Even without visual updates in the logbook, the signs are good that the genetics have used the time in the 3-liter pot to continue growing vigorously in the background. As soon as vitality returned, the scissors were put to work: a radical pruning freed it from the damaged leaves, followed by targeted topping to stimulate branching anew. Additionally, during this process, the metal clips for the first Low Stress Training (LST) were set to keep the side shoots flat and direct growth outward. The result is more than impressive – the stem is strong, the lady is bursting with vigor again, and she has brilliantly overcome the vacation shock thanks to quick intervention and the training sessions!

This layer serves as a light mulch layer, but primarily aims to consistently keep pests like fungus gnats and other vermin at bay. Since this method has been applied in the setup, problems with annoying insects have drastically reduced. Actually, I would have liked to give the lady a bit more time to establish herself in the large pot after the transplant. However, since some time had to be made up after the holiday drama, the decision for the next step was made earlier. But since she had already settled in extremely well by the middle of the week, was fully in her prime, and provided the absolutely best foundation, she was now sent into flowering with a clear conscience. By the end of the week, the lighting was officially switched to the 12/12 rhythm! With that, we bid farewell to the veg phase and look forward with excitement to the upcoming stretch.

All the low-hanging shadow leaves, small side shoots, and buds that wouldn't receive much light anyway were consistently removed. This measure not only creates the necessary air circulation in the lower area but also visually brings back maximum clarity to the profile of the lady. The visual ripening process is also noticeably picking up speed: The first bright white stigmas are starting to curl and are slowly turning amber to amber-brown. At the same time, the aroma and terpene development is noticeably increasing; the characteristic, complex scent profile of the Ethos genetics is becoming more intense day by day and fills the room.
