SOG: Oreoz Milkshake Fenotipo 1

deseed_uy We're starting a new grow, now trying the SOG technique with all the genetics I have to discard the ones I no longer want to keep. This diary is going to be about the Oreoz Milkshake phenotype 1, which is one of my favorites, super resinous and a beautiful plant overall, some exquisite creamy rocks. They came from outside with pests, there are two Oreoz F1 but in these photos I can't tell which is which since I hadn't arranged them properly yet lol, I'll be uploading the whole process soon.

deseed_uy Week 2 since the transplant, I like to show how they enter the tent so you can see how they improve in just a few days🤩 we're moving into flowering now. That's right, the two in the back on the right are the beautiful Oreoz F1.

deseed_uy Week 1 of flowering, I killed them with the light the first weeks, it was hard for me to get used to the LED and switch back to the growing mindset in winter. A lot of cold and humidity to increase the LED power, luckily my friend Jardin33ro always helps me realize those technical things. It's very important that the VPD is right to make them perform at their best.

deseed_uy I just realized that it was strange that there were hardly any pistils yet. They were taking quite a while to dry between waterings and looked weird, so I lowered the ppfd from 650 to 400 and now you're going to see the difference between this week and next week is huge!

deseed_uy Now it officially started the flowering stage, they improved a lot with the reduced power of the LED, but I'm still not convinced that the humidity is between 70 and 80 day and night. I've read that this slows down the flowering since the plant can't feed properly and doesn't transpire as it should, especially if the temperature isn't helping, like now when it's been at 15 degrees some days.

deseed_uy Starting week 6😮‍💨 Yesterday I measured the runoff and the pH came out low in both, 5.6 and EC high 2.2, so this week I'm going to give them a couple of waterings with water and enzymes to mobilize accumulated nutrients. Beautiful genetics, tremendous buds in this phenotype!

deseed_uy Week 7🤩 This week we lowered the ferti dose, definitely took out the sensi bloom so the nutrient load starts to decrease. I also removed the heat lamp to help change their color and to not encourage the few little spider mites that are left in the tent since we lowered the humidity quite a bit, trying to keep it between 55 and 58. Very happy with this second grow of the oreoz, beautiful resin-producing genetics and super tasty!
