Ramires Tag 1: here’s to a new growing adventure. I planted the two seeds 8 days ago in a propagator filled with coconut and placed it on a heating mat. Yesterday, they stretched their little heads out, and just now they were transplanted into 11L fabric pots and placed directly in the tunnel with the other two plants. Let’s see how it goes, especially since the weather is supposed to stay consistently good temperature-wise. The soil was fertilized with half a pack of Monster Bud Mix from Zamnesia. I've been using it for 2 years now and I'm satisfied.

Ramires Tag 7. I put both seedlings back in the tent because the temperatures in the last week and this week in Northern Germany haven't been the best, sometimes dropping to single digits at night. For now, they'll stay in the tent until the weekend, then it should get warmer again and they'll go back outside. I haven't done anything with them except for watering.

Ramires Day 14: The two are bravely defying the modest weather, standing at 9 and 8 cm tall. Otherwise, they look pretty good. Starting tomorrow, it’s supposed to get summery, so I think they’ll start pushing and really take off. If all goes well, they’ll be topped in about 2 weeks. Day 17: Both plants have been topped.

Ramires Tag 21: I actually wanted to let both plants grow longer outdoors. But somehow they just don't have the right motivation. They're only 10 and 13 cm tall. Even though they’ve been topped, the side branches are developing slowly. Their fan leaves are only 3-bladed as well. I’ll check to see if that’s normal for this strain or if they’re stressed. I’ll wait another week and then decide whether to keep them outdoors or move them to the grow tent. Tag 27: Starting from day 23, both of them exploded in growth. LST has been applied for 3 days now, and tomorrow they will be topped for the second time.

Ramires Day 28: Both plants have surprisingly handled temperatures of up to 40° C in the tent really well. With a bit of LST, I pushed them down to 13 and 16 cm and topped the top two shoots. Thanks to the mulch as a cover for the soil, evaporation was kept to a minimum.

Ramires Tag 35: Both plants feel really comfortable in the tunnel. I bent them down to 24 and 22 cm with LST. I added SF nematodes against fungus gnats and thrips to the watering water just to be safe. I'm leaving them outdoors for another week, then they'll move back inside and switch to 12/12 light. There's a streetlight in front of my garden, so it doesn't get dark enough at night. Tag 39: Today got a bit hectic because I found spider mites on her during the indoor move. All the plants immediately got a neem oil shower. Additionally, I ordered predatory mites that will be added to the plants.

Ramires Tag 42: Three days ago, we put them back in the grow tent because it's too bright outside at night (streetlight) in the garden. Today, the lighting was reduced to 12 hours and both plants were bent down to 29 and 28 cm with LST. A few leaves also had to go. I hope the predatory mites arrive today or tomorrow so I can introduce them to the good ones. The infestation is manageable, but we still need to do something about it. Tag 44: The predatory mites have arrived and were immediately introduced to the plants.

Ramires Tag49: The move from the garden back to the tent went well for both of them. The growth was decent for both. We bent the shoots down a bit again and removed a lot of fan leaves and mini shoots that weren't getting much light. Now the air can circulate everywhere again. While defoliating, we also noticed that the predatory mites we introduced were quite hungry, as they did a great job and snacked on the spider mites. There are only a few left to see now.. They’re probably being devoured as a dessert 😁. The first mini buds are already visible too.

Ramires Tag 56: Both are really stretching, adding 10 and 9 cm in the last week to reach 49 and 48 cm. The buds are also developing slowly and are becoming quite noticeable. The trimming scissors were in use again because the crowns were more than dense, with many leaves overlapping or already sticking together. After overcoming the mite infestation, I didn't want to fight against powdery mildew as well, so I did some serious defoliation. Otherwise, they're full of juice and look very healthy. I hope it continues like this for the next 7 - 8 weeks. Tag 60: Today I worked the plants into the SCROG net. It's a first for me since I haven't dealt with it before. Before that, I gave both plants a good trim, removing everything up to half height. I also received a €25 voucher from Zamnesia, which I invested in nutrients. Among other things, in the Monster Bud Max Flower. I will apply that according to the instructions on plant 1. This way, after harvest, drying, and curing, I'll have the opportunity to check if the nutrients are worth it. It might not be entirely conclusive, but it could provide some insight.

Ramires Tag 63: The girls have taken to the net well. I find it quite amazing how the height of the plants can be controlled with the net. I think the effort is pretty minimal; it's even fun to work with. We've removed quite a few leaves and shoots that hardly received any light, which has improved air movement. A spicy smell is already developing too.
