OldBayAutos Germinated with paper towel method. Sprouted in a couple days after dropping in soil. Coast of Maine Stonington Blend soil with 15% perlite. Roughly 2 gal perlite to 1.5 cu ft soil. Solo Cup worth of Coast of Maine Seed Starter in middle of pot. Soil was dry out of bag, added half gallon water. Watering 8 oz every few days when top of soil drys out. DLI is 18. Light on level 5. Plants look great a few days in. Fungus knats are from another grow in late flower.

OldBayAutos Real strong week and hopefully they all start to take shape next week. Potential for some big plants if veg runs smooth. No. 2 is a little pale but she just needs to get past the seed starter and into Stonington Blend. 20 oz of RO water, 6.5 ph yesterday. Light is 40 inches, level 5, DLI 18.

OldBayAutos Really strong week of growth. No. 1 is the tallest and 9 inches with good spacing. No. 2 has hit the edge of the pot with some fatty leaves and added some color. Should see big growth next week. 20 oz RO water, ph 6.6. Every 3-4 days. Light is level 5, DLI 18. Will increase this week.

OldBayAutos Wow, doubled in size this week! No 1 is the tallest and has a Charlie Brown Christmas look. Super healthy and in pre flower. No. 3 is the star, numerous bud sites and a healthy green. No 2 was pale and droopy all week until I lowered and moved the fan. Thinking it was simply wind burn. Although, there is always one plant in a grow that does not like conditions. Will see if it fully recovers. 32 oz RO water, ph 6.4. Every 4-5 days. Light is level 4, DLI 21. I lowered the light a level. No 1 was showing signs of light stress, I think.

OldBayAutos Plants look a little sad, just woke up. Starting to take final shape and are healthy. 1 and 2 are the same pheno - very vertical. They both are showing some nitrogen deficiency. I’m surprised the Stonington Blend depleted that quickly. The other four plants in the tent are lush green. Reminds me of Lemon Autos I grew last year. Almost look like a cactus! 3 is a boss and one of the best plants I’ve grown to this point. Hoping the trend continues into flower. Great spacing - height and lateral branching requires no training, not even leaf tucking. I top dressed 2 tbsp of DTE 444, 3 tbsp of DTE 484, and 2 cups worm castings. That’s it, try to keep it simple as possible. This was around day 30 and should have hit them a week earlier. They will be alright… Watered 32 oz of RO water at 6.5 ph. PPFD is 500 with DLI of 36. They really grew into the light.

OldBayAutos Good week of growth. Plants 1 & 2 were overwatered for a couple weeks. They received no water this week and are bouncing back. The nutrients are also starting to hit and leaves are much greener. Plant 3 continues to shine going into flower strong. She is pushing three feet tall, perfect size for my setup. Some yellowing of the lower leaves but rest of plant is healthy. The top dress should kick in this week with another planned for the end of July to finish up. Sugar leaves are starting to turn a beautiful dark purple, the finish should be fantastic visually. Lost power last night and no light on plants for about 12 hours, think they will be fine. I am traveling next week and will need watering to last five days, will give them close to a gallon today to be safe. Watered plant 3 with 64 oz RO water at 6.5 ph earlier this week. Light is level 5, 20 inches, at 36 DLI. They seem happy here.

OldBayAutos Stable week while I was traveling. My wife watered them 16 oz a day and they looked good when i returned. No. 3 grew a couple more inches and they are ready to start stacking. No. 3 also showed major deficiencies during the week, so all three plants are not running super clean into flower. Still in good shape but not overly lush. My other run is great and keep thinking the difference is the extra perlite added - roots are having a tough go in the heavy peat Stonington Blend. No. 3 is showing some great bud sites along with more color. No. 1 & 2 are still like cactus - big main stalks with healthy main cola and they don’t drink much water 😀 Given the deficiencies, I topped dressed a week early yesterday with 5 tbsp Down to Earth 484 and 2 cups worm castings. No. 3 got an extra 2 tbsp Down to Earth 444. Also added 1/2 tbsp molasses to about 64 oz water, ph 6.5. The soil is already crusting so think the molasses is helping. Have not used it much over the years. I raised the light a little to set it about 20 inches from canopy and set to level 7. PPFD is 550 and DLI is 39. I probably will not push them any harder.
