JaramnieJazz So since I'm bored and I can finally call these beautiful Dr. Grinspoon seeds my own since they're no longer available at Barneys Farm and I found some at High Giraffe Seeds, I thought why not let them pollinate and make/have more seeds of it, no matter what, as long as this genetics is in there. And since they won't finish here anyway unless I start the flowering 1.5 months earlier than with all the other strains and I don't have space for more plants this year and can't set up my tent at the moment, I'm making seeds out of them. So after almost 40 hours still nothing, no movement in the seed, so I put a second one in a glass of water for 1-2 hours and then into the wet piece of paper, hope it pops. 06/09/26 OK the second one is open and is now going into a jiffy. 06/12/26 still nothing to see. 06/13/26 Nothing, so I carefully ripped open the jiffy and it’s alive, needs more time. 06/14/26 Nothing, it’s alive but should come out in the next few days.

JaramnieJazz 15.06.26 So I took another peek and saw that the shell was off but the little membrane was still on, which I removed with tweezers. The little one looks weak, hope it recovers quickly. Week 1 officially starts, I don’t need it to be that big, just for seeds since they were so hard to find, and that’s why I started another Skunk#1 and a Super Skunk in search of a male that would pair well with Doors#1 since it’s 75% Haze with Skunk and Dr. G. No nutrients yet, it’s still too small, maybe a weak first feeding in a week. 16.06.26 Looks like crap, I’ll probably have to pop another seed, it’s a runt and hasn’t moved at all. 17.06.26 It has moved, so it’s definitely alive, but I still packed a 3rd seed into a Jiffi, which is crap. Luckily I bought 5, but still, the money going down the drain makes it even more important to get fresh seeds with nice genetics for the coming years. Still looks bad for High Giraffe Seeds 😔😞. Yeah, I don’t think the 2nd seed will make it, hope the 3rd does, otherwise I’ll be really pissed. 18.06.26 Yeah, the 2nd one is done, no development, and the 3rd hasn’t shown up yet, what a mess, and I paid good money for this. So now I’ve put a 4th seed in a wet cloth and took the 3rd out of the Jiffi, which hasn’t moved at all these past few days. I’m slowly losing hope for these High Giraffe Seeds, total crap, this has never happened to me before, usually 9 out of 10 seeds pop, no matter which seed bank. 20.06.26 So it looks like the 3rd one has popped and I put it in a Jiffi, the 4th isn’t moving. I also got an email from High Giraffe Seeds saying they will replace my seeds, which I find very commendable. There’s still a chance the 3rd will make it, and one is still in the fridge. No idea, I must have gotten a bad batch, I don’t know. 21.06.26 Yeah, the 4th is also done, nothing after 5 days or so. The 3rd is in the Jiffi and it seems to be moving. Fingers crossed!

JaramnieJazz 22.06.26 So the 3 seeds are coming up, the 4th unfortunately nothing, but at least 1 out of 4 or 2, only the 2nd one is a runt. Had to operate on the little one, removing the shell and membrane with tweezers, hope she makes it. 23.06.26 Looks very good, the little one is developing as she should. The cotyledons are green, have opened up, and are leaning towards the light, and you can see the first single-finger leaves developing. Luckily, the 4th seed worked out after all, so it's even more important that I get her pollinated. Fingers crossed for a nice male! Update: the little one has been put in her final pot, 1L, now she just needs to develop. 24.06.26 Things are going well, I received a nice little package today with some Dr. Grinspoon seeds and a few freebies. I think that's very decent from High Giraffe Seeds, thank you! 25.06.26 Looks good, developing, but needs to be monitored further. 26.06.26 The little one is developing a bit too slowly for my taste, but it is what it is. I'm just glad I have a little Dr. G at all, now it needs to be watched. 28.06.26 It's moving forward, slowly but surely.

