This is the first time I'm growing a photo-period plant from dutch passion. I've grown auto strains form them before and they have been excellent for outdoors(Glueberry OG). When it comes to this strain, DP has given no info on outdoor growing. But 22% thc and Sweet smooth smoke bought me.
Transplanted on day 3 after breaking the surface.
Completed 2 weeks without any major issues. The weather has been extremely bad and my heart pounds each time it rains . She is the smallest of the 4 photos in this batch but she seems to be catching up soon :) going to do a full salt flush next week.
Week 3 done and everything is alright! she's still the smallest of the lot but no signs of any deficiency, so I'll let her take her time and see. I usually start with nutrition when the first pair of leaves in the bottom start wilting, which should be from next week I reckon. Gonna be topped soon! stay tuned ^^
This week has been very gloomy with just a couple hours of good sunlight. I gave her a foliar spray of grow nutes in day 25 which was the first feeding. I'll continue spraying once in every 3 days. She has also been pinched (FIMed) on day 26. Its still too early to say but so far there is no signs of stress. Hopefully the next week brings more light so she can grow nice and big before flowering 😊
The weather still remains to be bad and the forecast predicts worse weather to come. Looks like luck is against me :( She recovered from the FIM and is growing 3 tops form the look of it. Going to keep this going to see what happens, been a amazing learning experience so far ^-^
It's been a good week this time, made a few changes to let more light in. She has transitioned into flowering and hit a growth spurt hence has grown quite a bit this week. I has sprouted an other seed of MT to see if I get a different pheno and that plant is doing super well! I wont record it though(all my diaries end up jinxing my plants :P).
Not much change this week. Shes sending out a nice earthy smell as of now and the bud sites are swelling up slightly. There has been some rain and cold nights but no signs of stress so far.
I thought I'd finally introduce my second tulip to this diary and show everyone how much I messed up on my first one :P I planted MT2 after fixing the lighting issue and she is twice as big as MT1 and still growing. Cant wait to see the deference in the taste :D
MT 1 is maturing nicely and the smell seems to be changing from a coffee/earthy to a more creamy. Still a long way for harvest but I'm already excited :D
MT 2 has just hit flowering and shes doing just spectacular. I feel like both together is like an expectation vs reality meme lol MT 2 being expectation and MT 1 being realty.
Just crossed the 10 weeks mark! woohoo! cant believe its been 70 days already. There has been some intense rain and wind the whole of this week and the next week seems bleak in light too. MT2 has finally stopped growing and has hit flowering nicely. MT1 looks like she'll need atleast 3 more weeks to completion. The smell is nothing like I've ever smelt before 😮
So this grow has just turned upside down thanks to the freakin weather. MT1 is close to done but with rain everyday and high humidity, the drying process is going to be challenging. MT 2 still has time to go so hopefully the clouds clear out by then.
