to encourage the plant to redistribute its growth hormones naturally.
By lowering the dominant shoot, the plant begins directing energy into multiple side branches instead of concentrating everything into one central cola.
The results are already becoming visible.
Several new tops are racing upward together, creating a much flatter canopy that should make far better use of the available light during flowering.
LST remains one of my favourite training techniques because it shapes the plant without slowing her down.
Minimal stress.
Maximum opportunity.
Watching these secondary branches wake up over the coming weeks should be incredibly rewarding.
⸻
🚀 Looking Ahead
Chem Brûlée Plant B is setting herself up beautifully for the next stage of development.
As the secondary branches continue catching up, the canopy should become increasingly even, giving every future flowering site access to strong light.
The plan remains simple:
Continue guiding the branches gently through LST.
Allow the canopy to expand naturally.
Maintain environmental stability.
Then simply let the genetics do what they do best.
Every day she’s becoming wider, fuller, and more balanced.
⸻
💚 Final Thoughts
One of the greatest lessons this project continues teaching is that no two plants—even sisters—tell exactly the same story.
Chem Brûlée Plant B has embraced training with incredible enthusiasm.
Her open structure…
Those beautiful oversized fan leaves…
The explosion of new growing tips…
Everything points toward a plant that’s preparing to fill her space with an abundance of healthy flowering sites.
She’s elegant.
She’s vigorous.
And she’s making every adjustment look effortless.
I can’t wait to see how this beautifully trained structure develops once flowering truly begins.
⸻
A huge thank you to Plagron for providing the nutrition that keeps this entire garden thriving, Zamnesia for the fantastic genetics and equipment making this project possible, and of course to the amazing GrowDiaries community for following every step of this journey.
Growers love and thank you all for the your encouragement, advice and support that continue making this adventure even more enjoyable.
See you all in the next update, where Chem Brûlée Plant B will continue writing her own unique story inside the 8×8 Adventure. 🌱💚

DogDoctorOfficial 🍮 Chem Brûlée – Pheno B
Week 5 | A Different Rhythm, The Same Beautiful Journey
Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure!
One of the greatest joys of running a phenotype hunt is watching two sisters grow side by side while revealing completely different personalities.
Same genetics.
Same environment.
Same lighting schedule.
Nearly identical nutrition.
Yet each plant chooses her own path.
Chem Brûlée Pheno B is proving exactly that.
Although she shares many similarities with her sister, she’s writing a story entirely her own.
⸻
🌱 How We Got Here
For anyone joining this diary for the first time, this entire project is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed technique.
Instead of providing a long vegetative period before switching the lights, the plants receive a 12 hours on / 12 hours off light cycle from the very beginning of life.
This allows every phenotype to decide naturally when it’s mature enough to begin flowering.
Some start earlier.
Others prefer to spend a little more time building themselves before making that transition.
That’s exactly what makes this project so fascinating.
Nature decides.
I simply provide the environment and let each plant express herself.
⸻
🌼 Week One of Flower
Although we’re now five weeks from seed, this marks what I’m considering Week One of Flower for Chem Brûlée Pheno B.
The transition is now undeniable.
Fresh white pistils are appearing across the growing tips, signalling that the plant has officially entered her reproductive phase.
Over the coming weeks these tiny white hairs will multiply rapidly, forming the foundation for the flowers that will eventually cover the canopy.
This is where the magic really begins.
⸻
🍃 Big Leaves, Beautiful Health
Just like her sister…
The first thing that catches your eye is those incredible fan leaves.
They’re huge.
Wide.
Deep green.
Full of life.
Healthy fan leaves are the engines powering everything that comes later, capturing light and converting it into the energy needed to build stems, roots and eventually dense, resin-covered flowers.
Looking across the canopy, she’s showing exactly the kind of vigorous growth I hope to see during this stage.
There is one damaged leaf visible in this week’s photographs.
That one is entirely my fault.
Sometimes, while working around the plants, accidents happen.
Fortunately, it’s nothing more than cosmetic damage.
The rest of the plant continues looking exceptionally healthy, and one damaged leaf certainly won’t slow her down.
⸻
🌿 Gentle Training
Training continues to remain intentionally simple.
Rather than forcing the plant into unnatural shapes, I’m using gentle Low Stress Training, carefully bending and repositioning growth to improve light distribution throughout the canopy.
Leaf tucking also remains part of the daily routine whenever needed.
Small adjustments performed consistently usually produce better long-term results than aggressive training all at once.
The goal isn’t to control the plant.
The goal is simply to help every future flower receive as much light as possible.
⸻
🌡️ This Week’s Environment
The environment continues providing ideal conditions for this stage of development.
This week’s averages included:
• Day temperature: 31.1°C
• Night temperature: 25°C
• Relative humidity: 67%
• Nutrient solution: 24.2°C
• Root zone: 21°C
• CO₂: 639 ppm
Humidity remains intentionally a little higher while the plants are still stretching and producing fresh vegetative growth.
As flowering progresses and buds begin to stack, humidity will gradually be reduced to provide the ideal conditions for healthy flower development.
