Started these little ladies on 5/8. Soaked the seeds in RO water for 24 hours. Then placed them in a paper towel for about 36 hours. The tap roots were long and healthy.
I planted them in Jiffy Pellets that I first soaked in RO water and Organocide. They sprouted within 18 hours.
Week two and they are coming along great. I transplanted then info these little 4in seedling pots using Roots Organics Original soil. I'm keeping them in this nursery tent with plenty of ventilation and high humidity. They are loving it. No nutrients yet.
Looking good this wk. Everything is progressing nicely. They seem to be loving the environment which is holding steady. Humidity and temperatures have been perfect.
They are growing bigger and stronger each day.. They are loving their environment. This little nursery tent is perfect for them. It keeps them nice and humid and warm.
Gave the ladies their first dose of nutrients. I made sure they were very diluted. they loved it. When I came to check on them, they were all praying. Yay.
6/14 - It's the beginning of week 3 and one of my two Wonder Woman plants are suffering from Zinc deficiency. I noticed this Thursday and believe this is a root issue and not a pH issue. They have most likely outgrown these little 4 inch nursery pots and used up all the nutrients in the soil. I'm about a week late in transplanting them as is. I was going to do it last week, but my schedule got thrown off. I knew I would have to leave them in a bit longer so I gave them a very light feeding last week as I was afraid to burn them. However, it turns out for this one, it most likely wasn't enough. I will be transplanting them into 1 gal pots tomorrow with brand new Roots Organic original soil amended with Roots Organics Uprising Foundation. That should take care of any issues.
6/15 - Transplanted both Wonder Womans into 1 gallon pots. I started with Roots Organics Original soil then added some Oregonism XL to the root ball and a good amount inside of the hole before planting. Then, I top dressed all with some Uprising Foundation also by Roots Organics. .
For gnat prevention, I used Bti (Bacillus thuringiensis) aka mosquito bits. I also added some Uprising Grow, as a dry amendment to the one plant that were showing deficiencies for a little extra boost going forward. Finally, I watered everyone with compost tea that I brewed for 18 hrs. They are already looking stronger and healthier.
6/21 - Week 7 and they are still struggling. I replanted them into 1 gallon pots, added some dry ammendments, watered, nothing has been able to bring them back. Today I gave them some liquid nutrients including Buddha Grow, Trinity, Surge, Extreme Serene, and Cal Mag.
6/24 - Still no improvement and one of them is struggling badly. I decided to brew some compost tea to see if that has any effect. I'm including the following:
5 gallons RO Water
3 Cups Coast of Maine Organic Compost
2 Cups Organic Mechanics Worm Castings
2 tbs Down to Earth Alfalfa meal
4 tbs Trinity Catalyst
2 Tbs organic, unsulfered, black strap molasses
I will let it brow for 24 hours and water tomorrow and use it as a foliar spray. Fingers crossed.
6/29 - 4 days after I gave everyone the compost tea, the Wonder Woman ladies have sprung back to life! The compost tea was a literal life saver. Just a few days later and their leaves have lost the yellow tinting between the veins of the leaves and her leaves are more smooth.
6/30 - Top dressed all with Uprising Grow and Uprising Foundation
7/1 - Today I did a little selective defoliation on the Wonder Woman ladies. They are looking stronger and stronger each day.
7/2 - Today was feeding day. Gave them a dose of their regular nutrients. They are very happy!
7/3 - Added some red wigglers today! I ordered some Red Wigglers from Uncle Jim's Worm Farm and they arrived today. I added about 10 to each pot then moistened the soil a bit with just RO water pH to 6.6. I can't wait to watch them do their thing!
7/4 - When I came into the tent this morning the ladies were praying! They looked very happy and I have to believe it was the worms. I did nothing else.
I watered all with Trinity and RO Water. They have nearly completely recovered from their minor deficiencies. Their leaves look great.
7/6 - Both Wonder Woman ladies are doing great. They were praying again when I checked on them earlier. Their leaves look healthy and happy. I watered them today with just RO water, CalMag, and Extreme Serene as they will get fed tomorrow. I also did a foliar spray of the Extreme Serene on all.
I will be vegging them out for another 2 weeks and then flipping them to flower.

7/18 - Transplanted both ladies into 3 gallon pots. As I did I sprinkled Oregonism XL (mycorrhizae) to the root ball to assist the roots in adhering happily to the soil. Then I watered with RO water and CalMag.

8/19 - Top fed all the ladies today with Uprising Grow, Uprising Bloom, and Elemental.
8/21 - They are in bloom! They are beginning to flower and looking lovely. In between feedings I water with RO water and molasses. They seem to love it.
8/24 - Blooming along nicely! Watering just about every day now. Added some mulch to the tops that I made from the dried leaves I take during defoliation. Hoping to keep the tops a little more moist.
