Welcome to my all organic grow of the Purple Majik bred Ethos genetics..This is my first time growing this strain so feel free to enjoy the ride with me through this adventure
A little late updating due to a fishing trip 😁..The girls are still living it up in solo cups..Dont have definite timeline on when im going to transplant i usually let them tell me..We will be building our soil here soon as well using a number of organic amendments like biochar, castings, tea,Down to earth,Dr earth ect you get the picture 😉
The girls have been transplanted and I did run into some deficiency issues ect in the solo cups which were my own fault..They are bouncing back and should be back to form in a week or so..
Medium is 50/50 FFOF & PROMIX
Amendments are Down to Earth
Bat Quano 7 tbsp
All Purpose 7 tbsp
Oyster Shell 7 tbsp
Azomite 7 tbsp
Granular Humid 7 tbsp
Alfalfa Meal 7 tbsp
Kelp Meal 7 tbsp
Wakefield Biochar 1 pound
VermisTerra worm castings 1 pound
The girls got their first topping as well as being introduced to compost tea..I recently bought some buildable tomatoe cages that I hope to incorporate into this grow and really bush these girls out
Plants have been topped once with some slight LST..Once I gain more lateral growth i intend on topping again and gain a bushy structure to her..This veg tea should go hand in hand with the soil amendments and give me a extra boost of N..She is being slow and stubborn for sure
This week the girls were topped again and are starting to bush up and stay compact..They are in amended soil but I've been adding EZ tea veg from Cultured Biologix for some additional soluble nitrogen..Next feeding i will top dress and that should carry them until the flip to flower..I will dress with Bat Quano, all purpose, humic, alfalfa and kelp meal
So this week I top dressed the soil with 4 tbsp of each Bat Quano,Alfalfa,Kelp,Humic,Castings and All Purpose and watered in with Fish Shit ph'd at 6.5..Most of my work now will be to continue to spread and manipulate for optimal canopy development but other than that the girls are looking vibrant and loving life
So this being my last week of veg I went ahead and installed the first level of my 3 piece buildable cages and hit the girls with a nice compost tea YUMMY 🤗..The goal was to level my canopy as evenly as possible before the flip and stretch and I think i achieved that very well..These girls have been very happy with the Down to Earth amendments with no signs of toxicity, deficiency or stress..My timer was set to 12/12 this morning so flower ENGAGED..Hope everyone enjoys
Well we are at the end of week 1 of flower and I've already had 7" of stretch on the beautiful girls..Ive done some minor leaf stripping to allow some of the lower and smaller shoots gain some light..These girls are beautiful and vibrant and the best has yet to come
Well the end of week 2 is here and we gained another 3 inches in stretch bringing us to a total of 12 inches..These girls look exceptionally well and are loving the weekly microbial drenching consisting mainly of Fish Shit and Mycho Chum..Week 3 will bring the girls a nice compost tea and a new haircut to open them up for a little more light penetration..Overall things are going great..Stay tuned!
Sorry about not posting last week as some family matters had me restricted.Im back and the girls are looking great are getting thirsty thirsty..They received a nice compost tea this week and will get top dressed next watering which should carry them until harvest
Ok so we have established 2 different phenos..Both are structurally similar in being compact with tight node spacing but one will definitely finish quicker than the other and is caring some grape terps with some purple shading. The girls got a blend of Terp Tea Bloom from Roots Organic,Mycho chum and some left over Nectar nutrients
Thirsty thirsty thirsty about sums it up for the week..These are ever so beautiful with nice trichome covered buds and sugar leaves..I've really enjoyed the simplicity of this fully organic grow and I'm very pleased with the results so far..Ethos Genetics definitely has some quality product and will surely be revisiting the Ethos vault soon
We are approaching the finish line on these magnificent girls and I cant wait harvest but I'm dreading trimming these sticky girls..From here on out they will just be receiving what i call a "microbial flush" which is just microbes and enzymes till the end to ensure full organic breakdown of any nutrients ect left in soil
This was my first fully organic grow and I think i did pretty good if I do say so myself 😉..Both girls were grown in 7 gallon pots using a mixture of Down to Earth and Dr Earth soil amendments..I used a 50/50 mix of Fox Farm Ocean Forest and ProMix utilizing Azos and Mykos at transplant..I was able to train this girl with no issues and she responded well to LST and defoliating..Other nutrients I used are Xtreme Teas from Xtreme Gardening,Fish shit,Mycho Chum,Athena's Amina's and Bloom Khaos..At the beginning of flower the grape terps shown through but further into flower the blueberry took over and has stayed through the cure..Overall I am always pleased and impressed with Ethos Genetics..I appreciate the love I have received throughout this grow and hope you all enjoyed as much as i have 😁
