dalemark If it’s your first grow honestly autos are probably the easiest way to learn White Widow autos seem pretty forgiving too. Been hearing decent things about TSP beginner selections and the germination guarantee is reassuring when you’re still figuring everything out šŸ˜‚

White Widow is a solid choice for a first run for sure. I grew that strain my second time around and it took everything I threw at it. Are you planning to run just one plant or a couple at once?

@dalemark, Makes sense. My first auto run I stunted one by transplanting too late. Learned more from that mistake than any perfect grow honestly. What kind of setup are you working with tent, lights?

@Will_jack, Just a small 2x2 with a 100W LED. Nothing fancy. Trying to keep total cost low until I prove I can actually get a plant to harvest lol

@annecodex, White Widow is definitely a great starter strain. I’m thinking of running a couple of TSP autos next, especially with the BOGOAUTO code making it easy to try more genetics.

Definitely agree, autos take a lot of the guesswork out of the process, which makes it easier to focus on dialing in your environment and watering habits.

That’ll do fine for two autos. One tip autos can be light feeders early so don’t go heavy on nutes. And I’ve seen a few people mention The Seed Pharm on other threads, mostly positive for entry level stuff. The guarantee seems legit but I’d still test germination with the paper towel method just to be safe.

@Tippo, Good luck with the first grow. White Widow is forgiving but don’t be afraid to just let it do its thing. Half the new grower problems come from checking on the plant too much

@dhazie01, Thanks, I'm trying to remind myself that sometimes the best thing you can do for a healthy plant is leave it alone and let it grow.

@dhazie01, Appreciate that. Yeah I’m trying to keep my hands off once it’s in the soil. We’ll see how that goes

I’m new to this but autos sound way easier for a first grow. White Widow autos seem chill too. A germination guarantee would make me feel less nervous trying seeds for the first time. Any tips for a first-timer or things I should avoid?

Tippo commented11d ago
@divergentcrypt, Honestly, keep it simple, don’t overwater, avoid heavy training early on, and try not to check on them every five minutes like the rest of us did on our first grow.

@dalemark, Facts and autos reward consistency more than heavy intervention. Overfeeding/watering is where most beginners run into issues. Keep it steady and let the plant do the work.

@divergentcrypt, Autos are a great way to start. Good genetics make a big difference, and TSP has some nice options. Keep your setup simple and enjoy the learning process!