JaramnieJazz 29.06.26 It's progressing, the little one is developing. Slowly 30.06.26 Today there was the first weak fertilization, no idea if it was weak enough for a 100% Sativa, we will see, and on top of the pot, Trifolium repens and Trifolium pratense were sown, so white clover and red clover. 01.07.26 It's going well, I looked at the pictures of my cross and how they have developed, and it's going really well, slow start but now the little Dr.G is coming along as it should. I hope to find a male to have more seeds with this genetics; it was hard to find Dr.Grinspoon seeds at all, wanted them since I saw them at Barneys Farm, which they no longer have in stock. I also ordered 200ml of colloidal silver with 100ppm; last year with 25ppm it didn't work, probably too weak, but with 100ppm it should work. Even if I can't find a male, I'll make one, a Devil with Dr.G to reduce the flowering time and at the same time feminized seeds, and of course the big one too, a branch that I left on all the way down that won't produce good flowers anyway. 02.07.26 Developing well, and I threw my plan out the window since I still have 2 Black Lemon Fast and the summers are short, and now that the silver is coming, I decided to take all females: Doors #1-2, Walkabout, Devil, Dr.Grinspoon, and hope that in my cross Afghan Fast x Critical Haze one of the 3 is a female and the Mango Cheese x NL5SKUNK is also female. I will grow them all together in the cabinet, rebuild the nursery station, and spray the Black Lemon Fast with colloidal silver so that it produces male flowers and pollinates all the females. That would be the easiest way to go through without much effort, a bunch of cool crosses that are all feminized with the fast-flowering genetics I need, and I can collect pollen with which I can pollinate the big lower branch, that would be much easier, and then I would have Black Lemon x Black Lemon Fast. It would be fun to see what comes out of that; I like lemony stuff and the fast flowering for Dr.G and the others, that's the plan!!!!!!! And if there is a male in my cross, it will be brought out, and the pollen harvested and used; everything is much easier, and a few regular seeds are also important to have male plants. Peace 03.07.26 So the colloidal silver has arrived, now waiting to spray the Quick Black Lemon or maybe another one and make different crosses. 04.07.26 Now it's waiting time since I'm going away for a short trip, and the Afgh x CH #1-3 and MC x NL5SKUNK #1, and not to forget Quick Black Lemon #1-2 still need to grow, and you should constantly spray without pause, and they still need to be repotted, AND Dr.G is not ready yet. Today they moved into their final domicile, 1L fabric pots, so Quick Black Lemon #1 and #2 are coming tomorrow. And Trifolium repens and Trifolium pratense were sown in all, so red clover and white clover. 05.07.26 It's going well; I hope at least one of the two Quick Black Lemon has that citrus FIZZZZ during the stem rub like the big Black Lemon, which will definitely be pollinated. The goal is definitely to pollinate Dr.G; the big ones should produce flowers, and then how it continues with the little ones will be shown by time. The plan changes all the time depending on who has which gender; the good thing is that I can bring them under artificial light, so I don't have to worry about any going into flowering unintentionally, but I still have to be careful since I want to pollinate the big Black Lemon because of the FIZZZZ. So I still have to time everything right. MAN MAN MAN

JaramnieJazz 06.07.26 Yes, the little one is doing quite well, actually doesn't look like a 100% Sativa at all so far, let's see. Also, the fertilizer instructions from RQS are 1 tablet per 10L of water. 07.07.26 The little one is doing great, I added a pinch of Mycorrhiza since I forgot it during repotting, I just sprinkled it on top of the substrate, it should work like that too since the spores are tiny and will be washed into the medium by the water. 08.07.26 It's turned into a proper little plant, thank goodness. 09.07.26 Nothing to report. 11.07.26 The silicon instructions refer to 4g per 10L of water and the Epsom salt is 3 tablespoons per 10L of water.

JaramnieJazz 03.08.26 She's a bit pale, so she's getting more nutrients now. 06.08.26 Looks much better already, and I've found the perfect female that I can spray with silver to make FEM seeds of Afghan almost x Critical Haze #3.

@Relentless-Pressure, thanks! I will cross with my crossbreed to have seeds with that genetics since it was so hard to get the seeds to germinate at all.

Wait until the stretch comes😏 then you'll see the sativa genes. I had it from Barneys 15 years ago. The buds aren't that huge, but it was definitely an experience 👍🏼

@GreenHobbit, it should be fine staying in the 1L pot, we will see.
