Had a problem this week, I had just finished topping the plants for the last time (minus the church which I was hoping to get to as it was behind the other 3, anyhow, there was a nasty storm the day after I topped the plants, and had a power outage during lights on, so I just kept the lights off for a little over 24 hrs to begin flowering. I turned on the right side sp-250 light and repositioned the plants to prepare for the trellis, still deciding on what to do, I had planned on building one but I am going to start shopping now.
EDIT: I was since told that if this ever were to happen again in the future just get them back on track and they shouldn't start going into flower. I'll have to give it a try next time something like this happens.
@smoking_hills9, thanks for the compliment! 🙏 and you are 100% right, I nearly cut it all out and replaced it with rope but figured I'd give it a shot. Once this harvest is complete I am going to use some self tapping screws then string it with a small rope for the next harvest.
I've grown Dutch passion orange families seeds.
-4 weeks Veg 8 week flower
-F.I.Med (not topped) only once
-defoliated 3 times
-315 watt C.M.H
-5 gall pots
-watered every 3 days
and pulled 4 ounces per plant dry.
Your buds look nice but if your looking to pull more dry weight in a MUCH shorter grow time keep it simple. Ignore the mainlining and topping and screen and all that BS. Just grow 4 plants in the same space.
Get a bigger light. 315 watt cmh or a couple cob led bars at 240 watt a peice.
I dont use a screen and my plants support the buds weight. The FIM keeps the plant even height.
Just my two cents. Good luck and the bud does look great good job.