Watching the room evolve each week has been incredibly satisfying.
Every update feels like another step closer to seeing this full canopy covered in flowers.
⸻
📸 This Week’s Photos
This week’s update includes a variety of different perspectives, including bird’s-eye views, side profiles, detailed close-ups, and room shots documenting her progress from every angle.
I always enjoy photographing plants this way because every perspective tells a slightly different story.
From above, you can appreciate the canopy.
From the side, you can see the structure.
Close-ups reveal the first pistils beginning to emerge.
Together, they create a complete snapshot of this stage in her journey.
⸻
🔮 Looking Ahead
Over the coming week I expect Chem Brûlée Pheno B to continue stretching while producing many more flowering sites throughout the canopy.
The number of white pistils should increase significantly as flower formation accelerates, and the plant will begin directing more energy toward building future bud sites.
Training will remain gentle and minimal, allowing her natural structure to develop while simply improving light penetration where necessary.
She’s progressing at her own pace…
And that’s exactly what makes following each phenotype so rewarding.

Week 6 | Finding Her Own Pace
Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure!
One of the reasons I love running phenotype hunts is because they constantly remind me that there is no such thing as a "perfect timeline."
Every plant has her own rhythm.
Even sisters sharing the same genetics, the same room, the same lighting, and almost identical nutrition will often choose completely different paths.
Chem Brûlée Pheno B continues to be the perfect example of that.
While her sister has moved slightly further ahead, Pheno B is taking a steadier, more measured approach to flowering. She's still stretching, still building her structure, and quietly preparing for the weeks ahead.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with growing at your own pace.
Sometimes those who start a little slower end up surprising everyone in the end.
🌼 Flowers Are Taking Shape
This week the flowering transition became even more obvious.
The first pistils that appeared last week are now multiplying across the growing tips, with every branch beginning to establish its own future flower site.
The main top is starting to take form, while the secondary branches are joining the party one by one.
Everything still feels delicate, but that's exactly what makes this stage so exciting.
These tiny clusters may not look impressive today, but in only a few weeks they'll become the dense flowers that make all the patience worthwhile.
Watching that transformation never gets old.
🌿 Elegant Structure
One thing I really enjoy about this phenotype is her overall architecture.
Compared to her sister, Pheno B has developed a slightly more open canopy, allowing plenty of airflow and excellent light penetration throughout the plant.
Every branch seems to have found its own place without much intervention from me.
The internodal spacing is balanced, the stems are strong, and the canopy already has a very natural shape.
Sometimes a plant almost trains herself.
Those are always enjoyable grows.
The foliage remains a rich healthy green, and she's showing plenty of energy as she continues building toward full flower production.
🌱 Gentle Guidance
Training remains intentionally simple.
Low Stress Training continues helping spread the branches while occasional leaf tucking allows light to reach developing flower sites hidden beneath the canopy.
I've resisted the temptation to overwork her.
At this stage the goal isn't to force the plant into a specific shape.
It's simply to help her make the most of the structure she's already chosen.
The less unnecessary stress we create now, the more energy she can dedicate to producing beautiful flowers later.
🍽️ Feeding Strategy
Nutrition remains focused on supporting the transition deeper into flowering while maintaining healthy vegetative growth during the final stretch.
This week's feeding included:
• Terra Bloom – 1.9 ml/L
• Green Sensation – 1 ml/L
• Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L
• Power Buds – 1 ml/L
• Pure Zym – 1 ml/L
• pH adjustments using Lemon Kick and pH Plus when required
Everything continues to be based on observation rather than routine.
Plants don't read feeding charts.
They tell us what they need through their growth, colour, and overall health.
Learning to understand those signals is one of the most valuable skills any grower can develop.
🌡️ Environmental Conditions
The room continues providing stable conditions for healthy flower development.
Average conditions this week included:
• Day temperature: 29°C
• Night temperature: 25°C
• Relative humidity: 60%
• Nutrient solution: 24°C
• Root zone: 21°C
• CO₂: 639 ppm
With flowering progressing, humidity has gradually been reduced to create an ideal environment for the weeks ahead.
Stable environmental conditions allow every phenotype to fully express its genetic potential without unnecessary stress.
It's amazing how much difference consistency makes over an entire grow.
📸 Capturing Another Chapter
This week's photographs show a plant that's confidently settling into early flower.
The close-up shots reveal fresh white pistils appearing from every growing tip, while the wider photos showcase a beautifully balanced structure that promises excellent light distribution as the buds continue developing.
One thing I particularly enjoy is seeing how different the two Chem Brûlée sisters already look despite sharing the same genetics.
That's the beauty of phenotype hunting.
No two stories are ever exactly the same.
🔮 Looking Ahead
During the coming week I expect Chem Brûlée Pheno B to continue producing new pistils across the canopy while gradually slowing her vertical stretch.
The individual flower sites should begin expanding, and the first signs of true bud stacking will become more noticeable.
Training will remain light, allowing her natural shape to continue developing while simply helping every branch receive as much light as possible.
She's growing with quiet confidence.
And sometimes...
Those are the plants that end up leaving the biggest impression.
